So, Xiao Yong, First Prince is Xiao Ruo Jin son not his brother. But timing doesn't make sense. Neither he is…
yes, Xiao Ruojin has 9 sons, 5 of whom make an appearance in the trilogy series, the other 4 are perhaps just a useless / minor princes (need novel reader to give more information).
Ancestor (the founder of Beili Kingdom) = Xiao Yi -- about 100-200 years later-- gen 1: Xiao Chongjing (Tai'an Emperor) gen 2: Xiao Ruojin (3rd prince and then became Mingde Emperor) , Xiao Ruofeng (9th prince), Xiao Xie (2nd prince), Xiao Yueli (the only one who still alive, because He is not competing for the Emperor's throne). gen 3: Xiao Yong (1st prince), Xiao Chong (2nd prince), Xiao Se/Xiao Chuhe (6th prince), Xiao Yu (7th prince), Xiao Jingxia (9th prince), and then also Xiao Lingchen (the son of Xiao Ruofeng, who plays key role in TBOY)
12 episodes in, can you spoil me about the emperor. Did he loves his sons and who from palace sided with chuhe?…
of the 9 princes, Emperor's favorite is Xiao Chuhe, but Chuhe persists in defending his uncle (xiao ruofeng) who was accused/deemed rebellious by the emperor, so that made the emperor furious and expelled him from the royal family's lineage. The one who support Chuhe are mostly from the former faction of Xiao Ruofeng, like 4 Tianqi city Guardians.
is it really confirmed that all 6 of those Leads will be back as the main leads? that's too much for recurring characters, we need new, refreshing characters i hope only a few, not all six of them
I need some spoilers. I did watch Dashing Youth but had it on hold and eventually dropped halfway through. I need…
This is my best drama so far in 2025. But if your definition of 'impressive' is romance, then this drama is not for you.
Just by looking at the solo poster, which is clearly not a couple poster, you'll know that romance is not the main focus. The relationship between the two main leads is very subtle; and it leans more toward brotherhood than bromance.
Episode 1 is already excellent, but if it doesn't hook you, I won't recommend you keep watching. After all, there are plenty of romance dramas out there; we have many more choices in that genre than in the non-romance one.

The names Wujian City and Wushuang City seem to be interchanged, which is confusing me. I think the subtitle is wrong and needs to be fixed^^;;
