At first I wasn't sure about this show but by the last episode I want more and now I am waiting for the S2. Unexpectedly this show made me cry too. I just loved their friendship and the dimensions of their friendship. It's not a simple slapstick on alcoholics but rather a great drama on friendship IMO. Btw the last episode had Yoo Shi-Yoon and woah I can't wait for S2 lol 😂
Idk but what if Min-chae is Yurim's daughter? I was just going through the Credits of Choi Myung Bin (Min Chae) and she played younger version of Bona in Your House Helper... like a coincidence? 🤔
Btw I never thought that Bona would one day become such a great actor. Like how you have this prejudice against Idol-Actors but I know like so many other great Idol-Actors she had potential. Hope she gets more lead roles from now.
Is this really good? How is the pace of drama I mean it's a Cdrama so Dragging and Unnecessary Fillers and Twists are necessary. But how is it overall tbh for the record I've just watched only 1 Drama of Xiao Zhan and kinda none of Yang Zi (I dropped Go×2 Squid, Ashes of Love at E2 :/ ) But kinda interested to watch this.
I don't get those concerned about the High Ratings of this drama or who think it's absurd for a Rom-com to have a high rating but they shouldn't forget that a lot people want to watch dramas like this and there's no problem with that. And what people forget is that MDL stands for "My Drama List" which literally means it's a user specific user based site. Are we here to watch Oscar Nominated Stuff? The ratings are just based on People's Preferences and likeness. Every show doesn't have to be artistic IMO. This is a No-Brainer Light Cheesey Clichéd Drama and once in a while we need that light hearted drama.... You have tons of other Highly Rated dramas which are more complex and have tightly knotted plots without the usual clichés so watch those no one has forced anyone to watch this... I think we should respect that people have different tastes and preferences and that there's no harm in catering to everyone I mean making dramas for every demographic. Just like we still have those Makjang 50 Ep dramas and why? Cuz there are still a huge number of people who watch those type of shows and they still get high TV ratings. And it's not this one is only highly rated on MDL but TV Ratings touched as high as 12.8% in Seoul Region. So what I mean to say is that let people watch what they want if you don't like it, drop it! But there's no reason to criticize a show when you haven't even watched it. Yes you can criticize if you didn't like it but why speak of bad something when you know nothing about it.
People should just watch a Drama for how it is. And sometimes leave their brains at backburner and focus on what their Heart likes.
I remember this drama being rated a lot lower than 9.0 when it first aired. What changed?
People ended up loving the show for how it reminded them of the good old classic Rom-com Kdramas but with clichés handled very well. Lately Korea gave us sad or ambiguous open endings or just focused on Dark/Crime/Thriller which is why I think people were longing to have a good Rom-com and this show fulfilled that.
Also it's a No Brainer Drama so I feel that people shouldn't try to focus too much on the technicalities but just watch it for being a light fluffy and super cheesy clichéd drama...!
https://twitter.com/fluffyyhamster/status/1509386249672749066?t=mTqmQRrSbUi-L4pKk432sQ&s=19Synopsis for ep.11…
Aish so it seems we're not gonna get a wedding scene then? Although I know that the wedding spoiler going around was actually a Photo of Sol In-ah's real life friend's wedding and not from the drama's set but still. I hope they decide to give us a sequel even a 4-6 Episode one like there's no compulsion of 16Ep format anymore...
Here but lemme apologize first I saw tweets and a screenshot of this very website where the synopsis was changed but now it isn't. I don't know whether those tweets were reliable or not now that you asked me for website I searched and found this you have to translate it though cuz it's in Korean. Once again I apologise.
Can some tell me what are the 2 different words used by kangtaemu and hamin to say 'brother in law' in korean?…
Basically it's just like how Indians refer their relatives with different words like Devar, Jeth, Bhaiya or Sala. Koreans use different words too just like @jerrykctfdm explained. So Hyeongnim is elder brother-in-law from both the Husband's and Wife's side. They have a rather complex way in addressing female relatives too lol 😂 Watch a family drama and you'll gradually get the words.
The production team is either 1. Preparing us for a sad ending 2. planning a suprise happy end
I hope for No.2 🤞 I think they did it to play with viewers and get more people to watch it obviously it's more than a nail-biting situation right? Everyone would watch regardless of how it ends.
The synopsis was released by tvN I think on their website it's actually episode synopsis and the details were released by a supposed employee of Hwa&Dam Production (Maker of this drama and a sister company of tvN) on a Korean Forum where the post mentioned that how it wasn't meant to be happily ever after but the writers wanted a realistic view ( I don't exactly remember the words but basically that's what it said).
Also tvN's website changed the main synopsis of the drama too from "They fell in love at 25-21 to they part ways at 25-21."
Even though I am contemplating about dropping this after reading the spoilers... I would still watch the last episode I guess regardless of how they end it whether happy or sad or something which we haven't expected of. But I don't get why did they say in the synopsis that "at 25-21 they fall in love" when both of them broke up at 24-20? Does that mean they fell in love with other people I mean their current Husband and Wife? Then what was the need of these 14 episodes and although I knew they won't end up together considering Min-chae's last name and her not recognising her father's younger face but why was she rooting for them when she knows that in the year 2021-22 she has a father who isn't Baek Yi-jin? So does that mean that all this while she was only curious about her mum's life when she was young and about her first love and close friends? Cuz she knows who her father is but never knew about Heedo's first love right? Now I get it!!!
i really hope we get a wedding at the end !! like i don’t even care which couple would get it! i just want one…
Naah I don't think we'll get one at this point. Only 2 Eps left and E11 will have that accident, misunderstandings, disapproval and then perhaps approval of their relationship. And only in E12 we will have a few sweet moments at this rate. Idk why did they have to come up with this sudden plot-twist when they knew that they have just 12eps 🙃
Is this drama really worth 8.4 rating? Cuz I dropped when it was airing at Ep 3 if I remember it right.... the ratings I mean TV ratings were very low and then I've read so much worse about this drama. I am actually almost on the verge of entering a slump since 2521 and BP are ending and I'm looking for dramas just to pass my time so thought to give chance to those that I dropped at initial episodes. I love Bo-young Noona and Seo In Guk but not sure.... what should I do? Shall I give it another chance?
