Can some one tell me what to watch to experience this feeling again ? guardian was the only one that made me feel…
If you're possibly interested in bromance that feels like it could easily have been more, I would suggest The Devil Judge. It's a masterpiece. If the genre is to your taste, I would recc it.
To this point it is a censored Chinese bromance in every sense other than where it was produced. And now that…
I was just explaining why I don't discuss age and gender, which is generally used in these forums to make judgements about people, in response to your comment about being curious of my age and gender. Whatever your reason for being curious notwithstanding, that's my reason for not discussing it.

Yep, to each their own. I can agree I would prefer it if there was way less white washing make up and stiff hair in BLs. A more natural appearance on all actors in all BLs is something I'd like to see more of.

I never said you said or implied anything. That was my explanation for why I don't discuss mine, or anyone else's, age or gender on here. You can use whichever method of reading people that suits you for your determinations. For me, it's not that deep, I don't really want to know what makes people say the things they do or feel how they do about an actor or drama, I'll just engage if a comment catches my attention, interest or if it's entertaining, or if it's a direct question to me, if not, I'll keep scrolling. The ratio of dumb fucks on the internet in general is exhausting, ain't nobody got time for that.

In the end, whether China's censored gay works are considered BL depends on who you ask. If you ask me, I say they're BLs. And yep, those two are at the top of my list, no doubts on my side about them. It is interesting to compare opinions and preferences. Discussion boards and forums are great places to interact if one knows how to navigate them.
As for my age and gender, neither is relevant here. I'm not of the opinion that age or gender is always an accurate representation of a person's intelligence, personality, logic, reasoning or how they share, and what is included in, their viewpoints. People of any age can be insightful and open minded, or dumb as fuck.

Hm, I actually don't find most of the actors in BLs attractive according to my personal taste. Objectively, sure, plenty of them check the boxes of good looking by most standards. But subjectivity is also acceptable, of course, everyone has their own tastes, so that's valid too. And I stand by my own subjective preferences. I have the same feelings about western actors. Over all, the list of male BL actors I think are attractive is not long, but I can like an actor a lot without thinking they're attractive, these two things are not mutually exclusive for me. With regards to the actors of Sheng Wang and Jiang Tian, they hold no physical appeal to me, but I think their acting is good, even though the show itself is gradually slipping.
As for the Cn fans who are bashing this show, it's not surprising. There are certain BL fans from all countries that I refer to as The Unhinged. These are the ones who struggle to separate fiction from reality and they get very bent and pressed about anything that threatens what they feel is best or right or acceptable. They will literally not be able to see past their own illogical verbal diarrhea. I generally ignore them, discussions with them are a waste of energy, they can't be reasoned with.
About the last part of your comment, I think it once again boils down to preference. There are people who favour BL media by country (for whatever reason), so the ones who will listen to the Chinese Mainlanders may the ones who favour Chinese BL (danmei likely since BL series are now totally banned), and so they will jump on board whatever those Cn fans are angsting about.
It's all very exhausting. I will watch and like whoever from wherever I want to, and dislike whoever I like and whatever I like as per my preferences. How anyone else feels about that is irrelevant to me.

Knowing Mainland China's inherent angst towards Taiwan, a lot of their whining is probably JUST because it's Taiwan, like, by default lol. That said, while I don't care about the actors ages, I personally agree with the Mainland Chinese viewers on the point of them being average looking, the ML casting is mid. It's never good when the support actors outshine the MLs, but that's happening in this show.
I've noticed in the novel Gao Tian Yang wasn't part of the two boys in the dorm together with our couple. So they…
I for one am glad to know they decided to give us more scenes with the actor of Gao Tian Yang. That dude should be a ML in something in the future, he's got ML vibes.
Yo, I left this question unanswered all this time because I thought LordFengCui might answer it eventually, since…
Oh these questions I can answer: 1. Yep, their relationship is one hundred percent legit in the novel. No censorship. There is kissing and implied sex between Ruan Nanzhu and Lin Qiushi. 2. Nope, Li Dong Yuan is actually not even a major character in the novel, he is given more importance in the series because the writers had to adjust for BL content they could not represent being absent, so they made some side characters way more important in the series than they are in the novel. 3. There are several different interpretations for the ending and it depends on how you want to see things. Here's the three majorly running ending interpretations;
1) Comatose Jiushi wakes up and everything was a dream, so he spends the next 50 years creating the virtual world he dreamed about so he can see everyone one he dreamed of.
2) Jiushi had entered a virtual game world, then he 'wakes up' back in his reality after having purified the game, and the virtual world ceases to exist. Lanzhu included, he ceases to exist as he states he would in ep 36. So he spends the next 50 years creating the virtual world he experienced and the people in it, as a comfort for his loss before he dies.
3) Everything that happens in the series happens inside a virtual world, and after the virtual world is purified, everyone from the real world who lived/died in the virtual world returns to the real world with all their memories wiped and they go back to their normal lives.
Which one do you feel most likely fits the series ending? You can decide.
But Wang character is same like FL in hidden love when she was in school.she did it more than Wang as school student…
According to the novel canon version of LWJ (and the donghua, manhua, audio drama and chibi versions), he embodied that character like RDJ embodied Tony Stark, there is no recast that would measure up. Of course, in the end, nothing is to everyone's liking, so to each their own.
But Wang character is same like FL in hidden love when she was in school.she did it more than Wang as school student…
Yep. I've seen almost everything he's done (that suits my tastes) and this is the only character he needed to say a handful of words per episode, for 50 episodes, and totally convey everything else with his expressions and body language (true to the novel canon character), which he nailed. His other characters are all dialogue based and normally expressive. He matches the description you originally wrote, that's why I thought of him.

Sorry, totally off topic, I just read: [And please name another BL character who is this silent and reserved, and another BL actor who silently conveys as much information using only his eyes/face/body.] and I had to name drop the one and only, the legend,
I basically watched the latest ep on fast forward. It's a pity though, I mean, from my side, I was never really interested in the MLs (visually, but also SW is an annoying character) but I WAS interested in how well the story was paced and acted, it was really done so well. But in the two episodes this week, the story itself is failing to stay interesting. It's starting to feel like there's more filler about side characters and the ins and outs of their school life than actual story and character relationship development. It's facing the risk of stagnating, and if the comments are anything to go by, it's happening right before a separation? Hm. With two eps left, that sounds like a bad spot to be in.
It feels a bit late to drop it now, so I'll stick it out and hope for the best, but there has been a decline in this series since they seem to have gotten off track.
Can someone tell me how this one got leaked, with details please ?
Yo, I left this question unanswered all this time because I thought LordFengCui might answer it eventually, since they seemed to know more about this. I can't answer with any clarity because I don't know the ins and out of what happened to get it leaked.
I might get hate for this but I am going to be the one to say it. The scene at the end has garnered criticism…
I appreciate this answer, it's well thought out. Honestly, I just think people are too pressed these days. The whole thing was for lols, I just chuckled and moved on. As one should. @EscapeArtist's answer was also informative as a reference.
