Idk why people are hating NJH so much? I mean yes no doubt Kim Tae-ri is great NJH may not be as great as some the "great actors" but he's no less. All the haters should just watch Great Battle. And even in Weightlifting Fairy, Light in your eyes and Scarlett Heart he did a good job. FYI I am not a fan of his but I can't understand why would anyone throw this much shit at someone they don't even know in real life just because he's an actor? He's a humble and warm person in real life too! I've seen him appearing in Coffee Friends and he was really sweet there. Besides do y'all think that these Writers, Directors or Producers are stupid? They must've found him good hence he got the role right? I too don't like a lotta actors and feel that either they should learn acting or better retire but I don't abuse or hate them. Not liking someone is okay but why hate them? Aren't there so many other actors/idols who barely can bring a single expression yet are worshipped.
I just recently got into Wuxia/Xianxia and it wasnt easy at first as I was avoiding them for a long time so I…
Wow thank you for replying!! I knew that she's hella popular but it's good that they've accepted her I mean generally when one someone doesn't resemble majority of population then usually get different treatment and are perceived as foreigners. It's good that China or Chinese doesn't do that.
Hey BTW which Wuxia/Xianxia dramas would you recommend? FYI I've dropped "Ashes of Love" and "Love and Redemption" but I've watched one costume drama, "The Romance of Tiger and Rose" and currently watching "My Heroic Husband" so I can defo watch costume/historical dramas but it's just that Wuxia are usually 50+ Eps and the VFX and Wigs makes me uncomfortable :(
Finally I have completed this drama. I dropped this drama at E15 months ago when it was still airing. I wasn't exactly invested in the story besides the fact that they did nothing except showing eSports which although I like but I don't think eSports dramas are my cup of tea and even though I love space exploration and films/shows about it, I couldn't stop thinking about the "propaganda" that the Chinese Govt usually try to peddle (not gonna take this into other direction).
But then I thought to give it another try despite the fact that I am not a fan of Yang Yang nor Dilreba and I dropped "Love 020" years ago cuz well back then Cdramas weren't that great IMO. Yet this got better from where I actually left I mean after E16 especially from E20. Lots of Kisses, fluffy moments that you might get diabetes. What I was surprised by was that there wasn't any Bad Character, toxic elements, Love Triangle instead the Leads had a pretty healthy relationship and even the supporting cast was so supportive of their relationship. Except the last 2 Eps which I feel is a fan service for Chinese Patriots this show was a Good watch though highly OVERRATED.
New Fan here!! I wanna see her in Modern Dramas idk why but Wuxia/Xianxia dramas aren't my cup of tea :( (Although I may give it a try if the story is good and it doesn't have like tons of episodes)
P.S. I am really curious about what Chinese people think of Dilreba I mean she looks more Caucasian than East Asian.
The story is interesting, but honestly I am bored. Struggling to finish it...
I can feel you mate! I dropped this drama at E15 back then when it was still on-air. Idk that gaming part was REALLLYYY long I mean for 15 Eps they just show us gaming tricks with little or barely any romance. Then that confession and rejection arc. But then after such a long time I thought to give this another chance and started watching it from E16 y'day and from then it does get BETTER albeit a lil unrealistic since everyone around them is so supportive of their relationship which was unexpected. I'm at E29 now and loving their chemistry. Although I feel that this show is defo OVERRATED. It ain't a "Mature Romance" perhaps this can be labelled as sweet, warm and "no toxicity" Modern Romance drama but this ain't your regular Rom-com or Mature Romance.
Please can someone tell me if I have to watch "With You" and "Unrequited Love" before watching this? I am pretty confused cuz both of those 2 shows have a rather lower ratings and mixed reviews....
A good watch!! I was reminiscing my school time while watching this... this show isn't something really extraordinary but doesn't drag unnecessarily nor has any bad guys or toxic parents or teachers. A sweet good Youth Drama.
Although that'd be so stupid to hate someone for a fictional work.

Also how is this romance here?
