The quality of that wig was unbelievably good.

Yeah, Houchi's expression after she stabbed him looked like of regret and confusion. Probably because she thought him being as strong as he is, there was no way she would be able to stab him that easily.

Yeah, her character is developing into a more mature one.

And in the grand scheme of things, Wu Huan is a small issue compared to the Tribulations of Chaos. Bai Jue knows that if Shanggu knows about the tribulation, then he will have to painfully watch her turn into dust again. So, even if she ends up hating his guts for his indifferent act, he just wants her to be alive. Damn, just thinking of that got me teary again!

Is it just me or does Changge just become more annoying to watch? Got to ep 24 and she's basically a spoiled princess alternating between a wannabe-spy/damsel in distress while causing trouble in someone else's palace... The drama becomes a cycle of her and Sher antagonizing the ML every episode...

I felt the same way.

In addition to many of the other characters, I really grew to love Tianqi.

He went from a care-free likeable character to a nuisance-at-times-but-still-a-bro to a loveable chaotic-good character.

I don't think I've seen a chaotic-good character being portrayed as well as him in a drama before.

We should already know Bai Jue is well-versed in 4D chess from the time he dealt with Xuanji.

YES those scenes were so good!

I think the biggest burn Jingzhao deserved was being so insignificant in Shanggu's eyes, she wasn't even worth the attention or thought for punishment. Because Jingzhao's character has always been big on reputation, recognition, and honor throughout the realms. So, Jingzhao being shown how worthless she is, is the best punishment for her.

It's like Xu Kai stole Jupiter's love-interest in real life so now he's extra salty.

Also, toward the end, they did a flashback of her initial time with Shanggu. I was glad they did, because I forgot how pure, innocent, and loyal she was. Especially the scene where she teased Shanggu about her crush on Bai Jue. Got me emotional. This damn drama got me emotional in so many aspects; friendship, love, family, etc...

Well, I'm sure the reason why the production selected her is because of her talent. Plus, the reason she selected the script was because she liked it and saw the potential. So, it worked out in the end, she did a marvelous job as a dynamic villain.

Plus, the scene where Shanggu pointed out that Jiangzhao is basically a useless immortal (what contributions have she made? She only boasts on her princess status) so Jiangzhao is not even worth Shanggu's time nor attention.

So, Jiangzhao being so insignificant is the biggest burn imo.

imo, this drama topped L&R in every aspect.

The love story of both are different, so cannot compare the two. I love both stories equally.

At the same time, I appreciate that they don't just revive everyone just for the sake of a happy ending.

It's been a long time since I have watched a drama where I grew to love so many supporting characters. Yuemi is one of them.

There are a lot of scenes where they affectionately hug each other too. I found that refreshing because we rarely see that in a xianxa? haha
