VA tend to alter their voice just a little bit for different characters. That's why you might only like some of their works. It really depends on the character a lot.
P.s I used to not be able to stand L&R FL also but then I got used to it because their relationship is too precious. And boy do my head only rings 'SIFENG" all the time xD
