She was cool as as a cucumber in the first 2 episodes. But of course, we can't have more than one strong female…
She was shown to be cold, and scorned. She never even got the answer why he left her, and suddenly she's madly in love? Like WTF?
Now, she's being portrayed as a hysterical female. Which is really sexist that they can't show a woman caring for another man without being who they made Hanna to be?
someone here said he isn't really his son, like adopted or something. Not sure now.
A fellow Boonie! Welcome!
Yeah Geok Chan has really impressed me. Why all the characters have become highly caricaturized characters, Geok Chan is actually selling me on him being a loyal NK soldier. The actor is really bringing it.
Take away Geok Chan and the whole hostage situation becomes 10x more boring.
The show will most likely show that he is conflicted due to convictions. But then he will later lose it, then fall in love with YR fully, and etc etc etc....
Why did Sooho’s father laughed when the agent informed him that Suryeon asked their spies to be killed which…
The politic side is pretty weak and doesn't affect the plot much.
For example, I was hoping the stepmom had made some poisoned food, since it was exactly 13 pcs of food. But instead it's wasted. At this point all the politics stuff is just filler.
All you need to know is that the writer are going to find a way to make the romance believable in the remaining episode.
Two things.Either she's so high up, they don't recognize her.Or she is actually not Moran Hill one and is actually…
You see, the "New Instructions", actually keep all the hostages safe and keeps the other two NK soldiers in line, making sure not to kill any hostages anymore. So that threat is gone.
It's utterly poor writing and just eliminates all the suspense, but that's the avenue the writer chose. I am guessing this also opens up the remaining episodes to concentrate on the forced romance.
So if you view it as satire, then nothing needs to make sense.
Actually the controversy can still be seen. But no need to talk about it.
It's only significant to me for two reasons. Either it's a bad luck number.
Or it represents Jesus and his 12 disciples.
Is there a Korean meaning for 13?
And 13 if those pink buns.
Not very good satire. The comedy is neither deep or nuanced.
It's just slapstick and cartoonish at this point.
I dare the writer to do it ☺️
If the writing is forcing the Romeo and Juliet thing, then this thing can come to play.
It could be given to Young Ro and Soo Ho, so that both their father's will think they are dead, then they end up in some other country.
The End.
Then they live happily ever after :)
I believe Cheong Ya was actually sent to defect Taedong River 1 who I think is Soo Ho. Or the other way around.

Stahp it!

Most likely we won't have a wedding scene in EP. 16 :(

Paper airplanes, away!
