7.9? Ugh smh my head idiots i love it so far the second episode is epic! anyone Else smile so big when the one…
I didn't understand this part, did she accept his proposal, or was it just a gift, or did she just yoink the ring? The way the solder was acting, it seemed like a marriage proposal.
Then why is she going on group dates, and appears to be searching for other mates?
the political portion is meant to be satire I think but when that's the only portion that's satirical and everything…
I assume they are trying to go for that harsh change of transition similar to the movie City of Life and Death, where things are great and innocent, then later the worlds collide and the innocence get's taken away.
Personally, I also feel the transition is not as smooth.
To give you an example of a smooth blending of grave circumstances and fun/whimsical foreground is a "Life is Beautiful"
Specially in the first episode, I get too much of a harry potter feel, and it's jarring when contrasted with the cartoon villains.
Yoo In Na playing supporting role, breaks my heart...she is a leading lady...I have a feeling that she is a real…
I completely agree, I never understood why in her a career she's always been the second lead or supporting role. Also I noticed she hasn't had a role where she was "Ugly". She's always playing these pretty roles, I think quite a few of her dramas has her portraying an actress of some sort.
From my experience with these mole type of genres, the writers tend to always have another mole that will act as a surprise. So I am guessing one of the characters we are already seeing will also be a NK spy. My money is personally on Jang Hanna, it seems like her boss is incompetent, and it would have been easy for her to infiltrate the agency.
I agree, a death for one of the main characters would make sense. This isn't CLOY, it's not a rom-com, so more than one death here would make sense. Plus the addition of Romeo and Juliet in the first episode is probably foreshadowing.
I am 70% through EP 1. I feel there is pacing issues. Some parts are dragging quite longer than needed.I find…
kind of which is why I don't feel Kdrama can reach the prestige Kmovies has reached.
Even squid game is only 10 episodes.
But I understand Kdramas need more episodes, so there will be more opportunity for product placements, which amounts for a decent chunk of the funding.
But so many Kdramas I've seen would benefit from maximum 12 episodes at 1 hour each, but yet always find a way to extend it to 1 hour 15-30 minutes, over a span of 16 episodes.
I enjoyed the older dramas that rarely went over 1 hour per episode, and even those had it's filler/draggy scenes.
people should just not rate it until they finished it, but MDL always likes to jump the gun. The true rating will normalize 1-2 months after the dramas finish airing.

oh lord... i've seen many of the newer dramas, 20 episodes is just WAY too long for any drama. The writing tends to be great for the first 8-10 episodes, then it's like the writers run out of material, and the writing takes a sharp nosedrive with tons of fillers.
90 minutes for 16 episodes still feels really long. I'm already anticipating a lot of filler scenes, or dragged out scenes.
The ANSP scenes I found were quite interesting, I am loving the portrayal of Jang Hanna, she's such a badass!
I'd also be interested in seeing the dynamic of the wives and the mistress, reminds me of one of those Daytime soaps.
The e-peen contest between the guys I can do without, such toxic masculinity, and the way they gave the president a cartoonish villain laugh, I can do without, really takes away a lot from those scenes.
Speaking of disney, they are guilty of whitewashing certain characters. And lots of people have signed petitions…
You said I was unfairly blasting Disney as being an evil company, and I merely linked some information that they are not as nice as you think.
Like I said I didn't disagree with everything you said, in terms of splashing onto Kdrama, a cast like Snowdrop, and the popularity of Jisoo will do it.
I merely stated if you think Disney doesn't care about it's reputation over the almight dollar, you have another thing coming. Bad reputation, a deviation from it's brand is WAY more important, than one Kdrama with a popular Kpop band.
Also, corporations have been known to drop serious cash to clear itself from public controversy. So if Snowdrop really causes it's brand to be damaged, their going to take that monetary lost.
Having said that, Disney didn't cancel Mulan, nor did they cancel any of their whitewashed shows, so I doubt they care about dropping snowdrop, over what I feel is a minor controversy.
No bearing on history at all.
Complete fiction. Any association is meant to be coincidental
Then why is she going on group dates, and appears to be searching for other mates?
I haven't seen any of his dramas either.
I mean look at Lee Min Ho for example, he is a handsome man, but has literally one look across more than 10 kdramas.
What is DP?

Will have to see more episodes to see if she develops depth.

Thanks for the input. Have fun on your witch hunt, and deep seated angst.

you do you my friend :)
I almost didn't recognize her due to her hair color, but that is her.
But you seem to know the info, but don't want to share it, so that's your call.
I make opinions. Are they always right? depends who you ask, but they are my own opinions, and I will keep making them as I see fit.
Why would I stop just because posters like you don't like reading it? I am sure many people value my opinions, so I will continue to write.
