Actually, it was thrown way earlier but it became glaringly apparent in the last episode. The one thing I did…
Eh I was actually referring to the Dahmer show.
On the subject of Somebody; it isn't even that for me. It's the fact that you essentially have a serial rapist that is being glorified while the female characters are either super horny so they drop their brain cells or are attracted to him because of his looks.
It feels like such a fucked up thing to convey. I wouldn't be surprised if some teen girls didn't find the rapist to be "romantic" due to how he is portrayed vs who he actually is.

Serial killer being portrayed as a romantic-type is what killed the series for me. He is a twisted fuck and yet somehow it also feels like that the writer want the audience to sympathize with him.
It seems like the series is either aimed at naive teen girls or is genuinely confused about what it's trying to say and has to hide-behind artsy bullshit.
And it coming out on Netflix few months after another show about a real-life killer that was also glorified to hell, leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.
Only watched Goblin from that list. Loved that show.
All the other.....seem generic and uninteresting as hell. Sucks that the lesser-known shows like Live, Life, My Mister, Mouse, Beyond Evil, Children of Nobody, Nobody knows etc... don't get much spot on compare to the garbage that is only popular because of pretty dudes.
Could've picked a better movie to star in. But I can understand wanting to be more exposed to Hollywood and Marvel is as mainstream Hollywood as you can get.
Just finished the show an hour ago and I can say that this was one of the best shows I have ever watched.
I and my brother actually accidentally watched the show from episode 20 so the "twist" was already spoiled for us so watching the series and seeing Sung Yo Han being blamed was the biggest tragedy of the show. At least at first but the last few episodes just showed how Jung Ba Reum had the biggest tragedy out of any character in the show. The entire "game" was rigged against him since birth. Every one suspected him to be a killer like his father and nobody wanted to really understand him. Even if he wasn't an evil person, in the beginning, having to constantly hear that would've turned him into one. And he eventually did become evil. While his mother and the government people just watched him, not stepping in or pointing out his views or beliefs or anything like that. And when he finally become someone capable of understanding emotions, nobody wanted to understand his story.
Other characters getting happy endings was fine and all but seeing Jung Ba Reum basically being misunderstood was just sad. He was played, thrown, and flipped around by everyone else, and yet he ended up getting the worst of them all; being alone, being isolated, being hated etc...all for the sake of pushing a shitty bill that basically manipulated the entire events. Even if the lady died/got killed at the end, she basically won since the bill ended up passing. Just imagine that the government will basically kill a child before they are even born just because of having some genetic trait.
I haven't watched this yet but from the comments some people were "unsatisfied" with hye sun's acting. As a someone…
I have no idea why someone was "unsatisfied" with her acting. I have only seen her in Stranger before this show and here, she fucking kicked ass and easily seemed to have had the most fun doing so.
Extracurricular was very good, but why a saison 2?I'm more interested by "My name" made by the same director
Do you have a link for where they mentioned that?
The show, while ending on a cliffhanger, doesn't seem like it needs season 2. They already told the story. I can't really see anything after the last episode and even the "cliffhanger" basically has clues that tell you that both characters got away and probably survived.
This is Netflix, they have to appeal not only kdramas fans abut also fans of your usual tv show. They already…
That implies that these types of shows are boring even though I personally think that they sound a lot more interesting then a fluffy romcom that has been done to death already.
Maybe K-Dramas are famous for romcom but I personally prefer the more creative/serious/thriller side.
I am sorry if I am flooding this comment section. I am currently watching the drama and I can only think of writing…
>I just hope that people can watch a male and female and be okay if it is this special yet nothing romantic or sexual, especially if it's like My Ahjussi.
Keep watching. I would love to have a discussion with you once you finish the series.
As for now; their relationship is neither romantic or sexual. Once you have finished the series, I would like to expand upon why people feel they belong with each other.

This series is also by the writer of My Mister. I'm sure it will be something slow and yet meaningful slice of life show.

I didn't even know about the actual post-credit scene. Just saw your comment and went back and checked it.

Don't judge the series just based on what people are saying. Watch it.

But yea, I can't imagine 2 seasons long romcom let alone 3 seasons hahaha
