Finished ep 26 and I want to scream, Noooooooooooooooooo.Haven't been this invested in a drama and its characters i a long time.

I watched this out of curiosity, mostly for the SciFi and Leo Wu, I saw him first in nirvana in fire then far away love and I have to say he is growing into an amazing actor. Lu Hans face seemed familiar but couldn't place it until I read he stared in witness, his acting didn't stand out as much to me as it did now. I'm actually blown away.Now the drama. Just to say that I'm spending this weekend binge watching it. On ep 24 at the moment and loving each and every second of it. This drama is beyond my expectations, the characters, I'm a sucker for well written characters and character arch and this doesn't disappoint. And the mystery element is just intriguing, Why did the 1coin team disband after winning? Why did the future Xiao Feng disappear? Does it have anything to do with Xu wei? And if it turns out that something vad happened to Xiao Feng I don't know what imma do.

I loved that scene.
What really moved me was when Sang Tae said he was needed. Someone needed him for his talents. That really put a smile on my face and for Gang Tae he wasn't needed to take care of him and is free to live his life.
I just loved that.

Completed this and I am in love with this drama. One of the best this year. The most intriguing relationship for me wasn't btn Gang Tae and Moon young,but btn the brothers.
Seeing their relationship grow from grudgingly and somewhat toxic interdependence to one of understanding independence was just heart warming.

If he has a child with her the family gets more powerful as they have a direct line to the throne. But still the consort has a short end of the stick. Considering the fact that she loves him.

It is fun. But most of time my brain doesn't want me to have fun.

For her case they blame her for not catching the princes's attention. Like how ridiculous is that?
They were both forced into a marriage that both of them didn't want and she is the one blamed that the prince doesn't love her.

The subs in iqyi refer to yi kang as the king instead of the prince? So subconsciously I refer to the consort as the queen. I meant yi kangs first wife.
And how could her brother and almost everyone blame her for not having a child when the prince wont even spend a night with her? How is that her fault?

All in all the drama is enjoyable In truth I hate when my brain goes "waaaait a min."
And its a fight btn wanting to enjoy and noticing all the similarities or plot holes.
There is a multitude of strong women in the drama, each in their own way. I'm really like the queen.

So princess weiyoung with a bit of princess silver? There are slight differences but the overall plot is similar.
Take the place of a dead sister where our heroin meets an evil cousin? Check.
Meets and fall in love with the man she hates? Check.
Meets and fall in love with a stranger who turns out to be the man she is supposed t marry? Check
The brother falling in love with the girl who is secretly in live with his brother? Check
And a small rant from me, 18 ep of trying to catch a bad guy and they don't even catch him? That was so anti climactic. Are you telling me tha li Ge gave up after lu yuan got demoted? She wanted to kill him? She put her life on the line, got poisoned( and come on she was tarined assasin whi didn't know she got poisoned?) And now she is satisfied? Ok ok lets put it to a change of heart and not wanting to drag and hurt the shens. But she still wants to kill yi kang? Wont that hurt the shens more?
Some times I tell my self I should really stop asking questions if I want to enjoy a drama.

Ok that explains it. I tried to find redeeming qualities in the character but it was hard to find. So what does this character supposed to teach in the mythology? How to not be like him?

It in the top airing but not airing. June 25 came and went. When is the next rumored air date?

Yeah that one. Artistic vision? Is it a tragedy? I do believe those can be done well if done right, But something tells me this wasn't?
I really hate it when good actors are done dirty by bad scripting and editing.
Can I ask where can I find the alternate ending?

Have only seen eagle flag. Planning on watching the one with Zhang Ruo Yun. Was impressed with him in joy of life now looking into his earlier works.
Also very excited to see Yang Mi again.

Yeah heard about that. But heard they were making a drama from the original source with Yang mi? When is it coming out?
