Wai, the walking red flag, is literally the definition of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”…at first…
I agree. His friendship with Pran comes off as really controlling, manipulative and possessive. His reactions are always so overexaggerated and controlling. But Pran's also at fault for enabling his problematic behaviour. I never understood why ppl thought Wai was being a good friend.

I added the original Singaporean ver. to my Netflix watchlist. Haven't found the time to watch it yet. I only recently got into Singaporean series, thanks to these two amazing ones that were uploaded onto Netflix recently, which are - 'Titoudao: Inspired by the true story of a Wayang Star' and Last Madame. Both are period dramas. Do check them if you haven't already. I highly recommend both of these dramas.

They did mention that in the future, if they feel like they have achieved their goal of a complete directory for the existing countries then they would expand to included other Asian countries as well.
There doesn't appear to be a page on mydramalist for the original Singaporean drama. Anyone know how to get one…
MDL doesn't have a directory for other Asians yet. I remember wanting to request pages for movies and dramas from countries other than China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines and Korea but I was directed to a page that said that they wanted to focus on providing a complete directory for the above mentioned countries than have limited or incomplete directories for many countries.
I really liked this drama. It fits the fall-winter mood. The story is definitely intriguing (still had some plot holes here and there) but I wish there was a bit more context provided. However, going by the ending, this is likely to carry on for another season so I guess they purposefully set it up that way. The pacing and acting is on point. Yoo Ah In's acting always hits the nail but the real scene-stealer (for me) was Kim Shin Rok. I loved her performance in Beyond Evil and she was just as amazing. The VFX and CGI were also pretty good. Definitely does not distract from the story. Overall, I really enjoyed the drama,. Very binge-able, fast-paced watch.
