The drama that hooked me up with Kdramas and other East Asian dramas.... I went so insane for this drama and the wonderful OST back then. Can't believe it's been almost 6 years now. I'd actually still re-watch this despite that my taste has changed and scripts, standards and definition of Kdramas have changed as well although while skipping a lot :p
Sorry I have a question.... I'm at E2 and I wanna know if this show was shot a while while ago or what? Cuz the picture quality and overall visuals remind me of 80s and 90s Hong Kong Kung-fu Movies. Did they shoot like that deliberately or was it shot years ago? Even Zhang Rouyun looks quite young when compared to JoL.
Where can I watch it for free? Dramacool has bad video quality while on YouTube it's not available in my country and WeTV is also banned in India. Viki sucks too much data and has so many ads.

I think Yan Bingyun killing Fan Xian at the end could be cuz of the following reasons.... A. He might've collided with Second Prince B. It could be Chen Pingping's plot looking at his track record C. He's the real grandson of Xiao En and might be working with someone still hidden behind the curtains. D. Or this all could be Fan Xian's own plan to safeguard his family and friends while disguising himself as dead to go and search for the Divine Temple and his mum's past like who killed her and why? He could then comeback and shock them that he's in the game too but as a Prince and the next Emperor... hehehe
Wow what an amazing Drama. Tight plot and great acting, music and production with just right amount of Humour, I mean Wang Qinian was hilarious. Plus this drama didn't feel dragging and got really intriguing from E5.
I wish if they had shot S2 with S1 so that we wouldn't have to wait so long after that cliffhanger :(
I wish to see the cast members returning for S2 especially DuoDuo and Lili cuz I know some have already agreed to comeback.
Also I need some spoilers from those who have read the novel.....!! I have some theories as for why that happened in the end (read the comment below marked as spoiler) but cleary can't stop myself from getting a lil spoiled.
