Heβs a fencer like HD. They meet when she goes on a match trip.
Phew..... Kim is the most common last name in Korea, and surprisingly nobody on 25-21 has the last name Kim, apart from Kim Min Chae. xD Writers are dedicated to the suspense! :P
Iβm glad this show aired super early this year cus can you imagine if it aired the same time as Our Blues with…
Yep, tvn's 25-21 is right up against 39 and FLAW from jtbc, so tough competition already. I think that's all for quarter 1. Quarter 2 will be topping between Our Blues from tvn AND My Liberation Diary from jtbc. Bloodbath! π₯ Our Blues has a slighter edge because of a bigger ensemble, but MLD's writer is more critically acclaimed! Slot-pickers know what they're doing. 25-21 is winning rating-wise rn, i spose? :"D
Oh hey Maid-Sama & Skip-Beat fans... I see you! ~ Meanwhile, here... I wait everyday for a 'Autumn's Concerto' and 'MARS' remake news! T_T While I'd like to definitely see all these wonderful/ nostalgic stories served with a distinct Korean flavor... I do think original screenwriters are become lazy with each passing year, relying on adaptations! :P
What an aesthetically pleasing and fun article! <3 <3 This is RIGHT in time for 25-21!! π He's playing a swoony dreamboat there! :')
Edit: I'm hoping to get the Bingo on the top left - bottom right diagonal. Flannel shirt: Start Up (already watched)... Water Connection: Weightlifting Fairy (already watched)... so I hope to dear God, we get him give the tiny & feisty Kim Tae-Ri a piggyback ride in the currently airing 25-21! ^^
I think they really missed a HUGE af opportunity by NOT asking the makeup dept to 'age-up' Kim Tae-Ri as a 40 y/o in 2021. Casting another, older actress was such a mistake. -_- She's one of those rare, magical creatures who can convincingly play characters 15 years below and 10 years above her actual age...
[Also, can you understand the anticipation of us viewers to see NJH as an older Yi-Jin in 2021? Now that it's a different middle-aged actor, I'm not AS invested, lmao!]
Excuse me, but do you mean to say that this drama was inspired by Jaurim's 25-21? WHAT?Because if that's the case,…
The fact that they used this song in the second episode, & it is also being called the 'title' track of the drama... I'm sure it can't be a coincidence, unless the writer lives under a rock, lmao! xD It's an obvious ref. to the song, and I wish they marketed it as such! :/ :/
Swoon finally release that iconic faucet runaway tunnel scene. Jaurum 2521 playing as the backtrack really elevated…
Excuse me, but do you mean to say that this drama was inspired by Jaurim's 25-21? WHAT? Because if that's the case, then SHOULD HAVE PROMOTED AS SUCH! It's such a beautiful song! Cannot. Believe. It. Such a missed opportunity! T_T
This is the second time Netflix has acquired a drama based off a singer's song. [referring to First Love, Hatsukoi (by Utada Hikaru)]. Damn. Netflix has *elite* taste! π
am i the only one thinking that heedo chatmate is not yi jin but the one who she will end up with
Well, then that's a major cop-out. Can't believe NJH is AGAIN starring in a drama with a FL who has an 'anonymous pen-friend'. Wow! xD Can NJH actually get the girl this time without major fan-wars? Would be epic to see. I'll also love it if they can subvert the love-triangle... and the chatmate turns out to be.... a Girl! <3
I feel like Park Ji Hoo= Beth, since Beth was really musically talented (the arts) and I feel like her character…
Yeah, they could have smooshed the two characters together, except Beth was a genuine sweetheart, and Amy not so much. And both had unique r/l with Jo... so I wonder how they would do that. How is Jo x Beth even a thing if Beth isn't killed off? Ugh... so many questions! ^^
So.... going by the ages: Kim Go Eun= Meg, Nam Ji Hyun= Jo, Park Ji Hoo= Amy [Beth not casted] & Wi Ha Joon= Laurie, Kang Hoon= Professor Bhaer? [he's too young imo, but let's see]π
Yi Jin keeps drawing a line between him and Hee Do, "high schoolers date high schoolers and adults data adults"…
Yeah, I don't think of Yi Jin as an adult as much as I think that he's just been forced to grow up overnight. Which is why at 21 (Korean Age 22), he comes across with a far more somber, and adult vibe, than his other peers/ friends do! :') He's still a kid at heart, and he gets to be that around Hee-Do, and I think that's wonderful... romance-aside! :D
If Kim Min Chae is indeed Yi-Jin's daughter.. I will kill whoever kept him away from her life. Even if it's Hee-Do (or her mum). Because all Yi-Jin wants in his life is to have a happy family for himself. π

Seems like tvn's 'Our Blues' & jtbc's 'My liberation Diary' are in competing slots from 9th April onwards... damn, April will be lit! π₯
First look is out, you guys!! <3
