Well, it is your personal taste, of course, I accept and respect that, btw I also very glad to read an intelligent answer as yours, not getting angry or too sensitive about my answer, I really appreciate that, thank you :) May I ask then what kind of actresses you like/prefer? I can understand your point of view about IU being boring to you, as for many people too. I am very much similar as a person so no wonder I am a fan of her, seeing all the similarities on screen makes me feel very comfortable and secure that I am not the only person in this world with a personality like this. I really appreciate that you tried at least with her, but I presume you prefer adventorous and lively actresses, please tell your favorites if you don't mind, I am curious :)
The drama is really great . U need understanding to watch this drama . I really like the story. Don't know…
Well, I understand you, however, other's point of view too. In the world of film/drama/movie making there are objective factors too, that makes a movie/drama great and this in fact leaves many questions, it works with dubious values and sometimes it does not give a solution to a problem that it brought up on its own. Also, near the end, it seemed like the drama started to forget that there should be 10 women that he SEDUCES, in the end he didn't actually seduce them and it is also questionable how the 10 women is actually counted (one of them is Bo Tong, but where did he seduce her? she's the one who doesnt need that as she was already in love with him)... so no wonder one can say it has plotholes and yes, the company's machinations that supposed to be interesting and should stick you to your chair thinking what is happening, who's who and why he doin this and that -- like a good mystery novel -- well those scenes were boring, uninteresting, no questions about it. But! with all of its mistakes, faults, I really loved it, enjoyed it as a typical, cliché-filled lemonade story for the weekend as I (as a person) am as crazy fan of this genre as Botong adores his pretty oppa The way of leading the plot was the weirdest to me, but I agree with anyone who says it's a decent drama on its own, wouldn't recommend it anybody tho, only those who are suckers of romcom like me and pretty faces and some funny jelousies are enough for them to love something <3
wow I really love her acting!! I think you should watch her later performances, as Persona, My Mister and definitely Hotel del Luna, she's waaaaaaay better in them than in early dramas like this. Btw I think she did a great job here too, it is just the story that doesnt bring much to the table... her early roles (this and for example Youre the best) are understandably not that big roles, but she did them so accurately and faithful that I think she deserved better, greater roles such as in Hotel del Luna. I really hope we will see even greater acting from her in the future! <3
It's Spanish so it should be del Luna ... "Of the Moon". The Korean is just phoneticised version of the Spanish.…
It HAS something to do with HER surname since Man Wol is her name and one of that (sorry dunno which) means moon. It is said in the story that her name means full moon, she even writes it with the character moon.
Can someone explain her backstory to me? Like I don't understand her relationship with the other two guys. Lovers?…
Continue to watch you'll understand. Btw both guys loved her but in kinda unique ways. Her thief fellow loved her kinda brother-like but the show then decides to give him the princess in the modern era sooo.. I dunno, I think they couldn't come up with a good solution to this, ah whatever. The other guy loved her truly and it was what she intended to reciprocate too this is why it was sad because fate teared them apart. And of course the fact that her bandit fellas were slaughtered and she decided to get revenge and kept this anger in her heart for hundreds of years.
they're not married. They were dating but broke up after he met his Makino
oh okay then it's a misunderstanding, first I replied to your first comment where you wrote Yukie. You're not the only one wondering about that, I think basically the whole world waits for them to get finally married but there's a somewhat problematic thing with Jun's agency the Johnny's Ent. bc he"s an idol and and in Japan this means a lot more than it does for an average western celebrity but I also don't know about the details and they (the pair) is also very secretive about the whole thing so it's complicated and kinda mysterious really. Maybe purposefully? ? :D Anyway, I also root for them since HYD, they should become a family!! <3 love them both :)
haha, aw, thanks! I haven't actually been writing for a while but I've been considering writing an (updated) article…
Wow guess what! I've just found a blog today in which the writer totally thought they were the same person! (He/She wrote about Mei-chan no shitsuji and was totally convinced that Takeru was the same person as the one acting in Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge.)
Does or has he ever had a female interest? Does anyone know?
It really seems so as if he didn't. Or maybe they're jsut good at hiding it but this year he said in a YT vid he wants to get married bc he's lonely :( I think that kinda serious guy who's very cautious in the territory of love so maybe this is why, but I don't know, he's a very private and modest person, to say at least...
Hmm, maybe you'll like some of his other roles in future. His role as Kenshin was very believable for the character…
He has a quite unique face and with it, I agree it confuses me too all the time bc it seems like he'd act always the same way although he doesn't, it is just he's someone who always draws your attention to himself and if you watch him all the time, it easily seems so as if he acted always in the same manner, but if you pay attention you know he doesn't. I think in similar roles he does seem similar, but to me he was unique in most of his work, noticing that you should watch his doramas bc in them he IS very different. My favourites are in Koi wa tsuzuku yo dokomademo as Tendou sensei, Sahara Natsuki in Bitter Blood and Akiyama Tokuzou in Tennou no Ryouriban. These are a must I think :)
am I the only one who genuinely hated Takeru's character, Gondon Sakon? He was a piece of garbage, he treated women like animals, his only motivational factor was money, he talked about confidence (when fighting with his brother) but I think it was rather ego, he was so full of himself, it really made me hate him which was very confusing since I came to see the movie bc of Takeru. I recently checking up his works and up until this all the roles he took were very clear to me why he took it, but this... I really don't understand what he saw in this one and also want to find out whether the original character is like this or not but unfortunately can't find the manga anywhere. Bc if I knew this was only a role for him, I'd get it totally bc it is another interesting role to play but if it wasn't and he added these layers to the character bc he wanted to, then it'd be a huge disappointment for me, bc I never thought he'd agree with such inmoral and somewhat unprincipled views like these... Btw I should blame the director or the original work for that, I know, this is why I want to find the manga but no traces on the net yet... :(
Uhh I completely disagree on the girl's list sorry, all who was behind, could come top in my list and those who were in top 6 or 7 (except Satomi) couldn't even make in my list... my opinion though sorry.
