I saw the first episode, and I am not sure how I feel about this. I will wait for a few more episodes since I was looking forward to the cast. It feels like Sky Castle, but more makjang, ridiculous, and more like a parody.
Why are people discussing about parallel universe of multiple YTYs? Isn't this drama about time travel of Futuristic…
Choi Won Young's character talks about parallel universes in his lecture. Potential explanation for why killing people in the "past" doesn't seem to affect the "future" self (ex: the woman with the daughter)
Just finished episode 10. I love watching the drama for the costumes, sets, and atmosphere. So different from other cdramas I've watched. Loving the unique characters especially when they're all together. I like the female leads a lot. Unlike other viewers, I hope there isn't any outright romance. Not sure if I love the pacing overall, but the story is interesting.
I am only up to ep 12 yet and I really like the plot but the directing is really so so. I kept thinking if there…
I agree with you on the closeups. I think the director also did Under the Power, and those close ups were so unnecessary and took me out of the scene just about every time...honestly, it's not even about the acting prowess of the cast...that shot choice is just not artsy nor do they add emotion to the scene. I'm sure there have been shows and movies that made great use of super closeups, but not here.
I appreciate that the writer is doing something different where the drama focuses heavily on politics and less…
Not really enjoying the Hanjo parts for the right reasons lol it feels disconnected from the rest of the story. I enjoy corruption and corporate politics, but this one...I'm enjoying the chemistry and tension between Yoon Jae and the two men (Sang Moo & Sung Moon Daily CEO) instead...
Honestly, I hate the whole family so I don't care who wins (Yeon Jae hasn't given me a reason to root for her except it would be nice to have a badass ultra powerful female CEO)...I'd rather Hanjo fails and crumbles, but we know that probably isn't happening.
Anyways, I still want to have faith in the writer, and this week's episodes look interesting. We finally get to meet Prosecutor Seo's wife!
I appreciate that the writer is doing something different where the drama focuses heavily on politics and less on cases. Knowing about the legal system would probably help, but the drama needs to be better at showing it too. There is just too much talking, and not enough showing. The writer has a lot to say, but the way it is presented on screen isn't quite working for me...there are moments here and there that I enjoy though.
Also, I like when Hwang Si Mok is with either Seo Dong Jae or Han Yeo Jin, and when he is doing Si Mok-like things (do not have enough of that here!).
I finally finished this drama after having it on hold since last year. This drama will probably be one of my favorite romcoms minus the childhood parts. They were so unnecessary, but everything else about Ryan and Deokmi's relationship was perfect. Also, I did not like how they glossed over the negative/stalker behaviors of Hyojin and overzealous fangirls, but overall, the fangirl aspect was cutely done. Tbh, I loved the lead chemistry so much I was willing to overlook the weaknesses.
Don't like how she has been in recent episodes at all. Her character started off so promising, but has been getting…
I understand that to a certain point. In general, I wasn't fully on board for the reasons for why the retrial failed and dad had to die ASAP. Also, she is one of the reasons why, and it just seems too convenient to have her character act like like she did esp with crucial evidence. Wouldn't she be someone who would triple and quadruple check all evidence and any assumptions she had? She didn't seem to do that, and quickly resigned herself to not sharing it which felt off from what I've seen of her.
i think the character of lee elijah left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. i started to see the drama beucase…
Don't like how she has been in recent episodes at all. Her character started off so promising, but has been getting really annoying with her constantly taking her shady boss's side....I thought she was supposed to be a smart, top reporter. Not checking up on source and believing her boss just seems like such lazy/poor writing.
Currently watching this drama. Overall, this is an easy, light-hearted watch though there are some graphic scenes.…
Enjoying this drama way more these days. The best parts are still the main lead chemistry and their relationship. I like how both leads are honest and straightforward. They've developed a trusting partnership, and the romance is perfectly paced.
The second male leads are terrible and annoying. Yang Yue started off like a nice guy, but now he's displaying stalker behavior. I actually prefer the dumbass Xie Xiao because at least he is consistently dumb and provides some comic relief....though very few (I could still do without him lol). I think the drama is finally revealing a bit more about the overarching political plot and mystery, so hoping that makes the crime solving bits more fun.
Wow, this week's episode 8 has utterly destroyed me, but also I am so enraged. I am so disappointed in the reporter. Did not think the drama would really go there, but it did. I am 110% invested. I need all the assholes to be punished. However, I would also not be surprised if they end on a realistic note where it's impossible to truly rid society of evil.
Sounds like this has been a disappontment so far. I was waiting to catch up to see if they go more in depth into their past lives. It doesn't seem like there has been much progress. Not sure why the drama is not making more use of their most interesting and biggest selling point...
Currently watching this drama. Overall, this is an easy, light-hearted watch though there are some graphic scenes. I am enjoying the main lead relationship development and still watching for them, but think the other stuff is lacking.
The cases have potential and are partially interesting, but the pacing of solving the cases feel off. I adored the FL at first, but I feel she was way more capable initially. She can still fight and stuff, but eventually the ML has to step in to actually save her. I hope there are role reversals later where she saves him. As for the ML, I like his character a lot. He is ruthless, but not an asshole (to non criminals at least). The second male lead (Xie Xiao) is so annoying and acts like a spoiled child. The other characters are okay for me so far. I like some relationships or are neutral about others, need to watch more.
This is an iQiyi production. iQiyi is a company with a US$15bn market capitalization and an army of lawyers that…
Thank you for this information. I always like learning more about this industry especially the behind the scenes details most people may not know about. I am not surprised that remakes need to be adapted and localized in order to be successful. I'm sure certain cultural things just don't work/make sense if taken exactly from the original. Also, yes, prior to the Hallyu ban China/Korea had a growing content relationship, so I am curious to see how the relationship will be moving forward as the ban is supposed to be lifting slowly. I was keen on watching this, so will follow up on any news I find.
My dropping habit usually has nothing to do with the drama itself. I tend to binge watch them at a rapid pace…
This is me. I also have a tendency to be like this with airing dramas. I'll be completely invested, but miss maybe a week or two...then just never finish the drama. I did this a lot when I was watching every airing kdrama.
I figured out recently that taking a break from a drama (usu cdramas because they are so long) then going back to it helps me be excited again to finish stuff.

Randomly wanted to watch this again, as I really enjoyed it back then.
