this one had some insane lines like “he’s my life line” and “i can die for his sake”…absolute loved the emotions displayed but still feel like yang yangs character got cheated so it’s a good 8.7 ig

i think what makes this so special and countless other copies that come after a complete shit show that can’t hold a torch to it is that this show falls into the genre of magical realism where the fantasy about the world isn’t upended by unnecessary incessant expository dialogue. You’re drawn into the world and every thing is such a mystery almost like fairytale or folktale in this case but still remains grounded through comedy and characterization.

ps2 graphics looking stuff…idk i’m not particularly fond of xianxia cgi either way but this another one of those which is just bad to me atleast

surprised at how incredibly star studded this show was….love the poignant message but most people who kill themselves quite literally have no one

it’s conflicts are contrived…being deaf is not merely a plot device to thrust your main character forward in a story it’s really insulting to say you feel bad because your deaf family can’t listen to music

what pisses me off is the supposition that deaf people can’t listen to music which is then curbed by the 3rd ep….the entire plot is contrived and specially conceived so deaf people are seen as pitiful
