The ending depends on your interpretation mostly. There IS an option of how and where to end if you so choose, but I don't want to risk spoilers, so how about this, watch until episode 37 (you'll be head over heels by that point), and then before the final ep, pop back into the comment section and ask about the ending and how to proceed again :3

Well, bromance is a forced tag on Cn BL's, the ML's are never 'just friends' in these shows. As for The Spirealm, they pushed the boundaries as much as possible, the ML's are 100% into each other, it's quite obvious early on, but there is just no overt physical affection or explicit verbal confirmation due to censorship.

Nah, I know my mother, it's same reason even though I love shows like Together With Me and The Eight Sense, I won't suggest she watches them, I know she won't like the premise/plots/characters.

Yep, she enjoyed it xD but my mother and I have similar-ish taste. And I don't like Japanese BL's for the most part, basically one in every 10 just about holds my interest, and she's pickier than me 😅 so when I recommend stuff for her, I always consider what I know about her aesthetics and tastes, which means I don't recommend in BL genre often lol. I know she likes Chinese and Korean shows, but she never watched Japanese stuff, so I stay out of that lane.😂

yeah 😆 she's also watched The Untamed and Semantic Error, and she said she'll watch Eternal Faith if it's ever released.

😬 I can't say I disagree. She even started watching Love is like a Cat when it came out. And I was like 'you'll regret that decision' 😂 She did regret it, she gave up after three eps 😂😂

I WISH someone had warned ME not to watch the last 8 minutes back in Feb. Now I can only warn other people 😭 although, when my mother watched it I warned her about it and she was like 'nope, I want to watch it' 😩 aaaah THE PRIVILEGE to skip IGNORED.

Also, yes, the novel is awesome and more detailed. But the show holds its own W 😍 Best BL since The Untamed across the board imo.

The ending is mixed feelings tbh, and also depends on how you interpret it. I won't say more to avoid spoilers 😁 but the show is AMAZING and worth every second of watching.

It's currently available for paid viewing on Viki and Viu, with the exception the first few eps being free. If you can afford it maybe consider supporting the official re-release, if you can't pay for streaming, then the forum section above the comments here on MDL have links to fan uploads with fan made subs. Also, there are the usual unofficial sites where it's available with proper subs since the re-release

I have a habit of making two FMVs per fandom, one happy and one sad (I only realized this about three days ago when I was looking at my previous FMVs lol). This is the sad one complete. So basically, the actions of every person playing can change the events in the doors. Every time Lanzhu goes into a door, things may be different or more difficult because of the game's 4 levels of difficulty and also what other players do or don't do.

There's more to it, which also makes the doors (as a video game make sense), but for non game-players, it might be confusing or uninteresting xD
