Wow sorry it took me more than a year to discover this article lol 😂 My fav are defo from Goblin, Fight My Way, CLoY, WWWSK, Five Enough and High society. I just watched Five Enough for Shin Hye-sun. Her chemistry with Sung Hoon was so awesome. And to date I feel that Park Hyung-sik and Im Ji-yeon should get a drama as MC of the show. After ParkPark Couple he had the best chemistry with Ji-yeon. Although I couldn't bear watch that show entirely cuz of the Sh*t story and Sung Joon.

I'd like to differ from you on your thoughts. Yeon-su's reason for break-up could be labelled as "immature" but it wasn't stupid nor she was a bad girlfriend. You have to understand that they were really young and there are so many people like Yeon-su who make a wall around them and tend stay behind that. People live in their own assumptions about the world and that's what Yeon-su did. If you'd watch the show properly you'll see the reason why she was like that was because of tye conditions that she grew up in. YES, I agree that she should've given a proper reason to Choi Woong and not just on a phone call but still you have give them a point of doubt. She finally found out the reason she broke-up it was EP9 or 10 when Choi Woong returns her the pouch that she left in his house. The reason was her Prejudice and Pride. Humans have ego and ego can lead to some really "stupid" decisions. By the end of the show you'll clearly see that Yeon-su has realised that she was wrong and she keeps telling him "what if I'll ruin this again?". It was all due to lack of communication. Also I didn't find any problem with Ji-woong or NJ's characters, they weren't like your regular 2FL/ML trying to sabotage the MC relation. At least NJ knew that Choi Woong loves Yeon-su and she should take a step back.
Great Article.... I like all the Romance Tropes tbh 😅 as long as I feel that spark I mean it needs to that for me to totally get immersed and once I do then no matter how many clichés come my way I watch it till end.
But my fav has to be "Enemies-to-Lovers" and "Friends-to-Lovers" cuz both usually have so much fun (if done right) and generally they have a cute bickering couple in both these tropes. Besides I'm a sucker for some Noona-romance. Idk why? So My Favourite Friends-to-Lovers shows are Weightlifting Fairy, Romance is Bonus Book, Fight for My Way, A River Runs Through It and Our Secret.
