It's been answered many times. Short answer:
1: Different actors have difference accents that might clash
2: No noise control on sets
3: Actors voices may not 'suit' the character

I loved every second of this episode, every scene, every conversation, every choice they made to change it from the novel version were all EXCELLENT. They really made fantastic creative choices with the direction they took the adaptation and they did in fact leave out a lot of the nonsense bad-fanfiction stuff and focus on the main points of the story and not deviating from the point of the show.

My fave scenes include
- 6.08 min (well done, just the right amount of drama)
- 20.55 min (my fave fave scene in this ep for sure, so well done, nice reveals for story and characters)
and of course the subsequent scene
- 23.51 min (the more tension, angst and anger the better, I loved how it just kept building and building!)
Of course I also enjoyed
- 30.07 (this scene was a good breather and SW and XS's friendship growth was depicted so nicely)

Of course the whole ep was good, but these scenes were extra enjoyable for me. And after seeing ep 18's preview (specifically the club scene), it looks like they continually made great choices of how to adapt the novel, what to leave in and leave OUT and what to CHANGE, so important to change things carefully but for the better. I am so keen for tomorrow's ep. PSYCHED!

Lol bts was fun but I can take it or leave it tbh, I'm mostly keen to see the series each week. These next two eps are gonna be so hectic, I'm loving it :D

If they cut out all the bad fanfiction stuff in the novel and streamline the main points of the mother's arc and the reveal about Yueyue, I reckon with two +-50 min eps, they could probably get the break up over with by the end of this Tuesday's ep, or at least set up the start of them making up. I'm being optimistic. lol

Agree. I don't have problem with omegaverse, but imo it belongs in written fanfiction. I won't watch it in a series, very rarely would I even read a graphic novel of it.

I'll be honest, on my part, I didn't get a threesome vibe, I got a Chengyu was playing along but wasn't attracted romantically to either of them vibe. I don't he even likes WS as a person, a lot of his actions regarding WS points to this.

In the novel, it's likely he had some sexual attraction to CC because they canonically fooled around as teens and flirted and such, but there is no threesome and no 'in love' happening in the series at all imo. Just drunken fun that WS didn't expect to turn heated (as it is implied in the series and explicitly detailed in the novel). So he got butthurt lol

The situation of the past and the video, in and of itself, is/was not disgusting. CC kissing his boyfriend (at that time) was normal, nothing disgusting about it. CC and CY kissing, depending on who the viewer is, this could be shocking or not, but not disgusting, Same for a threesome scenario, not actually disgusting, just not everyone's preference.

I was replying to you earlier, the app didn't @ you for some reason. Your original comment was "The video clip that WSW watched in the past is disgusting!" which sounded generalized, not just limited to your preferences. But in this answer you've more clearly stated it's just your personal feelings about it, which is all good, to each their own.
