I’m currently watching two dramas, *Pull Strings* and *Remnants of Gold*.

Before they aired, I expected *Pull Strings* to be better because it had a much higher budget, while *Remnants of Gold* looked like it would stray heavily from the original novel. But after actually watching them, *Pull Strings* was decent for the first two episodes, only for the storytelling quality to drop continuously - I ended up skipping through a lot, and now around episode 20, I really want to drop it (though I’ve already paid for a Youku subscription). On the other hand, *Remnants of Gold*, despite straying from the novel, turned out to be surprisingly engaging and way exceeded my expectations. The producer seems to have a background in filmmaking, as the drama has that distinct cinematic shoot style.

i have watched the Physical 100 Asian, Physical 100 korean version, iQiyi version, Japanese version, US version, this is the worst from all of them. so bad production quality, it's like you want to record the activity of someone and upload on youtube, but you dont cut anything at all, you upload all 24 hours activity including sleep.
