Oh now I understand what you mean. I also think he simply have a deep voice he use it when he wants to show great emotions, I really like his voice so it didn't bother me at all. I think overaction is not his choice, maybe the deep voice is not either, but rather the director's and it is just how the Japanese do these shows, once you got used to it you don't even notice, only the story you pay attention to. IMO.

Maybe you didn't like the character? If so, I'm not surprised he's a bit the tough one to love, but imo Takeru amazingly nailed performing such a personality for the big screen.

Thank you for the answer, I see things clearer now. I also think it is very important what you say with this, but remember that not everybody gets the same impact by watching it as you. Personally I never got any kind of negative impact from these, they always somehow managed to cheer me up when I was down, this is why I can be so grateful for the creators of these. I never started to discriminate or seeing people other way because of these, I never felt this kind of negative impact that you mentioned on me. But I understand it can give the wrong idea for people, but I believe this is not always the purpose of these, especially those that are adapted from manga, I think they merely just want to entertain. Maybe some has ulterior motives but we can't ever know for sure.

Good dorama, for me sadly it is just this Fukada Kyoko who ruins it, I mean she really does her role well and she's pretty, it is just her personality as a human somewhat frustrates me this is why no matter how I love Kame, because of this factor it was rather a hard ride for me...

I was really surprised by this review, so many things I didn't see the same way as you did. For me this story IS realistic, this is why I can't rewatch many times (I'm the type of person who rewatches anything that grabs me out of reality for a little time....) I mean okay the love part may seem unrealistic but everything else, the suffering while you don't have job, the workplaces the people there, everything felt even too realistic to me.
And I always thought Kame is a good dancer, I don't understand how can you just claim it so simply 'everybody knows Kame is not the best dancer', what is this what is that everybody knows? How do you know what everybody knows, I'm a Kame fan but I never met this information on any side that his dancing weren't any good, he's a Johnny's member, of course he can dance. Here it is just a totally different type of dancing he has to perform, of course as an actor and singer he won't be like a pro but here he performed very greatly I think...

I did not judge you, if you had read it carefully. I said that because of those mistakes your review is kinda invalid to me. Where's the judgement in it? I very rarely judge people since I am also the one who does not like being judged in any way, so I was surprised your accusation...

You can call me a sheep, maybe I am, I am not ashamed of it or whatsoever, the problem is that since you are not a sheep what are you still doing here? I mean if you are not into any kind of media stuff because of your own reasons/principles, why ruining the mood with comments and reviews for those who want to enjoy these things? I really can't believe that you seriously enjoy this, but who knows... I and I think pretty much everybody else somewhere deep down is aware of the influences of the media, still we decide to go on with it, because it gives us something that we believe is good. Maybe it's not, maybe you're the one who is right and we shouldn't do this but it is certainly not something for you to decide, thanks for the advice though.

I am happy to hear your life is better without these, neither have I any complaints about mine which however does include these things (doramas, tv shows, music, ...). Both are okay.

Here again... I can only repeat myself: you don't understand something very basic about shoujo stuff, you really should avoid these stories I think. 'Women doesn't have any brain at all.' - There ARE other stories (eg. good mysteries, detective stories, etc.) that have smart female characters, it is just usually not shoujo stories for obvious reasons. I really don't know what are you doing here, why you didn't dropped it if these things are not your cup of tea. Of course, you have the right of expressing your opinion about it but what is the point in doing so if you are so irritated by that? Basically you have ruined the experience of this (imo) loveable dorama for me, but only for a moment bc I keep like this one and continue to have a good feeling it had given to me whereas you - on the other side - are gonna be irritated by it, worse for you. I hope this all sounded pretty confident to you.

Interesting to see that your expectations are so high, yet you can't type titles and some words appropriately, this makes your review kinda invalid to me. One thing you generally don't understand that it is from a manga and in the world of mangas female characters have nothing to do with women's abuse in society, it is written this way BECAUSE it is written FOR young girls. (Or even you could say for young adults or for anybody who can share those feelings) That means, young girls (or anybody) often have the lack of confidence this is why they can sympathize with the leads in shoujou stuff. This is nothing to with real women's image in the society, it is just a made-up story, besides, it won't do any harm if it even gives courage for girls watching it.
BTW I think there are some stuff where the guy is the dumb and the woman is the smarter, like in HYD and even in animes, mangas that are from other genres.
The actress should be young here, according to the manga, they have an age gap.
