this is not a remake for sure, it's continuation from season 1, but all the actors and actress have changed, and some stories are modified (for example Xiao Yan still has ring, and Xiao Xun'er doesnt betray xiao yan anymore like the ending of season 1). But the event is still the continuation of season 1, it starts after the 3 years agreement event.

if the actors and actress are your main concern, then you will be disappointed.
it wont as good as the first season for sure,, but why dont you try a few episodes first?

regardless so much negative comments below, i like this drama, not as good as fight break sphere season 1, but still watchable, at least better than the movie version and not too much romance which suit to my taste.
i rarely watch chinese drama lately, dont have much option for me, so apparently i will watch this drama to end.

yes, but with some modification in story, for example Xiao Xun'er is not betraying Xiao Yan anymore like ending of season 1, instead staying in Jianan Academy for the last 2 years.

just watch this, not as good as its siblings (Fights break sphere and the great ruler). very slow pace, too much useless talk and scenes, weird costume, too many flashbacks, too many slow motion, etc
i skip-skip so much.

ep 10 and 11 are boring (that horse demon case), but the rest episode from ep 1 until ep 14, i like it, the lack of romance story is okay for me , because i dont like drama with too much romance. so far so good for me, as i dont have any other drama to watch.
