I have no doubt this is scripted but it's entertaining....in a good-bad way? I know Japanese people are very roundabout in their way of speaking but this was really confusing. They say the vaguest, random fragmented stuff that makes zero sense to me. I feel like I need a translator for the English subs as well. It doesn't help that the panelists overreact to the most basic things. Their role in this show is mostly redundant but I do appreciate their role in guiding my reactions since without them I would be blinking at most of the conversations because of how vague they are.
Anyone written down their animals? Took the quiz someone translated (in reply to my previous post two weeks back).…
This is the translation for escape parrot -
Your mental age: Warm and splendid 32 years old
Are you a person who: -Thinking jump a powerful and unconstraint style -Beautiful aesthetic talent -Almighty flattering, always able to listen to other people's words
Whether you are facing the abstract works in the museum or the tranquil sea at night, you can feel the dripping and touching of your heart keenly. "Will artificial intelligence worship the electronic Buddha?" This kind of question may also be a topic that you have been thinking about recently and want to find someone to chat with.
You are not very good at revealing your true emotions, and you can catch your friend's implication in the first place.
You who have strong planning and logic skills are also indispensable for gatherings of friends or travel arrangements. With you at the dinner, it is impossible to have a topic that falls on the ground. but you may have to worry about the "dangerous situation that you can't breathe from laughing."
For you love is: Not compromising and accommodating but really “reaching an agreement”.
What is more in tune with you is: -Calm down little turtle -Free Pegasus

Oh I did that and got the same result...escape parrot. XD At first I was like, "Huh...?" but then I read the translation of the result and it was quite accurate hehe.
When I see people commenting about them not confessing or confronting their parents, I am reminded of just how disillusioned people still are especially when it comes to the problems sexual minorities face in conservative countries. I like how the drama presents contradicting perspectives on Sky and Pai's wedding and the situation with Yiwa and Lom. In reality, people still need to resort to cunning measures Yiwa and Lom took just so they can be who they are live the way they want. Of course, in reality, things won't turn out quite so smoothly as they did in the drama but they all got what they wanted in the end. I feel like people feeling disappointed in the fact that they didn't have a big confrontation with their parents need to realize that the reality is not so black and white, especially in conservative societies. Overall, this was a cute drama, nothing novel or anything. I'd give it a solid 7/10. I'm glad they kept it short and didn't add any unnecessary plotlines.
Hey guys, I'm a little confused about the airing schedule....are we going to get 3 eps on Sept 20th or are they going to broadcast the finale the following Wednesday?
It was really really impressive of Daenyeol who confronted Hyun Jin in a very elegant yet very power way...he…
I hundred percent agree. Daenyeol seems like a 'no bullshit' person. I feel like a lot of them made assumptions about him based off the smile he always put on. As he mentioned himself, he's a pacifist but didn't run away from conflict and expressed his emotions and thoughts maturely. He's definitely not without flaws but dude seems like a stellar dude to me.
His Man S2 is one of the best coming out of all the dating shows in Korea. I really liked the majority of the participants and their interactions. I genuinely wish them the best. That conversation they had about their coming out story was one of the most genuine things I've watched on K-reality shows. Coming from a conservative country, it was shocking to me but I just felt sad and frustrated on their behalf.
Also on another note, I really appreciated how all of them just woke up early and went about their day delegating or taking up tasks and preparing for dates like grownups. Additionally, I also like how this didn't turn out to be one person and their harem. Everyone interacted with everyone else and it was really refreshing to see. What I hate about straight dating shows is the harem thing (I'm looking at you heart signal). Every season is the SAME. There's just one pretty yet generic girl and her harem of men. And let me just say these men were average at the most. Single's Inferno was another example.
I really liked Transit Love 2. Lot of drama but cute moments too. But what I just didn't get about the show this was how much the cast would just stay up and drink till dawn literally almost every day. Everyone seemed to have messed up sleep schedules and all the dates would start late afternoon because everyone would be sleeping in. I just couldn't comprehend how majority of them could do this literally everyday. After watching His Man2, I'm relieved to see people having relatively normal lifestyles.
The camping date and SW group chat were the highlights for me this episode. The camping date made me scream into my pillow and the SW's group chat was just so precious. You can clearly see why SW is so popular. He's a really nice guy. All my favourites in one group lol.
P.S. Sorry I'm treating this chat section like it's a blog. Don't have anyone else to discuss this with. Feel free to ignore me hehe.
First off, Omg Omg Omg!!! JS and Sh are killing me with their cuteness!! They way they went the full mile just so they could match outfits on their special date...I'm dying. Ugh. These two are too cute.
Secondly, I loved the conversation between SH and SW and how they went about clearing the air so sincerely and maturely. I really like SW. He's very attentive to others, always the mood maker, and always willing to help others. But the dude's a serial people pleaser and runs away at the first sign of conflict. I wish he'd give equal importance to his feelings and reactions in the future. I love the way recognizes and learns from his mistakes which is why I'm not worried about this dude's future. Also, I loved the JS-SH-SW love triangle a lot because of how honest and respectful they were of eo's feelings. Although, JS is more aggressive (or rather assertive IMO) in his approach he never once stepped on SW toes to reach SH. I can't say the same for the other love triangle.
The HJ-MS-HJin love triangle is giving me a headache. First off, I hate how everyone thinks HJ (Daenyeol) is frivolous just because he's happy-go-lucky most of the time and tries to resolve things positively. I would argue this is what makes him more authentic because he's resilient, authentic and faces any problem head-on. And I love SW for recognizing that in the car. All the ppl SW liked so far have been green flags XD. HJin on the other hand...okay maybe I'm biased from his actions in the previous ep but I just don't like him. Even the way he's pursuing MS is so...oily. He's not just stepping on everyone else's toes but literally shoving them out the way. Also I just don't get why this trio won't just call the people they're interested in. They always end up calling random people. Also, I'm not a fan of MS, I really don't get this dude. He says one thing and does something else. I also think he's only into HJin because HJ is a Ytuber and boy just doesn't want to be part of that 'lifestyle'. He mentioned that he and his ex broke up due to lifestyle differences. And HJ, being attentive, picked up on that then but steered the conversation away. MS not wanting to be part of that kind of lifestyle is fair but that does mean you just turn to HJin. Straight up tell HJ and clear the air first. Also, this might be petty, but the dude is just so boring. HJin and MS deserve eo in a way..lol.
