I don't want to shade her but that girl can't act, at all. Maybe I'm wrong and she's just type cast because she…
I really don't think she gets roles through relationships but who knows... maybe yes maybe no. But I think these days you have to be able to perform at some level and I think she gets roles, FLs rather because of her average, kinda girl-next-door look AND bc of the mere fact that she can act cute and nice, can cry well and things like that (yeah, so far she is at that level), rather this than relationships. You know nobody would approve her and help her by relationship if she would be really that bad. imo tho
sigh. unfortunately, i agree with this comment so much. i just don't get her appeal at all, especially as a romantic…
wait. how can you say you don't buy the chemistry between her and ML's when you say you have successfully avoided her other shows? So you have or havent't seen her other works? Prince of Tennis imo is really not the best work of her, I think she gets better and better, it clearly seems so after watching her later works.
wow sorry to hear, in my case Song Yiren led me to the whole thing, I find her cute and kind, sorry to hear so many people dislike her, I think she has talent. But anyway we all have our opinions so... :)
Wow I just wanted to write that I watched my very first wuxia called Ever Night and goddamn I love it, also gotta into the genre with it, so thanks for the recommendation of Nirvana, I think after The Untamed that will be the next <3 just so amazing actors and fighting scenes *.*
hellyup <3 I love dramas but sometimes they are so obvious that that button becomes something essential lolll :D btw I saw BOF only once bc I am a huge fan of the original (JP) story (saw the drama, the anime, read the manga) but boiiiiii K version simply suxxx worst hours of my life really... heirs didn't got me the heaven sees I triedd my best really but needed to drop at half, lame, boring, didn't liked the actors nor the characters...
Yasss!! Thanks for saying it out loud how Heirs sucked, I dropped it at half bc I just couldn't bear with it... since then I'm far more into Chinese dramas guess why...
Finally someone said that! Thank you. I feel totally the same. When they weren't a couple - so for about 15 episodes…
congrats. you have successfully misunderstood the whole thing basically. especially the hotel scene. The girl wants it, wants him, she's just shy. Usually that is the case in reality. We wait for the guy to break through the barrier and this show shows it how a guy should take the first step. And there's nothing wrong with that he wants his girlfriend, it is normal. I bet you don't believe me but watch it again pls. First, when they speak about going countryside to his grandma, she says it's not like she never wanna do it with him, it is just too fast at that time. Later on, he speaks to friends telling them they postponed the weekend bc they both felt it is too early. The hotel thing happens much much later, presumably when they both were ready for it. He WAS NOT a rapist, the girl showed hidden signs of wanting him and he, being an attentive guy, noticed them. She never said in one or any sentence she doesn't wanna sleep with him. She didn't repeated anything like that either. Also, when the guy 'steps over', if she really didn't want him she'd probably have shown opposition, like fighting or screaming or simply she'd have told him she doesn't want to. He was always caring and understanding towards her, u seriously think he'd drop this and inconsiderately rapes her? Also, he wasn't abusive ! Nor disrespectful. He always treated her with respect. Abusive he wasn't, he was always calm and collected in a cool manner. Controlling yes, but I think there are cases where someone needs to take control of the situation and he was that only in reasonable situations, not all the damn time. Like 95% he was very loving towards her and he never controlled her, only situations.

What I especially liked about it is that it was a typical, yet introspectively not that typical romcom. For example the lead couple was quite independent in many ways which is not typical in romcoms, independent and also very 'free-thinkers' (=liberal), yet very faithful and commited. It was genuinely light-hearted, no unnecessary sad/dramatic climax (eg. breaking-up and coming back together), when they were together then they were. Also, beautiful actors, nice acting :) even nicer ost, still listening to it <3
Yes yes yes guysss it's all true in reality, but if you guys are not offended by my advice, you should watch these…
I didn't got offended, actually what you wrote shows that you are very intelligent and spot on with relationships, and... so to say very caring about your senses, very self-aware which is a pretty good thing. I agree with you on points how a relationship should be like in reality. The only but main difference is in our way of seeing things. I don't see these things you wrote (grabbing, etc. ) as abuse in this drama. I mean in reality I might consider it like that but you see, a drama is always in a hard position as it wants to please so many people with so many very different desires. Many of us wants to see the manly, kinda macho traits of the ML whoever he is, but at the same time we want him to be smart, intelligent, but not cold-herted, kind and respectful and caring... just too many things, too many of it are contradictional, in reality it can never be all these in one man. So these are obviously only a creation and in order to fulfill the macho-desires (sorry, no matching word for this really xd), in dramas they does these things. I completely agree that for a younger generation it must be clarified how to distinguish between TV and reality, but when it comes to this drama, I think it is just too one-sided from you to say here the ML is only bad bc he shows his good traits too. I also think you are a bit of a worrier coming to conclusions what can lead to what, I don't say that's unreal or something, I'm just balancing. Because it may not lead to things like that, it is also a very real possibility too. We, people can't see the future, only assume, so I always say to observe and take steps only if necessary. I agree that this drama didn't handle everything in the right place but for me it is unimaginable to call it harmful because of that. Especially, what I like the most about this drama that it is just as imperfect as I am, as so many of us, kinda genuinely imperfect in a very humane way, for me this is a major factor why I love this one. Because I am verrrry tired of the many good, more intelligent and accurately elaborated, kinda perfect dramas, although I also love them for being like that, they're as much essential as these kinda 'lame' dramas. It highly depends on my needs and on anybody's. What I'm tryna say is that light-heartedness is just as important as being serious about relationships and this drama is refreshing to watch in so many ways, to call it harmful can't help but makes me think that you are missing (or even don't care to find) its good points. But it has some on its own, although not as many as the above mentioned well-elaborated dramas. However, yes maybe a classificiation of some sort into certain age range is advised but that's on the television companies. But now in these streaming era the younger audience is clearly in the danger zone, but you can't always avoid or save people from bad experiences. If someone believes or even learns these things from these dramas, then he/she is on the wrong way since these are made only to amuse us, that should be said I think. If one person gets these too seriously it is the responsibility of his/her environment to give a warning. But only because this story gives a (summed-up) certain image of a relationship it is not necessarily harmful. Thank you for your comment :)
Thank you for the answer :) Well, yeah I see here this is not everyone's favourite, kinda feel a lil sad about it bc it seems I'm the only one who see this as a little gem, but only in my eyes... but that's okay since we're all can have our own point of view :) depends on taste but I personally can hate other dramas more than others do and interestingly the ones that got bigger hype... it's like I really dont like A little thing called first love and Put your head on my shoulder... I don't understand myself either since they're kinda more intelligent than this one but this got me, I just can't help but love it <3 :)
