How I wished I knew some insiders who could spill the tea about where this drama is going, lol. Three weeks suddenly…
Let us be honest with ourselves.
The storyline of WIJ, SDM, NDS, Saha, Cheul San, Yongsan is pretty much set in stone. I could probably write my predictions for their storyline and i'd be at least 75% accurate.
The only two remaining unknown storylines are that of Grandma and HJP. Try as we may, we can only guess at how their story will end. And for me that is what keeps me watching. I don't care about those other characters I mentioned above, since their story for me has already ended, has already been decided.
It's these two X factors in Grandma and HJP, I am itching to find out. We are all hoping for a good ending for HJP, but can any of us seriously imagine how his ending will be a good one? I can't, so i'm relying and hoping that the writers are more creative than us to give us a decently satisfying ending for HJP.
So you are saying if KSH was cast as NDS you would love NDS character??? Okayyyyyy.
I mean, even in when the camellia blooms, his portrayal of a nerdy, doofus, but sweet cop was amazing. And I agree, he was always teetering on the edge of ridiculousness, but he managed to pull it off. He bag quite a few awards for his role too!
I totally think he would have nailed the NDS role better.
I'm no writer or PD, but one thing I would have done to help NJH sell his role of NDS more would be to have more scenes of introspection. Show him getting lost in taught, and having people repeat what they say, or have him look sideways before making him answer questions. His lack of emotion during his lying scenes made him look like an emotionless robot and became hard to relate to.
In comparison, the look of trepidation and uneasiness in Grandma and HJP faces were pivotal in making the audience relate to them.
Damn girl! do you even sleep? you are practically living on this webpage. if you are addicted to the point of…
Thanks for the injection of confidence!
Yeah, I ramble even in real life lol. Like, I love to talk to people, but this whole Covid-19 has made me quite isolated and a little bit lonely.
And when I talk or I write, I'm not really proof reading my words, it's all quite unadulterated and most of the time I'm shooting by the hip. And sometimes it may cause some people to be offended.
I do love satire and sarcasm, but my brand is not for everyone. I already know I have my share of haters on MDL, but it doesn't affect me, I have a pretty thick skin.

I am low key addicted, I am not going to lie. I can't wait for this show to be over so I can move on to my life... at least until the next Kdrama I'm invested in comes along.
I blame HJP here. I am so invested in how his story will end.
I have been thinking about a blog for a while, but I don't have much faith in my writing, I feel I come off as too colloquial, and I tend to ramble.
He is indeed. I am glad i am not the only one noticing his scene and his talent of microfacial expression, even…
I agree, this is my exact line of thought as well.
The thing is NJH is lacking in this department. He constantly looks perplexed, even when he isn't suppose to be. There are times when he is suppose to show his confidence, but we never see a change in his gait, facial expression or what not. Look no further to when he stands up to WIJ. It is no more different to face when he is talking to any other people.
The thing i've noticed ever since watching Kdrama is the importance of Micro Expressions.
Fast paced action, suspense, mystery shows don't need micro expressions as much, but heavy drama ones do.
The amount of close ups on each character, plus all the hidden emotions being portrayed is sometimes lost in translation in the writing. But when the actor is brilliant, and is able to convey the smallest emotion with their eyes, hands, face, it really breathes in a lot of life in the character they portray to the point that even though the writing is confusing, the characterization is not.

well, it wouldn't work, because NDS character is suppose to be younger. I think Kang Ha neul would have done a better job because his micro expression is quite impressive as well.
I'm a DS fan but i never ever argued with opinions and delusions like what you presented us to be like. Now I'm…
A generalization is not nothing. A generalization is merely a different viewpoint on a particular subject matter, it is neither wrong nor is right.
When people give their opinion, they are not espousing facts. Although they may use actual facts to back up said opinion, the opinion in itself is not a fact, thus it's called an opinion
Fair enough, I don't mind your defending NDS fans, that's your right. But just to be clear, my statement was meant as satire towards the more aggressive NDS fans.
Every fandom has it's bad apples, yet the bad apples are always at the top of the barrel, and makes the whole barrel seem rotten.
Honest question though. When one defends a side or group that is wrong, does that make the person defending wrong because it makes it appear that the person doing the defending is in actually siding?
No problem, it was just an observation. I mean I don't mind replying to your comments.
:-(

And KSH star has shone brighter because he is casted with these two stars, so he is thankful.

If HJP didn't intervene, NDS would not be with SDM.
And i'm actually not salty at all, just making conversation.
I'm just saying, often when we write comments, we are speaking from personal experience, or relating the current show with our personal experiences.
If it's something you want to talk about, we can. If you are uncomfortable, then that's also ok. No pressure.
let it go is pretty generic I think, just like Arnie's i'll be back
>.<

I could benefit from some tighter writing.
