Title Rugal
I've been waiting for this for quite some time and now that I've seen 2 episodes I don't really know what to say. I like the premise, I even started reading the webtoon, I love Choi Jin Hyuk so much, he's such a great actor and the role suits him well but...buuut... The first episode is so packed with events that they scarcely give the character any emotional preparation for whatever it is that comes for him, he had no time to grieve properly (or we didn't really see it, since there was a gap of 6 months that we saw nothing of), he had no time to explore all those emotions that I saw in the webtoon and I'm sad because I know Choi Jin Hyuk can deliver them perfectly. Other than that I like it, I hope they won't take it to a wrong turn, I still haven't finished the webtoon (I don't even know whether the author finished it at all too) so I don't really know what happens. Even if they do, I'll watch it all the same because actors like Choi Jin Hyuk and Park Sung Woong are worth anyone's time.

Don't know Ishihara Satomi ? Go watch jimi ni sugoi => https://kisskh.at/19882-jimi-ni-sugoi-koetsu-garu-kono-etsuko…
Thanks! I'll check it out. I've also realized that I knew the actress too and loved her in Romeo and Juliet. Her role here was very good too, to be honest she's the only good thing in this show.

I can't seem to get the point behind this show, maybe because I haven't read the manga. But I can't find anything interesting in it, nothing that draws me. I watched the first episode because Sota Fukushi was the only actor I knew but his role disappointed me greatly, he was so annoyingly stoic and silent that I could no longer watch no matter how hard I pushed myself to do so. I wouldn't recommend it but then again, it all depends on the person's taste.

I totally agree, because it's evident he has so much unused potential out there and he's not just a pretty face.…
Same haha! And yes I've seen Tientsin Mystic but I stopped watching it for some reason. I found it interesting but not enough stimulating for me to keep watching. I feel nearly the same with every Chinese action drama or movie I've seen, I don't know why. They seem interesting but just not enough.
On the subject of the western actors, yes I've noticed that they do the same thing in many Chinese dramas. It happens even with Chinese actors too, when they don't know some English words or they can't speak English at all, they completely dub the whole sequence with either the actor reading his line in a recording room or someone else who knows English saying it for him. It's ridiculous. I once watched a movie that included a famous Russian opera singer who seems to be very popular in China. His name is Vitas I presume you know him from that video with the yodeling man in a funny space costume haha. Well he was supposed to speak Chinese but our guy didn't seem to know a lot of the language or just couldn't pronounce some words right so they used a completely different voice making the delivery of his lines rather comical. The motion of his lips rarely matched with whatever was it that the other man said. And the movie was very decent, but that scene alone destroyed it.

Yeah, but after watching a few episodes I think that unfortunately this drama will not be any different from all other Chinese dramas and they had soooo much to work with plot-wise and actor-wise. I don't like the female character I feel as though she's a bit forced into the plot. To me it seems as if the director wanted to include a strong woman but having no idea where and how, he chose her haphazardly and thought it would be ok. Another thing that bugged me was the western actors. If you include any western actors why don't you find someone who actually speaks English well instead I don't know, finding anyone out there who looks Caucasian enough and seems to know a little bit English then dubbing his voice with someone else's. If you can't seem to find anyone like that, just exclude the whole portion and replace it with something that will not gradually lower the quality of your show. There were many other things that literally infuriated me because I wrote such a nice review here and I actually thought this would be the first Chinese drama to WOW me but...I hope they'll give me another reason to continue watching this because so far the only redeemable thing in this show is Hu Yi Tian.

Who’s the slight romance between?
I have no idea to be honest because I'm not planning to keep watching until they add all the episodes. I hate waiting and I'd rather put the show on hiatus and not wait for every new episode. Probably someone down bellow has already mentioned it.

This role definitely suits Hu Yitian. I was tired of seeing him basically play the same role of the quiet non…
I totally agree, because it's evident he has so much unused potential out there and he's not just a pretty face. All his roles are kind of the same and it bugged me too, but this one is something else. I hope it'll expand his horizon and get him to do something different where he can really showcase his skills.

So far so good, I love it. As a fan of Sherlock Holmes I'm always looking forward to new adaptations because I really want to see how the essence of the character and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's remarkable work will be handled. I'm still watching the first episode so I can't say much, but it does engage me as a viewer and it does pique my interest because I can usually tell from the beginning if something's going to annoy me and this will definitely not. The main actor, that is, the character who's supposed to represent Sherlock in a way, is good, I've liked Hu Yi Tian ever since I saw him in 'A love so beautiful', it's evident that the man can act, you can see it from his expressions to the way he carries himself and handles his lines, unlike some young Chinese actors who are so wooden it hurts watching them and who have only gotten the role because they're attractive. I like his take on the role, he seems funny, silly, childish at times and insanely clever, as any Sherlock should be haha. As I said, so far I love it and I'm excited to see more. I'm also glad that I don't see a romance tag, well there is a tag for slight romance but it isn't the focus of the show. I really want to see a quality Chinese show without having to fast forward every two minutes and roll my eyes whenever something ridiculous happens or just regret my whole existence after wasting time to watch it. This one surely has a potential, I hope they won't ruin it.

It's great to see a rookie ML performing his role well. Good range of emotions, endearing and obviously very handsome.…
I agree with everything! I watched Dr. Cutie a week ago and I was so disappointed not just in the ML but in everyone really that I seriously wanted to cry because of the wasted hours. But I've Fallen For You is something different, while yes, it has a predictable plot, the acting is good and the whole setting of the series looks solid and believable. I had fun watching it.

Well, I have a lot to say about this one. First of all, the only thing that I liked about it was the OST and that rarely happens to me. I only watched a few episodes completely, the rest I just skipped parts because of how repetitive with other dramas it was and how annoying the characters were. After reading the synopsis I was mildly intrigued mainly because it sounded like a drama with so much potential but when I started watching well... I was disappointed, truly disappointed. I really, really hate when actors are all wooden, unemotional and expressionless and I have encountered a lot of such cases in cdramas. That actually made me kind of abhor (I know that's a strong word, but I swear that's how I felt for quite some time )them and watch literally anything else. Well let's say this drama reminded me why I stopped watching Chinese dramas in the first place. The male lead was terribly emotionless, cold, expressionless...Now, I don't know whether he had been instructed to act like that by the director or that's how he just understood his character, because, of course Ji Heng has this big role in the palace so he must be cold and expressionless as to show his status and wealthy upbringing. I don't blame the actor, I'm sure he can do better once the directions are decent, it's just, to me his role sounded as one that should be played by an older person because of how lavishly he was being described by the other characters, how experienced he was and etc. and I couldn't really get that feeling from the way the actor portrayed this character. In fact I got nothing, nothing except that he's extremely arrogant and the reason behind his arrogance is this trauma that many characters in cdramas seem to have and somehow through it he's connected with the female lead and I'm supposed to feel sorry for him? Well I didn't feel sorry for him, sue me haha. And the female lead...Oh don't get me started on her. HOW oh HOW did no one realize she was a girl? I mean it was so obvious from the way she behaved to the way she talked, walked and etc. I find that a lot of female leads into dramas like this one seem to have the same problem: they're unable to concentrate to the task at hand and they seem to forget why they've embarked on that journey in the first place. She lost focus most of the time, she had a hard time composing herself and was irresponsible in over all. I mean hey, the real reason as to why you're there is to find out why your parents died, who killed them, to uncover this big conspiracy and all you do is ogle at the male lead and make a complete fool out of yourself. I mean finding the culprit behind her parents' deaths is a very serious thing and she made it seem like it was nothing, I couldn't feel anything whenever she cried while reminiscing about them. The chemistry behind these two was ok I suppose, I didn't really dwell on that I just wanted to end this show as quickly as possible and start a new one, yes you can say I was interested as to how it ended. I found them cute in a few scenes, it was fun to watch but that's all it was. When it comes to the other characters, well I didn't care about them, they didn't keep me engaged and interested in them so I didn't waste time in pondering over what happens to them. Long story short, if you're looking for depth, this show has none, go watch Bloody Romance or The Untamed.
I'm sorry if my review made someone mad, I don't judge people who like this show, after all everyone has a different taste and preference.
