You can't be serious. While I can not say I hate this dorama, also don't love it either but HYD is way more developed and one of the best doramas of all time. The two are on just a very different level, can not be compared I think.

Sad to read this bc I found him great as an actor, what you are complaining about is rather bc of the character, if you read the manga you'll see that he's the same not much emotions on his face bc he's the cold, seemingly emotionless one and if you're playing a character like this you shouldn't show much emotion. I think he managed to do it. IMO tho.

asian-goong couldn't have said any better!!! I also love a bunch of serious stuff, not just doramas and I'm also mid-age, but I still like to - as you've just said - dig into these kinds of stories sometimes when I feel the need of change <3
Im not sure if you will like heavy, dark dramas But I would certainly recommend both soredemo ikite yuku and byakuyako
maybe you will like Rich Man Poor Woman, if you liked this, bc of the same wibe, kinda same DoS character and the workplace-love, I think it is a good one
