i found that refreshing; she's assertive rather than timid like most modern FLs. Her EQ is actually mature; she displays this multiple times throughout the drama. Her exaggerated diva act and purposely cute voice are endearing.

If they started this drama with them bickering at each other from the start then it'll just be like any modern drama out there.

I feel like that's where kdramas have been failing -- chemistry. The romance feels really superficial most of the time.

I actually think the little sister adds a lot of value to the story; how the FL reacts and treats the little sister tells us a lot about the FL's level of EQ maturity.

I was actually surprised how the FL responded after her first encounter with the little sister.

It's refreshing. I'm finding myself being pleasantly surprised by this drama and laughinf out loud while watching it.

The dumb twin already betrayed her group of 5 sworn siblings in ep 7... wtf? I was hoping to see them loyally tough it out and scheme their way through their tribulations. But instead we get to watch the poor writing of the 5 of them mistrusting each other as soon as their adult casts come onto the screen.

Y'all trusted each other enough as kids to kill a bunch of highly trained wolves but you cannot trust each other anymore as soon as puberty hits? The dumb twin is their weakest link.

Apparently, she inherited all the shitty personality genes while the FL received all the positive ones. She started out as the headstrong and abrasive twin but ended up a timid and willing kitten when her rapist corners her every time he wants more. Did they take the script from a JAV story or something?

English subs are pretty bad -- especially ep 7 & 8. They translated something into "WeChat"... sigh...

Up to ep 8... poor writing and acting. So, so bad.

That's impossible... that's a huge part of the story. The two leads -- esepcially Yang Guo -- change a lot during that phase.

Good watch for the focus on romance and good chemistry. It did rush melo due to low episode count. Don't have high expectations. The two leads look like a real couple from BTS footages.

Feels like they did it just to make it a (poorly written) typical Korean melodrama.

The villains were terrible; "i have this comfortably high ranking lifestyle in a despotic regime, but let me throw it all away for... simply nothing! Not just once but multiple times!" Joseon Dynasty villains in a modern setting.

Through 8 episodes, the FL is actually refreshing compared to most recent ones even though she's a young 26-year-old character. She's spunky and playful toward the ML; her exaggerated diva act is quite fun to watch haha.
The ML has the usual stoic attitude but he carries himself well while showing signs of softening up to her.

Happy for the two leads.
