Yo, happy to answer all novel related questions :D- Can someone tell me what happening to 12th door ? Is 12th…
Yep, those doog ghosts got tired of acting like his enemy. One of my FAVE lines in the whole novel is where Nanzhu is alone in the Door World for a while, having not regained his memory yet, and he wakes up one day and punches one of the ghosts onto the floor, off from where she's squatting above his bed π telling her not to do that anymore. I LOVE his character, he's so jdgaf π
And I agree, Cn censored BL's generally carry more emotion and intensity than BL's and LGBT shows from other countries. There's a certain magic that they capture in their scenes, characters and stories, even without the overt physical side of things. As for a confession, maybe it was just me, but I feel like The Spirealm pushed the boundaries on 'confession' a few times. The things Lanzhu and Jiushi say to each other at certain points are definitely too weighty to be platonic.
For those who didn't see the official The Spirealm MV posted on Twitter or only saw part of it, I've uploaded it to YT in full quality: https://youtu.be/gJnW5_PG3Ak *For those who haven't watched the complete series, this MV contains SPOILERS.*

That part is not made too clear in the novel. In 'The Little Prince's Rose' Nanzhu says: [...roses that passed the Twelfth Door would be taken out of the garden, and all the other roses would forget its existence.]
I assume 'taken out' means to die, he removes them from life/existence. Of course, since we see that the 11th door brings people back as allies or enemies, it's possible that for a temporary period of time, he uses those who die, in order to bring them back for the final stage of someone they knew. But after they're use has passed, he removes them from 'his garden' which is his world, so they're really dead in the door. And when they return to their reality, they soon die there too. Like some Final Destination stuff πunavoidable death!
Yeah, the love is blind trope can easily be done badly, but honestly, Chinese BL's seem to nail this trope every time. Some of the biggest lovesick simps exist in Chinese BL novels, and I love them ππ
This is just purely my guess, I think they're supposed to be close to the actors actual ages, so Lanzhu admits he's 24 in episode 8, and Jiushi admits he's older than Lanzhu in a later episode. Since HJJ is a year older than XZG irl, Jiushi is possibly meant to be 25 in the show. A year older than Lanzhu.
Well, if you think his acting like a damsel in distress here is enough, just wait for when he infuriated Xia Rubei…
Yeah they really did their best trying to add bits and pieces throughout the show, hinting at it. I'm amazed the showrunners were brazen enough to keep the crossdressing in the show at all, knowing how strict the censorship is (then again, the show did get pulled off air because it crosses censorship lines quite a lot LOL π) I like the hints, though, they were subtle but fun, like the phone call reference, I laughed so hard picturing that scene in my headππ

Well technically, they are in control of whether they survive the 11th door. If they survive it Nanzhu would then wipe their memory and send them back to their reality with no knowledge of the Door World, hence why no one talks about passing the 12th door, but if they die, they die.
Bu keqi, glad to help :) Yep Qiushi really hit the jackpot π Nanzhu retired from godhood just to be with him. That's some real devotion to love π
Well this just blew my damn mind. Seeing Xia Zhiguang do something involving Mo Dao Zu Shi and hearing Xia Zhiguang say Wei Wuxian's name and listening to him voice Jin Zixuan is just........π€―π€―π€―π€―π€―π€― https://twitter.com/littledeath10/status/1781752457544048966

It's not addressed directly how the members of Obsidian know about Baijie, if that's what you're asking? The censorship wouldn't allow for any proper explanation of Lanzhu having a crossdressing hobby, so it's just implied all the members of Obsidian knew by making them laugh when LDY whips out the photo of Baijie. Even Jiushi seems to know, possibly because he knew Lanzhu used the fake name Baijie and he put two and two together with the picture and outfit, or we can take it as implied that they told him about it after he joined Obsidian. Chen Fei also vaguely refers to Lanzhu's frustrating crossdressing in later eps.
But that's about it. The only 'explanation-ish' for Baijie in the show, is that Lanzhu crossdresses as a favour for a friend, and so he obviously is meant to have ended up entering the door in his Baijie drag a few times and people learned of him (her) that way and maybe some pictures got circulated.
The leave fans to kinda gotta fill in the blanks due to censorship where things are not clearly addressed π
Who is Novel Reader here ?I already finish read the novel and currently read the extra chapter title Shameless…
Yo, happy to answer all novel related questions :D
- Can someone tell me what happening to 12th door ? Is 12th exist or not ? Or is 12th door RNZ? [The 12th door does not exist, Qiushi states as much in chapter 139 (Back to the Beginning). And Nanzhu also states it (in a different way) in chapter 149 extra (The Little Prince's Rose). The 12th door is basically to reach Nanzhu himself, at the end of the challenge of doors, at which time the players fate is up to Nanzhu. Basically, die or forget.
- Is RNZ an NPC or human ? [In the book, Nanzhu is a God of the Door Realm. He is real, not an NPC. He refers to himself as an NPC as he's regaining his memory because up to that point he'd be using that terminology to refer to the Door World with his fake memories. Considering he'd wiped all his memories of being a God to meet Quishi, he obviously picked up that term from other door crossers, maybe even from Qiushi's life as the leader of Obsidian before the memory wipe. But he's a real being, he's not an NPC. There is no video game in the novel, the Door World is an alternative reality.
- Does LJS know or not ? [At the very least, Qiushi seems to know Nanzhu is not human, and that he is from the Door World. Nothing else is addressed or made clear, because I don't think Qiushi cares, he just loves Nanzhu, however/whatever/whoever he is.
- And what about storyline that LJS become lead er of Obsidian ? Is that real or just an illusion ? [That's real. Nanzhu (as a God of the Door Realm who kinda farmed humans to enter his world and survive his doors) observed Qiushi all his life, and when Qiushi started crossing the doors as a young man, Nanzhu fell in love with him. Nanzhu then decided to reset Qiushi's doors, instead of letting him pass the '12th door' back to normal life with no memory of anything so he could go on with his life, instead, Nanzhu cleared his memory of the doors and made him start again, so they could do it all together. But Nanzhu, not being human, needed an 'outline' and a corporeal human form for himself, so he basically adopted Qiushi's backstory (with a few edits here and there) before he wiped his own memory. And then he picked up as the leader of the already established Obsidian. It's important to note that Nanzhu seems to have free reign over the minds and memories of people who cross his doors, so he tampers with door crossers memories as it suits him.
I won't mention anything about the drama! I hope you enjoy it and that these answers cleared up any confusion about the novel! :3
I watched it through twice before it was even rebroadcast on Viu and Viki, LOL, basically watched it twice within 3 weeks, that was before we had HOPE for proper subs. At the moment I'm on my third rewatch, I'm on episode 4. But I've paused watching because I'm still hoping to do an official rewatch on iQiyi if they air it, because on iQiyi I won't need a VPN, so in the mean time I'm watching S03 of Young Royals.
If iQiyi hasn't aired it by the time I finish YR's, I'll keep watching it on my own, it's been difficult to pause it!
Well tbh i don't think this new melon is practically possible... I mean why wud they release it just to delete…
If it's real and they are releasing it for a few hours, they might be doing it because they're hoping to finally get it out there, like The Spirealm did, before the licenses expire for broadcasting Immortality and Winner is King.
After The Spirealm got broadcast and taken down back in Feb, fans got a hold of all the episodes in time and spread it around and subbed it. It became popular anyway, and now it's officially re-aired on Viu and Viki because of that. Maaaaaybe this can happen again for these shows which people have been waiting for and losing hope. Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
I'm one of those who've been waiting for Immortality for ages, it may not be really happening, but if it is, I hope those Chinese fans are ready to DOWNLOAD it.
Yep, just open Spotify and type in R1SE. XZG also has some songs on there, but you have to search for him with the Chinese characters of his name ε€δΉε

Also, YES, it's BL. Don't let that 'bromance' bs tag fool you!!
