Viki puts it this way: “Lu Ran Ran (Xu Ruo Han) is a young medical intern on her path to becoming a doctor. Wang Chen Yi (Liu Yi Chang) is a video game designer who has created an imaginative virtual scenario set in China’s imperial past. A strange twist of fate finds Ran Ran sucked into the game, now transformed into Lu Ren Jia, a woman who who has the attention of four attractive princes. One of them is Chen Yi himself – the most junior and flamboyant of the brothers. The NPC princes are different: one is gentle, another is romantic. As they become more involved in the mysterious game, the NPCs begin to develop new personality quirks their creator never envisioned them having! Is there a way out of this VR world for Ran Ran? Or is she destined to find love within this imaginary world?
Park Sung Hoon cannot seem to catch a break with his drama choices! I wonder if he would have picked it if he knew ahead of time that it would be split in two? Ditto the rest of the cast. I had a bad feeling about the production the second the FL was announced. I guess I will watch part one in mid-February. Sign!
Love the two main leads. I would have enjoyed it more if the focus was on them instead of the BORING law firm…
For myself, the law firm dramas are what is saving this drama, seeing as there is so little going on in the romance department. Matter of fact, reading that these two are together in real life, I could not have been more surprised!😳
This drama has already finished filming since June of last year. So the Covid lock down won't affect it, but it…
If funny historicals appeal to you, there are a number of older ones that are subbed. I believe someone just wrote an article on the drama shorts, and perhaps there might be some recommendations included. If all else fails, juggle regular dramas. I have two or three on the go at any given time. As for Covid interrupting filming, I was giving a general example of what can delay a drama. Actors behaving badly necessitating a re-shoot or periods of national mourning can also cause delays. So best to have a backup drama or a movie, of which zillions are subbed, to pass the time until your favourite is back.
I checked the airing calendar (available to everyone here-just click on your avatar) And both episodes 25 and 26 will play this Friday. No point in getting your knickers in a knot over delays. They are a part of the industry. It is quite feasible the Covid 19 lock down in China will further impede filming. Delays can be expected around it. So why not check out some of the short dramas to pass the time? 😀
