I actually believe watching the show during live airing hurt the experience more, and binge watching is probably the way to go.
After watching an episode, and seeing the negative trajectory, many of us held out hope next week's episode would be better, only to be further disappointed. And that's the problem with live airing, when a show is good, watching during live airing, increases the hype and experience for a show. When a show is bad, all live airing does is make the watching experience and negative hype even greater due to allowing the festering wound dealt by the show to continually grow and infect other POV's towards the show.
It's like eating a bitter medicine, slowly and extending the arduous process versus just drinking the whole thing in one shot.
It's also probably much easier to move on from the show if we didn't spend the last month getting attached to HJP vs watching the show in 1-2 days of binging.

To be honest, no matter how many times I rewatched that scene, I can't blame HJP at all.
His words did not even have any cocky attitude or tone. It was just matter of fact. He pointed out a flaw in Yong San's brother's project that was a pretty large one.
Yong San's brother killing himself could have more to do with the brother not wanting to face his family because he became a failure and lost all his money.
Arguably, if Yong San's brother had a proper mentor, he would not have taken this path.
That scene shows the dark side of start ups, where a simple mistake can cost you the whole business. Like NDS breaking the Morning group's chairman's nameplate is such a mistake. The only fault of Yong San's brother is he isn't the ML, so there isn't some lucky fairy godmother that will save him every time he makes a mistake. And that is very realistic. When you enter sandbox, you enter fully knowing there is risk with what you are doing. Unless your the smartest person in the world, and all your projects succeed.
In current society with all the suicides, it is easy to blame the harshness of people, but in reality, harshness will never go away. When someone has a bad day, they immediately pass on their anger to another person, it's an unfortunate part of human nature. So rather than try to fix something beyond our control, we need to work on what we can control. And the things that help protect our mental health from the harshness of life, is having a solid foundation in the form of family, friends, and self appreciation. It's also good to find a mentor in a tough industry, and set variable goals that are not set in stone. Also, if you are having difficulty, therapy should not be seen as taboo anymore in Asia.

I mean, you have to remember Kpop stars get direction on almost all aspect of their lives. From what they wear, what they can do, where to go and etc... So when it comes time to transition to acting, they are so used to having someone tell them what to do, that most lack that inner unique identity to make the role their own. So often times these kpop idols will just literally read the lines on the script. A true actor/actress, due to their acting background, will normally make the role their own, and potentially even ad-lib certain scenes.
Next pop star turned actress will be Jisoo in Snowdrop, if she sucks in it, she will just add fuel to the stereotype, if she smashes the role, then she'll be the exception to the rule.
But in regards to Suzy, I've only ever seen Start Up and I feel she lacks a lot of micro expression. Her face feels so bland during the close ups. I feel like half the time she's very conscious about looking beautiful and avoid expressions and movements that would not be considered graceful and pretty.
But the truth of the matter is, a lot of these so called Hallyu stars can't act at all. But that doesn't stop them from being Hallyu and popular, mostly because of their good looks and visuals.
So, why should they bother getting better at acting if they are still popular regardless of it? In fact it just becomes a waste of time. In the beginning Suzy's character SDM showed that she was quick witted, innovative, cool in the face of pressure, independent and an empath.
Somewhere after the initial episodes, she dumped most of her early characterization to be, slow witted, dense as a rock, dependent on men, panicky, apathetic, and generally bad at her job, constantly making mistakes.
And, your right, after the first few episodes, she became a prize for both HJP and NDS. But to be fair to HJP, he never made SDM dependent on him, instead wanting her to figure out things on her own so she can grow. NDS on the otherhand went full on helicopter parents, and did not want to give SDM any space, constantly following her like some puppy until she said yes.
NDS wanted SDM as his prize, because SDM gave him purpose. Prior to SDM, NDS did not know who he is, or who he wanted to be. When he met SDM he realizes his dream is to constantly do whatever SDM tells him to do. His dream is to make SDM his dream, and to make her his goal. Some girl, may like this, but I personally find it too clingy and stifling. Basically NDS wanted SDM to his parent who can be proud of him and his accomplishment, he wanted someone to pat him on his head and tell him the good job he is doing.
HJP on the other hand, wanted SDM, not so much as his prize, but to be his family. For someone who has lived most of his life without one, being together with the person who gave him comfort all those years ago is his one wish. Someone with which he can share his dreams with, someone that will help HJP grow and come out of his shell. He also wanted to help SDM reach her full potential, he wanted to be her support group without being too in her face. Basically HJP wanted to pursue a romantic relationship.
