There isn't much to mention as it was a very short story, but it was enjoyable enough. The acting wasn't particularly outstanding but not that bad either. The story didn't feature the typical trope where one of them pushes the other in some way, so I really liked this one.
I highly think that the old man at the beginning is Hee Tae and the dead body is Myung Hee because otherwise I don't see the point of showing it like that if it is not directly related to the main characters to begin with. I feel like we're in for a long crying session.

The ending made sense and I'm glad she chose Hyeyoung in the end but damn this show dragged it for so long, I…
Even though I was Team Sunoh, I agree with your comment so much. Your 3rd paragraph sums it up pretty much. JJ never looked genuine around HY and it seemed like she was with him more because of guilt than anything else. They had no romantic chemistry whatsoever, barely friendship at most. Their "skinship" was so off and there wasn't that much to begin with considering they had been a couple since the season started. That simple kiss had more meaning than the entirety of this show. Such a waste of time.
ok but based on how off the actings were, I feel like even the actors actually struggled to understand their characters.
I was thinking about this too! Song Kang and Sohyun are great actors but they both seemed so off, probably neither had a clue of what was going on with their characters either and just acted their way through to get it over with.
Fell asleep 2 times while binge-watching its 1hr40ms and I only kept watching for Xiaojun, but definitely will never look at it again (just Xiaojun and Xie Xingyang's clips). The fact that this is not a BL doesn't make sense because Chang Yan and Zheng Dian are clearly deep into each other.
I have no words to express how much I'm enjoying this drama. I'm a big Rowoon fan so I obviously would watch it, and tbh eps 1-2 seemed a little off but they set the story for a good one in a particular way and it's going on pretty well. I thought I was enjoying it just because of how much I love Rowoon, but seeing others loving it a lot too warms my heart. Chae Hyunseung is such a great character and like others mention, very true to himself and mature. I also like Yoo Songah a lot. I thought she would be hesitant and going back and forth about her feelings, but I like how determined and fierce she is. The side characters and side stories are pretty interesting and fun to watch. I love the plot between the Director and Hyunseung's sister. There's no side story I'm not invested in this drama, which shows that it's actually pretty well-written, I would say. Loving it so much.
I don't know why this drama has such a negative reception. I think it's very cleverly done and fresh. The characters may not be the most innovative but the story and format of the show definitely are and make it very entertaining to watch. I'm enjoying it a lot.
I love Kyung Jun and Rin Yi, they're the cutest ever. I loved that they finally gave us more details on their relationship and how Kyung Jun won her heart. They're so cute, I love them so much.
PD.: does anyone knows which game they were playing on ep 6?
Me, watching this drama: cliché is good, I love cliché, give me cliché...
Seriously, though, I know this drama doesn't really have much of a plot but it's just a cute drama with a light story. There are several other dramas that deal with much more serious topics, if you don't like this one just don't watch it. I've dropped several dramas for not liking the story, you can just do so with this one too.
I love the casting, I think they're all very fit to the role and do their parts all very good. Eunwoo and Inyeop are both so lovely, Gayoung is a gorgeous actress and all the other cast is very eye-candy, which I think fits well considering the topic of the show.
I just hope they eventually focus on the fact that beauty standards are wrong and focus on a deeper message than covering yourself in makeup just to be accepted in society.
GT is a little bit annoying tho, I get his brother is particular and his life has been hard but this thing of kdrama leads not letting their mistakes as CHILDREN stay in the past is so frustrating. GT was probably like 10yo when the river incident happened and he's lived his life like a ghost because of that (and wishing he had a normal brother blabla). But boy get it over, you're an adult now. You know better now and you're taking care of your brother, get yourself some happiness too PLEASE. I'm glad to know that ep 11 seems to be that though, he seems to be trying to make ST more open and that's really good. There are some little things I don't like about this drama, tho. Like the fact that the head doctor of the hospital resembles too much to Master Kim from Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim kind of throws me off. The way he's this type if "crazy doctor with weird ways of making things happen" just like KSB is a little tiring. Also, that the head nurse is there as his right hand just like the head nurse in RDTK. I just don't quite like this part (not to mention the hospital is literally Dolddam Hospital). Also, I feel like they got lazy with the cinematography...? Not saying it looks ugly or anything, not at all! This drama is absolutely visually pleasant, but the first episodes had amazing transitions and just very overall smart editing and it made it so much prettier. I get that's what they came up with to attract viewers (and it worked), but I would've liked more if they kept that flawless editing.Still, I'm loving this drama so much, MY is one of my favorite all-time characters already, as she's probably the strongest I've seen in a while. I enjoy my weekends a lot these days.
I love it, but it's still wrong how MY lured ST into her house and manipulated him, so KT would move in with her.…
She definitely lured ST and manipulated him to get KT, however, KT also mentioned that. When he was trying to get ST back home he said that 'they' (she) were taking advantage of him. I think he is aware of the fact that she's manipulative and wants him as someone wants a precious object (not that she doesn't like him, but her approach is obviously wrong), and I don't think the writers are trying to glamorize or normalize her behavior like some people claim (not you), since they're clearly portraying her as a psycho. I think *and hope* that they address this, I'm almost sure they will since it's obvious that they're showing her as a toxic person due to her personality disorder.
I see a lot of great reviews but I thought this drama was awful. I'm wondering if more people who didn't like…
That's the same thing I'm thinking! I had such a hard time finishing this drama but I didn't drop it altogether just because I wanted to stick to the end and leave That One negative review because everyone seemed to love this drama so much while I'm very strongly against everything. It was one of the worst dramas I have ever watched and that's probably an understatement already.
I feel like Memorist mocked the viewers with how the story developed towards the last 6 episodes. All the killer hunting was done for nothing as we're left with such an unsatisfying ending. I really feel like I wasted 16h+ of my time on this.
The fact that this is not a BL doesn't make sense because Chang Yan and Zheng Dian are clearly deep into each other.
