Title A Shop for Killers Spoiler
Why did Jian remember the guy he dated after she removed Brother's mask? I might have missed a detail.
I’m pretty sure Seongjo is the only one who said get enlightenment, sounds like an idiot thing he would say when killing someone. He did cut off the arm, I don’t know if he was at the hospital. I just rewatched the house scene and hospital scene. So at the house was actually three guys, Seongjo, Asian guy with long hair, and the guy who I don’t know. And I know for sure the guy I don’t know and the Asian guy with the long hair were at the hospital.

I don’t believe Jian has ever seen Bale. But I totally agree with you that it’s weird the hyena has something messed up with its eye. But it was Senior who killed Honda. Maybe it’s just symbolism of who the real bad guy is.

No Bale wasn’t there. I know Sungjo was at the house. With some guy I recognized from episode 6, I don’t know if he ever talked. Then at the hospital it was the guy with the long hair (not Pasin, there was another guy, and the same guy that was at the house that I don’t know is name) but I don’t believe Ji An has ever seen Bale. And it was Sungjo who killed Honda by cutting off his arm, remember he did that whole “get enlightenment” crap he did in the he flashback in episode 6.

Have a questions about an odd item they focus on at the end of episode 4. Will post in comment.
At the end of episode for, after that little turd drugs Ji An, sh e collapses and the camera more then once focuses on Brother’s glasses. And from multiple angles. Oddly enough the side too. So am I looking into this too much, or did Brother leave them there in purpose for a reason?

There's NO WAY JinMan would fall for such a lame trick as believing JiAn was being kidnapped by Babylon. But if…
Didn’t we see Jin man’s body go into the furnace? I mean I guess that could have been faked. I mean I see a lot of points for him still being alive. But there are a lot of things also convincing that he is dead. I do’t know what to think, which I guess is a good thing. It would be a shame to figure it out.

I thought it might have been when Brother trapped her underground. It’s not.

Omg I wish. He had such a cute face! He looked so sweet when he came to save young Jian. And then when he was freaking out and being relieved when the gunfight was over at the beginning of episode 6. And his cute smile when he approached Jin Man to drop the keys at the end of episode 6. I really feel like he could have been a good presence to keep around. Then every time Ji A sees the animal (I can’t remember its name) with his arm in it’s mouth, it’s like twising in a knife in my heart! lol

Goodness you made a lot of good points! This is definitely a drama that could be watched more then once so that you could see the clues you missed.

You know I did think the taxi driver and police officer were weird at the time. They’ve slipped my mind since then since we haven’t seen them, which is a good trick on writers part if that was their intent. It seemed like all of the town friends knew the police officer had a close friendship with Jian Man, and the officer knew about what Jian Man was capable of in the past when Jian Man saved his friends as a teenager. Also,, odd that the officer was the one to pick her up and that he brought her ti a particular funeral home. Regarding the taxi driver, I suspected he was somehow connected with the whole murder/assassination world, just like you knew the twins where when they showed up at the funeral home. And it took us a bit to see the twins again. Although I can’t come up with a scenario as to why he would be there, unless it was just to watch over her. And I didn’t even think about the drugs, I totally forgot about the hypothermia in the woods. I’m surprised they didn’t give us anything with the coroner, that part seemed pretty legit.

I’m so confused! I didn’t even know that the guy who got his arm chopped off name was Honda until the OP said it. I did go back to episode 6 just now and saw during the attack where Jian Man called him Juncheol. But I went through the cast list and there is no Juncheol. So maybe it is the same person. So confusing.

I don't get the comments worrying about them not wrapping it up in 2 HOURS, when all the flashback were necessary…
I think it’s possible. Throughout the entire series I feel like we’ve been watching the Babylon group slowly being killed off. So both teams are dead. All there dance electronics are gone. Bale is sending in the last ones he has standing and trusts (besides that other douche bag hanging out on the bridge, I don’t think Balr trusts him not to screw it up) the twins. So pretty much, there aren’t a lot of bad guys left to fight.

I know I am probably a lone on this , But if feels like this is being dragged out. last four ep could have been…
It’s only eight episodes. That’s quite short for a drama. If it was any shorter there would be no back story and no time for the watcher to build an emotional connections with the characters or the characters to build connections. You’d just have people killing each other and have no idea why.

Exceeded my expectations, way better than 'My Name'.
I really liked My Name, but I agree, I do like this one more.

Yeah I agree most of us feel the same way BUT the show needs a villain and villains are almost always immortal…
Exactly. Immortal until the last episode at least lol.

I don’t think he’s that sadistic to have hired these guys to play out this scenario but I do think he’s…
I agree. If he is alive, he wouldn’t have done this to make her stronger. He isn’t the ideal parent figure, but he isn’t cruel. Eventually, they were going to come after the two of them, he had to prepare her for it and he had to make plans so that she would (and maybe him) be able to survive.

From my understanding, he used to work for the mercenary company but then quit. And later he created the weapons…
Yea I kind of agree. Creating a shop for murders would only put you in more danger, not less. I don’t think this was his dream job. I think he set figurative ‘buried treasure’ for his enemies and led them into a trap. My only qualm it took a while to get all the defensive measures up (Brother coming to the surface). And when it came to defensive, Min Hye almost drove off, and again, it took Brother coming to the surface to show where the weapon storage was in the house. Not sure Brother is very reliable when it comes to sharing the defensive and offensive measures set in place lol. I mean couldn’t Jin Man have some guns coming out the ground our something? Dude has a hole underground bunker of weapons and a fortified fortress, but can’t set up a few machine guns underground to take out the approaching bad guys? But it’s a drama, and I guess we can’t kill all the bad guys at one time.

Kind of curious how he got this operation off the ground though. But with only two episodes left, I doubt will get much insight into that but who knows. They have been pretty good at filling in the blanks with flashbacks.

I don’t believe he did. The way he kept listening to the recording was telling that he knew something was up. Also, Jin Man seems like a man of action. He would have gone and saved her. I mean I’m still not positive either way if he’s dead or not. They’re selling it pretty well, but it’s hard to believe him going out so easily and not putting up a fight after putting so many plans in place.

Was Jian away for school when Jinman died? Otherwise, Jian would have met Jeongmin even before the funeral since…
This show is pretty good with the flashbacks plugging in holes. I’m hoping we get another flashback that explains what led to her moving out, whether she actually hit him or he let her. I’m leaning more to him letting her, he’s pretty sneaky that’s one lol.

Although a third, more boring explanation would be that she was going to college and needed to move out. So who knows.

Oh really!? I just edited my comment to add a paragraph, go back and read if you get a chance, but talking about how much we miss in this series.

I never noticed the Polaroid and I didn’t realize Brother was Honda’s brother. I really wanted Honda to last longer! He seemed so nice when he rescued little Jian! And then to see him again in episode 6 made me so sad.

But now that you are saying Brother is his brother that makes perfect sense. I was confused and as to why Jin Man approached Brother as a a young teen. But it was probably right after Honda died. Jin Man knew he had a brother and obviously because Honda died protecting Jian, Jin Man was going to take care of Brother. I really should have thought more about his name being Brother and the significance of it, that he was the brother of someone important in the show.

Thanks for pointing this out to me. I totally had no idea and never came across this in the comments. And somehow never saw the Polaroid in the show, although to be honest it isn’t very clear. There aren’t very many moments with Brother and Honda though, so I can’t imagine it would be very hard to track down. I wonder if it’s when Jin Man goes to get Brother when he is young. I’ll have to go back and look maybe.

I had to go back and rewatch it. It has to do with her ability to take Brother down and her ability to fight. The flashback isn’t about the date it’s about introducing Pasin who teaches her to fight. So the flashback shows what leads up to her learning to fight. The date, her uncle ruining the date, her wanting to move out, the uncle saying she could move out if she could punch him in the face (which she is obviously unable to do), and then her approaching Pasin to teach her how to fight so she could punch her uncle in the face and move out . And the flashback ends when Pasin leaves. So the flashback is about Pasin and her learning to fight, not the date.

This really is a show someone could watch more than once. I’ve gone back to a few scenes and picked up on some things. It does get confusing. They’ve introduced characters in the first episode who died who showed back up in the flashback in episode 6 and I kind of forgot I had seen them before.
