Here's a link to the song (with English lyrics) on YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T8WvEnZaXM
You can also find the audio drama on YT with subs, or the complete subbed audio drama is on Discord.

Watched four times and still when I hear wuji I get all teary , what a masterpiece
I often think about awesome it would have been for WY and XZ to sing a duet of Wangxian from the audio drama. Wuji is amazing, but the track from the audio drama is just as amazing, it has all the feels, and then some. The lyrics...yeesh, so good.

But physical wise they are very young, Xie Lian stopped aging at 17 and Hua Chen is not much older. So very hard…
I hope they approach it that way and cast some experienced actors, but usually, no matter what the country, casting directors like to pick actors who are trending and popular in some new and relevant media in order to appeal to more and more people. So it becomes quantity of viewers over quality of acting. But I'm trying not to be cynical. Everyone seems so interested in the casting of Xie Lian though, while I'm over here just hoping they cast Hua Cheng well, then I'll be happy.

Is the special edition a sequel??
Nope, it's a shortened version of the original run. It focuses on WW and LWJ more and changes the layout of the ending.

I think we have to brace ourselves for the censorship no matter what adapted BL drama it is, unless China decides to start progressing a little more in that area it's definitely gonna be lacking in that department. But it doesn't mean they can't still tell an awesome story. China has managed it quite a few times so far.

And yeah, appropriately aged would mean casting young actors, but they should be at least a little experienced, or if they're new, maturer in personality, and matching to the characters in canon. I read here in the comments the rumored casting and I'm already feeling disappointed. For me, casting comes before the script, because I literally cannot watch a show if I don't take a liking to at least one of the main cast (╥︣﹏᷅╥) so I'll be really let down if that happens because I love the story of this.
On Eternal Faith May 7, 2021
Honestly, I'm two-minded about this being adapted live. I really want it, but also doubtful of it. The casting alone could make or break this. I feel like they need to cast appropriately aged, mature actors. Both MC's are hundreds of years old and they need to come across that way when acting their parts in order to carry the fantastic tone of the story.

"...it would be better to not even make the series at all because it insults the readers of the novel." - what…
Yeah, I predicted it would be too much for you to read, that's why I said:
TL;DR - Insult is the wrong word. The creators are not to blame for your personal dislike for the TU. No one insulted you. But by all means, hang on to your disappointment and dissatisfaction.

In terms of the English language, insult is the wrong word for what you're complaining about. And as for the last sentence you wrote here, well, maybe you're just not that articulate because that doesn't make sense either.

"...it would be better to not even make the series at all because it insults the readers of the novel." - what…
You're using the wrong word, here. Insult is the wrong word, which makes your insistence of being insulted sound really silly. The creators of this show did nothing to offend or disrespect the many viewers, which is what an insult is. An insult in TU, for example, would have been if they'd made WW hook up with girls, or anything else that altered his fundamental canon character. The show didn't alter any of the characters drastically, which upheld the integrity of the novel. I mean, have you seen the DBZ live action film? THAT was an insult to the fandom of DBZ. I can't even talk about it without cringing.

The Untamed creators did the show the best and truest way they could within the limitations they had, such as censorship/budget/script dialogue approval, etc they had to work with. And if the story of MDZS was not equally past and present, they could have used an interim actor, or even avoided showing the face of past!WW in scenes that included him. However, as others have said, having two separate actors play the role of an integral main character who is in the story in every episode, would have just been bad form. They did the right thing by keeping one actor. That is what adapting requires, it's about knowing how to take what the canon fiction material has, and suitably adjusting it for television. Hence the reason ALL live versions of comics/manga/novels/donghua will always have some differences. Add in censorship to the mix and it's even more difficult. TU, while watered down, was far from a bromance. That bromance tag is just the default slapped on to it, subtler than censors demanding no-homo, you know? TU is not a bromance, at all.

In the end, you are of course, entitled to dislike the show. But claiming you're insulted makes no sense. You're disappointed, sure. Upset, yeah. Dissatisfied, fine. You could even say you're disgusted by the censorship and script changes if you want to be dramatic about it. But implying the creators were insulting you, is you overvaluing your singular opinion, especially since the general and abundant fandom are perfectly happy with this adaptation and its cast.

TL;DR - Insult is the wrong word. The creators are not to blame for your personal dislike for the TU. No one insulted you.

But by all means, hang on to your disappointment and dissatisfaction.

I don't generally follow up on reccs because they usually fail, but this was a good one. I almost immediately liked both main characters equally, which almost never happens for me. Nice one.

I think you're exaggerating a bit here about being crucified. But aside from that, tbh you kind of come across as though you came here to pick on TU. It sounds less like critique and more like you just want to point out how much you don't like TU specifically compared to the shows you favour. It's like you're badmouthing TU just for the sake of badmouthing it. If it's not your thing just drop it like you said ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I mean, I didn't even bother with WoH because I don't like the actors and the trailer was boring, but I didn't go over to the WoH page and complain about it

Thanks. I think what I really need to know is whether it's an e-sports drama with a side love story, or a love story drama with a side of e-sports. I definitely have no interest in watching the latter. That is way too boring.

I'm iffy about watching shows that claim to have plots but are really just cheesy, romance laden snooze fests, which I've noticed happens often in Asian dramas. Can someone tell me if this actually has a good story? Or is it some weak plot moments with lots of tropey love story stuff? I don't mind a romance going on, but if it's the central point of the story, I'd rather pass.

If you're looking for Hollywood level CGI and it's a dealbreaker for you, then you're in the wrong place. There is plenty of CGI and props that weren't perfect in the production of this show, we all noticed it. I mean, of course I noticed how Jiang Cheng's STEEL sword wobbled in episode 33 when he was using it during that one big scene, and that they could have used many, many more extras (or cgi'd extras) in certain scenes, but none of that mattered to me (or any other fans), because the show is EPIC. E.P.I.C.

Just one question - how come Zhen Xuan is now working with Pei Shou Yi, I didn't see any conclusion to their story…
I think people are reading too much into it. I think at the ending of the show PSY is tentatively giving the situation a go, not that anything is happening between them yet. YZX working there is not surprising, he offered to work there early on in the season, and then additionally PSY's other employees asked why he wasn't around when he disappeared for a while after PSY's first rejection, mentioning how he worked so hard. Giving him a job there probably wasn't a major decision for PSY. So, I think the ending of the season for that pairing, is meant to be the first step for them.

Yeah, it's possible his behaviour was to push YZX away, I had suspected that myself, but still, since season one he hasn't shown any actual signs of Affective Disorder anyway, so they really got their ideas wrong here.
On We Best Love: Fighting Mr. 2nd Apr 10, 2021
Over all, it was messy, but not a bad ending to this season.
Although, I was really disappointed about the incorrect description of PSY's disorder. Who's actually writing this? Affective disorder doesn't have anything to do with a lack of empathy, as he basically described in himself during his convo with YZX. AD is a mood disorder. I know it's not worth getting into, because this show is shooting and missing a lot of details and points, but what PSY described is more along the lines of an empathy disorder (or psychopathy).

I did notice he wasn't really portraying any affective disorder behaviour, but since YZX wasn't portraying a particularly accurate person with Asperger's, I was overlooking it, but that scene where PSY described his disorder had me like (;一_一) eh???

I will probably watch more of this show if they make more, but only because the various actors' chemistry is really nice, and I still like PSY.
