Also I wanna know something... who's Na Heedo's husband cuz her daughter's name is "Kim" Min-chae which means her dad isn't Baek Yi-jin so is it really possible that Yi-jin is dead or perhaps they broke up and moved onto their lives. Cuz in E2 I think if I remember it right, Heedo's Mum said that she met Yi-jin a few days ago which could either mean that she literally met Yi-jin alive or she went to his Tombstone or something. You may spoil me if any of you have any idea.
P.S. Doesn't the actor who plays Heedo's Mum resemble Kim Seo-hyung? I saw her in Run On too thought the same.
Wow okay I know why this show is getting all the high ratings, reviews and appreciation. I'm at E7 right now and a lot of emotions are going inside me. First of it all it has that Reply 1988 vibes but fused with something like Just b'ween Lovers. Acting and writing are seriously commendable but that's the least when Kim Taeri is part of the show. OST is nice too doesn't stand out yet goes well with the over-all vibe of the drama. I had this in My PTW list for months and was waiting for it complete it's TV run but seeing all the hype I thought to give it a try while it's still airing. Started E1 a few days but then I read a few comments that it may have a "Sad Ending" which although I have no issue with but wasn't in mood to watch that. So I put it On-hold but after confirming from others in Comments here I started it again today and now I can't stop myself.
Btw I am so frustrated with Bona's character she seems like a Pathetic Loser who can't accept that Na Heedo is at par or perhaps better than her instead she's trying to cover her inferiority complex which she's been carrying for years now. I didn't like Ko Yurim acting like a victim and blaming Heedo when she clearly won that Match.
Sorry didn't want to write this long comment and I hope this isn't counted as a spoiler
I know people are loving this drama but am i only one who feel that this drama is so much overhyped ....I can…
I respect your opinion but your comment shows that this show isn't for you. And it's okay everyone have different tastes and preferences. Also I like 2521 too and feel that it's a great drama but I don't think comparing two totally different dramas is reasonable.
Wait wait wait, WAIT. you do know also netflix doesnt release some of their kdramas internationally until a certain…
Yeah I know but that happens rarely that too in only few countries cuz of various reasons but Disney+ does it all the time. Even MCU series are released after a delay in India.
Well now I might just give it a watch. Tbh I was kinda interested cuz of Song Zuer though I've watched only one drama of her's (To Fly with You) but I liked her there yet I was confused cuz A. I know how Cdramas deal with Time Travel/Jump as you also mentioned and B. Cuz I wasn't really sure about Z.Tao and then although I can now watch Cdramas (Earlier I stayed away 😅) but I.... still.... you know get afraid of the amount of Episodes they have with majority having unnecessary fillers just to drag the story.
true they are leaving out indian region, they dont even know the potential
Exactly and they know that they'll be much better than Netflix cuz Netflix's subscriber base in India looks like peanuts in front of Disney+ Hotstar. Just Imagine the scope since 2521, ABP, Squid Game and All of Us Are Dead are still in Top10 dramas list on Netflix in India so how much more attraction Hostar will get. Even Amazon Prime has Kdramas these days in India lol 😂
Idk what's the problem with Disney+ why not just upload all the episodes at once like Netflix and also make it available globally (at least in countries where Disney+ is available) like I mean Hotstar the largest Indian OTT service by Market Share and Userbase was bought by Disney and they expanded it to southeast Asia and while Kdramas are available on it in Thailand, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries they don't make these available in India. Whoever heads Disney+ is a moron
I notice many watching it as it airs, i don't know why people just don't wait for it to finish. There's no waiting…
It depends on the drama and the individual watching. Like I watch on-going dramas cuz it's fun for me (though not all the time especially since last year or so) Although I can't influence the ratings in Korea but I can show the support for the drama in real time as it airs and nowadays you have Netflix unlike the past so if you watch it ongoing then that show has higher chances of becoming a global hit and then more people would know about it also directly/indirectly increasing popularity of your favourite Actor. Besides though it's not entirely true that you don't get spoiled if you watch on-going dramas especially if you start in the middle like I did, I started when this drama had already aired 6 Episodes so I had to stop myself from checking the comments. I actually planned to wait until it completes it's TV run but then it didn't go how I planned and here I am lol cuz I couldn't contain my curiosity to check the drama cuz of the hype.
But most important for me is that I can enjoy the drama twice or more, Once when it airs and once after it ends airing. And you always have real-time conversations across platforms with people and find so much more like everyone will different opinions about same drama or anything which amuses me.
Others from 2521 are pretty older than him lol even I am older than him by 4 years 😶
You may spoil me if any of you have any idea.
