i truly believe he did you know! i mean yeah just imagine they are trying to fool dex
That's what I'm hoping for as well. I truly want to believe they're are about to outclass him in the next ep. I can't accept what happened in the 11th ep
I was gonna drop this drama in the first half but the second half of this season really picked up. RIP Dojin but things really picked up plot-wise after his death with the bombings. They really didn't have to kill Dojin off. I loved his character and his dynamic with the rest of the leads and supporting characters.
Bro could've revealed Dex's identity in that email. He typed all also instructions but dude couldn't say "btw the _____ is dex and he's the one behind all this." Literally would've been one extra line and it's an email so no character limit as well.
Not sure if this is based on a web novel but the show reads exactly like one. It's got all the classic c-drama tropes and it's cliche af. So fair warning if that's not your cup of tea. I personally hate these over-the-top shows but I really enjoyed this one. I guess the timing matched my mood at the time so I didn't mind the bad writing or acting. The leads have good chemistry and the show was quite entertaining. The ending was a bit meh for me but I don't hate it with passion. So if you're looking for one of those makjang dramas with a period setting and great onscreen chemistry from the leads, then this might be right up your alley.
I love how you say the contestants are "boring" yet you here you are spamming the comment section.
I know right. The participants are definitely boring but somehow they've still managed to make it interesting enough. I've mentioned this in another comment while "spamming" the comments section.
It's vague scripted convo setup by producers to create some drama. It's in all of these shows. They put encounters…
Lol the ambiguity of their conversations grated on my nerves. But this is something that I've noticed with other Japanese shows as well. That vagueness and the roundabout way of speaking.
At the end of episode 14 when Hee Soo talked with her dad, did she talk about Bong Seok when she said she got…
Nope. I think she was talking about Ganghoon. Inflexible and boring best describes the version of him that is presented. Plus they did have that heart-to-heart conversation about their parents.
The concept of this show is quite similar to Love Catcher but this is more like a scripted drama whereas Love Catcher almost feels like a romance mystery thriller. I used thriller specifically to refer to that one person in season 2. They played the role perfectly. I had my doubts about this person from the first episode but they managed to convince me otherwise as the show progressed. That last ep really gave me chills. I highly recommend watching this season of Love Catcher for some actual mystery and thrill involving this concept.
MVP of the confessions in ep 11 - Taijou. The way he acknowledged and treated Gabby and her feelings towards him was truly beautiful. If I was rejected with that much kindness and empathy, I really would not have felt all that bad. Instead, I would be happy that I had a crush on such a stellar guy like him. Dude won me over with this rejection XD
I like Robin but I really don't like his whole "My feelings for you are at 65 percent". Wtf was that?! Either you like her or you don't. Stop leading her on. He keeps saying her wants to get to know all the other girls which is perfectly fine but he's also holding Julie down as a last resort. Also Julie makes a really bad wolf XD Her crying all the time is kind of pissing me off now. But I guess in a way it's working seeing as how she's still on Robin's mind. I know she's being sincere but I can't help but see this as a strategy. Would've been better for the producers not to have revealed her identity from the get-go.
Ep 9 - Why did Hanoka ask Julie for her opinion on whom she should ask out on the Sun Line date? What is the point of this? She was so insistent on wanting to know Julie's feelings like she was asking her out on the date. It's your chance to go out with whom you want. There's no need to be overly considerate here. It's as if she needs Julie's thoughts to make her mind on whether to ask Taiju out. It's clear she wants to ask out Robin but only to see if Taiju would join the date and he's her ultimate goal but she doesn't want to step on Julie's toes considering her feelings for Robin. She didn't show all this consideration towards Gabby so idk why she's even bothering now. Just do what you want.
I found myself nodding along watching the show too XD
