It’s a decent drama but honestly it should’ve been like 24 eps lol it didn’t need to be that long I kept fasting forward

I think it was a must for someone to die in this drama and it was pretty good timing in my opinion but I was just annoyed that they survived a war but not some dusty ass cockroaches lol but I’m just gonna refrain myself from watching until like ep 50 is out

I'm also intrigued by their romance lol (I watched 8 eps already) and I just want to see where it goes. Ever since the first 2 eps, I already know this drama gonna be absurd like the amount of time where she accidentally falls and he catches her (rolls eyes lol). I think I'll lower my expectations for plot now

I think you should definitely give this a try!
Pros: Badass FL and ML/ the evil characters aren’t overtly annoying besides like one evil sister/ the love story but the leads are great like there isn’t stupid problems in there relationship/ the acting is good
Cons: A lot of cliches especially in eps 18-24 in the royal palace/ frustrating evil sister that’s should’ve died but scriptwriter decides to revive her/ stupid deaths but if u like dramas w/ angst then it’s great

You’re right I shouldn’t have taken it lightly but I was just annoyed at how she recognizes the evil sister and not Li Ge and I was really frustrated throughout those episodes. But you’re right, what I said is really insensitive and I should think before saying so. I’m gonna delete that comment bc it just left a bad taste in my mouth

I did watch UTP and I loved it (I thought the lat few eps could've been better but anyways I digress) I mean he did have a few kiss scenes w/ her but overall in many of the dramas that I've seen him in, he barely kisses (like 5 times tops throughout the drama lol). Like in Destiny of White Snake and Autumn Cicada and Love a lifetime and Glory of the Tang lol there isn't much kissing ;(
