The parents do have superhero abilities. They're protecting their children because they inherited their abilities and some bad guy is targeting those with abilities. I read some spoiler about the villain wiping them out or something. Action scenes will mostly show the parents actually.

Just finished watching episode 1. The beginning gave me creeps. It's the same feeling I got when I watched the horror film "Hereditary". I had to pause and delay watching last night because I got scared. 😅 The story is intriguing. Plus the cinematography is so good. I want to watch more....
