Hm... Where should I even begin this...

Story about Archaeological expert Professor Chen who discovered a jade pendant. Since he discovered this jade pendant, he started having dream about a girl and a general.

In this dream, the girl [Meng Yun(MY)] is running from a man (Huduna). Later we find out that Huduna is a king who wants to married MY. Huduna wanted to merried MY not only because she's pretty, but because MY also hold the key to greater treasure that been kept by Great Shaman.

In the real world, Professor Chen also try to discovered this treasure. But of course not because he wants to keep it for himself, but to give it to the country and to learn about this missing history. So how the treasure hunt ends...?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Great landscape. Especially in the end
+ Good acting skill. Jackie chan movie never disappointed me with their character acting skill and combat scene.

What I don't:
- Quite boring story. This basically remake of myth with a little different story.
- The joke on the AI generated face. They try to make Jackie Chan younger but this one of the the bad results of the failed CGI. From the comment, the younger general is played by Zheng Ye Cheng. Such unfortunates for Zheng Ye Cheng.

Overall just watch if you're the fans of the actor/ess played here

Like Sidhika Trisha wrote this is definitely long advertisement, especially for Oppo & they obviously already said that from the beginning. This adv very creatively highlights a few features about the phone, especially the camera function. But that's doesn’t mean this only about advertising, this adv have story to tell that's really enjoyable to watch...

Well like Sidhika Trisha also already wrote, 'this is about a guy who loves dancing and would do anything to continue learning dance.' One day that guy, Lin Jin (LJ), meet interesting girl, Xiao Zi (XZ), that's promise to help LJ find his core dance if LJ do several task that XZ gave for him. And like karate kid story, every thing that XZ ask LJ did, eventually to help him with his dancing... And in the end LJ learn to include every little thing that his do in his daily life to his dancing moves....

And yes see Yi Bo & Dilireba together for this short duration make us want to scream: "GIVE US DRAMA WITH THEM AS MAIN COUPLE!!!!!" Haha....

Long time not watch short drama that so trash like this. Find it on the feed & watch it for my mini series Challenge.

This like collection video shoot for tik-tok, where i think the uploader not upload completely, or at least the one that I've watch. So yeah it's like missing a few chunk of the story or video to make some scene make sense. Like why the ML suddenly decided to give distance to FL, why he suddenly collapse... The one that I've watch have no explanation about it. And the moment they fall in love also feel abupt & no special moment.

So yeah if you need this to complete the challenge like myself you may watch it. If not just moving on & find other better short drama

Not too interested watching this. But a few pitching from YouTube makes me want to watch this. So here I am finished watch this drama. As expected this drama not really my cup of tea, but this drama quite makes sense & Liang Shao Xue & Tian Yong is just so cute, they're the one that actually make me hang till the end.

Make sense logic:
+ The first thing that makes me very berry happy is they use English when they meet foreigner.... They not make the foreigner speak Chinese fluently, but as happen in the real life they must use English to communicate instead.
+ Liang Mu Ze (MZ) & Xia Chu (XC) not just jumping into relationships when they realize they like each other. Many thing must be considered, especially regarding MZ job as military man.
+ One woman that really hard to understand is Xiao Xiao. She's like a backstabber & selfish b*tch that willing to do anything to safe herself. But that's a reality of life isn't it. Sometimes drama make the story so beautiful, that FL/ML have all the friend in the work that seem willing to do anything for them. But in real life sometimes friend at work not your friend, they just colleagues that will safe themselves if necessary. And that not always mean they the bad friend or bad people.
+ I really want to change the ending for Tian Yong (TY). But once again that's life. We can't always save everyone. And sometimes that bitter pill we need to swallow.

what I like:
+ Liang Shao Xue (SX) & TY is just a cute couple. Like how they complete each other, the hyperactive SX & the quiet TY. We can see how they kinda influence each other, how TY make SX more calm & mature & SX kinda make TY more open. TY also make SX understand the sacrifice that her dad must do.
+ Johnny Huang & Li Qin quite a cute couple. I quite like their chemisty. Really like how cute MZ kinda protect XC from his mom after they together.
+ The friendship between XC & Mi Gu (MG). That's one tight & true friendship with all the support they need & have. Even beyond man, no man can break their relationship as 'sister'

The minus:
- The idealist that we gonna recognize the boy or girl that we like after that long year of separation & not meet or have their picture. Haha... I mean the first time Zhuo Ran (ZR) & XC meet again after high school, they immediately just recognize each other. How...? Yeah I know sometimes we don't change much, but that kind recognition is kinda weird & 'magical'. Haha...
- XC too idealis as a doctor, but at the same time she also use too much feeling for her patient sometimes. Like with the lung transplant girl (I forgot her name).
- The weird rejection from XC's dad toward MZ and the weird behavior from XC's dad overall. We never really got the explanation about XC's dad weird behavior, all the paranoia regarding his research, and more over why Lao Ye (the drug lord) need his research in the first place. Also the reason for his rejection regarding MZ & XC relationship, is it because ZR kinda whisper bad thing about MZ or just cause the MZ job itself....?
- The stupid slave love that MG has for ZR. She know for sure ZR has feeling for XC but still hang to that feeling, even let ZR played her several times. Although I kinda happy how in the end she still use her head to make a decision instead just use her heart.
- Sometimes the scene not make sense. Kinda like there something in the middle but they cut it in post production. Like when MZ suddenly get worse after his operation. Or like how sudden MG change her thought regarding ZR. Yeah I know they explained later on, but still kinda missing something in the middle.
- The weirdest and no reason to go for MZ & XC in the first place...

Overall this mature drama, that not filled with the angst but mature thing & some scene regarding military....

many plot holes

I love this drama, but for me this drama has a little too many plot holes that make me have to lower the score. I can't bring it to the 7⭐️, so I settle with 6.5⭐️. A little warning! I'll gonna write a spoiler. If you don't wanna know just skip reading my review then.








The good point:
+ Lu Wan Wan (WW) & Han Jing Mo (JM) is a cute couple. Really love how JM stand up for WW, especially the confessing scene in the award ceremony, that's a lot of balls to pull to make such announcement at the big event, even bolder that he do it before consulting with his agent.
+ JM openness to WW's parent. Really admire him when he admits that he rather lose than cheating the chess game.

The plot holes:
- The confession scene between WW & JM feel like anti climatic. It just happen like that, like nothing important.
- The reveling of JM as Mo Bai Zhi Jian also feel like something amiss
- The difference in JM character. At first JM is like a little boy that really like to annoy the girl that he likes, but suddenly after he gets jealous he change to just a protector of WW.
- The weird connection to their childhood. Why not make it something bigger or more important, like JM look for this girl & so happy to find out that it's turn out to be WW. If don't want why don't just erase it at all. The childhood story feel like just a flash & unimportant part.
- Zhao Jing Hang (JH) feeling toward WW is never really clear. Is it love or is it just sibling love...? They always said it's only sibling love, but when WW & JM finally together we can see how sad JH is.
- JH & Guan Yi Wei relationship in the end is also never clear. I know they not the main focus, but is the relationship finally bloom or not we get the final result.
- The weird relationship between Lu Guang Han (GH) & Xia Lin Xi, they suddenly together without warning...
- The weird relationship between GH & Gu Qiao Bei (QB). If I must put a word into this it feels like GH is a weird stalker of QB. I never saw a man that more insist into recruit new actor to his firm as much as GH want to recruit QB. At one time GH make me feel like he's not only try to recruit QB as his actor but more of he tries to chase QB as his boyfriend. Haha...
- Is WW still a student or not...? I think she already graduate cause she never go into class or give clue that at least she's not graduate yet, but a little conversation from Zhao Jing Hang (JH) or Lu Guang Han (GH) (i forget who said it) indicate otherwise. I think she's not graduate yet, so why not she's in school...? Or if she only need to practice why don't we at least get to see the graduate scene in the end? Does she drop it in the end...? Very not clear.

Overall this actually quite good drama, with comedy & romance. But nothing feel amiss if you don't watch it...

How crazy are you willing to do for 'love'?

Finally finished watch this after delay it for quite sometimes. Thinking & thinking to watch or not because of Chen Yu Qi. For me this girl is no FL material yet. I love her character in ashes, but as long as she play the lead role / FL, almost feel lack of something. Sorry for her fans. But at the same time I want to watch Dylan Wang after Love Between Fairy and Devil, so yeah finally I decided to watch this & hang till the end because of Dylan & Peter Ho.

How crazy are you willing to do for 'love'? Here we have Murong Gao Gong (GG) that willing to do anything just to make sure Bu Yin Lou (YL) be his, even with the lack of cooperative & willingness from YL herself. GG is an unfavored princes that have opportunities to take the throne, due to all his relative is dead & he is as the closest heir. GG himself has very week personality & when he takes the throne he became quite insecure. Unfortunately he choose the wrong way & pick power to control everyone that don't obey him.

At the same time we have Xiao Duo (XD), head eunuch & have all the power to control the military & court. He has one purpose to find his brother killer & take revenge. With time he encounter YL & fall in love with her. In the end they found out the one killed XD's brother is related to YL & he decided to just give up the revenge in the name of love. And last he finally give every thing that he has just to be with YL....

OK. Now our girl, Bu Yin Lou (YL). She is one free spirited girl that love freedom, she is smart & witty. She is falling in love with XD, the man that up & down try to do everything for her & give his best to give her freedom. Unfortunately we got Chen Yu Qi as YL, she can't portray YL perfectly. Although I quite like her in the end, where she like crazy & the talk with GG is done well. But maybe if someone else be YL, it's gonna be better...

What I love:
+ The chemistry between Dylan Wang & Chen Yu Qi not as bad as I imagine. Quite like to see them together.
+ Peter Ho give amazing performance as GG. We can see how insecure he is, how he crave love from YL, and every little feeling that GG has we can feel it.
+ The adorable Tong Yun & Cao Chun Ang

Overall this drama pulled by Dylan Wang & Peter Ho performance.

Ending part

Last part of the story where we get to see where it will end. Will it happy ending, which mean FL can grow old with ML & when she died she return to real life or sad ending where she need to leave....?

Btw I'm gonna wrote spoiler, a little big, if you don't wanna know just skip reading my review then.

In this part we see how lovely Yian Yi Yi (YY) life in the palace. How YY & Qin Yu (QY) begin their life as a couple. And also at the end we get a glimpse of what a life without YY in the picture. What do you mean, you ask...? Haha... This kinda big spoiler so I'm not gonna wrote here. If you want to know just watch it yourself, or just read the end of my review. Haha...

In this part finally we can also see what the effect & consequences for YY to stay in the story world, especially to QY. Really interesting we can see turn out when real person (YY) comes to story world, there're consequences for the character in the story world itself not only for the YY herself.

Overall this one good complete short story, where when you compile every part/season from 1 to 3 its only about 6 hour. Given take with 45 Min duration it's about 8 ep or 30 min duration it's about 12 ep. Lower the star cause I hate when MDL or the writer just separate the drama like this....

What become questionable when the book officer just turn everything around in the end to make every character forget about YY & just erased her presence in the story. The question is: Why don't he just did that from the start...? Why must he let everything happen from the beginning... Haha... That's what I mean when I wrote we get a glimpse of what a life without YY in the picture.

One of the most complicated conspiracy

OMG I don't know what to say about this drama. This drama definitely one of the most complicated conspiracy & misunderstanding in the drama world. Everything unrevealed in the last episode that make ur heart ache for all the misunderstanding that happen between our couple, Shen Miao (MM) & Pei Yan Zhen (YZ).

I definitely more like Riley Wang in here. Haha... His bad vibe really match him, or maybe he's more suit play the bad guy then the main lead in the drama. Haha... Sorry for all his fans.... But he's definitely have more expression than his usual character, maybe that's why I more like him here. Haha...

Definitely must give trophy to Song Xi Yuan, never really expected his scheme is that bad & complicated. I don't know must understand what he did or must cursing for what he did to MM. But this is also definitely the most pity character that Xing Zhao Lin ever acted, that I've ever watched. How many times I want to stop watch this drama, due to I can't take it anymore watching what happen to YZ. But in the end I must know what scheme that cover all of that....

If you want to watch something complicated, have hidden meaning in every episode. This definitely something you want to watch. But if you hoping to find usual light hearted rom-com, this definitely something you want to get away from. But in the end I really quite enjoy the drama....

One love story that tell you when you know you know...

One love story that tell you when you know you know... Hyun Woo & Mi Soo from the first time we already know they will gonna end up together, just the matter of how & when, and themselves also know this as fact, of how attract them one and the other.

Very impressive how all the coincidental meeting & how they keep their feeling for each other after that many years... After that the love just that easily blossom just like they wait for so damn long time for this to happen...

But of course, not life if they don't give us surprise & problem.

Here comes the part that I'm not too like about this movie...
What is the hell of Hyun Woo's problem? we never really get the fully answer about his past. What is the reason he go to prison? Is the push is accidental or what the heck happen that day...? I don't know why the cut scene very explisit like that, they don't even show us the blood or the body at the ground.... And more over what about his friend...? Are they really bad or what...?

For me the lack of explanation is very ambiguous & not clear that make this movie ending with unclear tone...

Friendship & life decision

Hesitate to watch this, but fortunately I've watch this. Because this year, this is one of the best drama I've watch. & one of the drama that make me hard to let go. I just want to repeatedly watch the ending over & over....

OK let's discuss the drama. This drama about friendship & life decision. Friendship not only between our 5 friends, but also about their family.

The plus:
+ The friendship between our character is really real. Especially between Shao Xue (SX) & Zhang Qi (ZQ) and also with Lin Shi Yin (SY). Although their friendship not really smooth without rock, but in the end they still friend to the end.
+ ZQ really one true gentlemen. He is one of the few SML that make me have second lead syndrome. Although he love SX, he never forced or even try to win her love, he knows for sure who her love for and respect her feeling. So he just walks that hard path to become her best friend & witness how SX & Zheng Su Nian (SN) relationship bloom.
+ Sometimes you can't forced the relationship, no matter how much you love your partner. Like Wu Huan (WH) & SY or Bai Yun Sheng & his girlfriend. Quite sad for WH & SY, but I have a bet to myself will their relationship nailed it or not. Maybe if they are the main couple the story will gonna be different. But I like when they decided to break WH & SY apart. Yeah when the relationship rolled, we can sense how much the other party fit to our life or future. In my opinion WH & SY from the first step already took the different path, just time will decide to break them apart.

The minus:
- You can't fool your age. Haha... Of course I'm talking about Yukee Chen & Yan Zi Dong, but especially Yukee Chen. Although her behavior quite OK as a teenage girl, but often I can see the wrinkle & her face feature overall just too old to play as teenage girl. Sometimes that quite bothered me.
- Sometimes the friendship just partial to our FL. Like when SY become gloom when she broke up with WH, SX not even bothered to ask, she just heavily deep with her problem with SN. Best friend talk about both side, the writer just too focus about SX feeling & kinda neglected SY feeling.
- I don't know to put it into the bad or good thing, but I lean toward the bad thing so yeah I put it here then. The decision that SN take when he break up with SX. In my opinion it's unnecessary break up. Because just like ZQ said, "let go not break up." & like SN said what the different...? For me the difference kinda a lot. If he just let go, that mean SX still will contact him & they will have long distance relationship. If break up yeah happen exactly just like in this drama.

Overall this is one a good youth drama.

Finally finish

Sometimes a little lazy to watch costume drama due to complicated & cruelty plot. This is no exception. I have to stop few times because i can't bear to see the pull thread between Chu Mu (CH) & Fu Rou (FR), but my love for Xu Kai make me hang on till the last ep. Hohoho :D.

I decided to give drama a break from the moment FR back to palace with Prince Zhou (ZW) after they ran away together. Really want to scratch FR face because she keep playing with CM feeling. Yeah i know she has her own consideration & i also know how mischievous ZW is.

The funny think the moment i think to myself very unsual to see all the prince get along with each other (it's in the few first ep where ZW, Prince Han (HW) and Crown Prince (CP) drinking tea together), not long after that we can see how messed up ZW & CP relationship actually are.

In this drama we can see how important is it that people close to us can shape us. We can become like CP or little Prince Qin or CM. CP is not blessed with good people by his side, that can actually help him. Like HW who supposed to be his best support is become enemy in his eyes. If only CP choose Lu Ying Ying (YY) to be his Crown Princess maybe all of his story will be a little different, because i quite believe YY actually can really help him by giving him the right direction.

I really like YY. Even though her dad & brother is bad people, YY is really good woman. But if she married to CP its just pitty for Yan Zifang.

I also really like the king. He is one good king & good father actually.

Actually this drama sometimes quite confusing me, which direction will it be taken to. At first this still surround FR as the Court lady. But later on this is also about cout d'etat & by all means one of the most uncelar reason in the drama world. Why...? Who the responsible one...? Is it really Fu Shui? How can they actually supress Consort Yan...? See so many unanswered question.

After watch 2 drama of Xu Kai where he has pretty much stilt face (Ancient Love Poetry & Falling Into Your Smile) I'm quite happy to see that curling naughty eyes & smiling in CM face, especially when he is teasing FR.

Overall i just really glad i can finished this drama.

Many unsual

Looking for costume drama decide to watch this after seeing many funny trailer scene. Turn out this drama so not ordinary drama.

I think this is my first time watch a women in ancient china that is this free & have many privileges, especially if she is from royal family like Ban Hua (HH).

HH is really one free spirit that don't afraid of anything, especially with all the love & privileges she gets from the emperor. But what I really like is she never abused that privileges & make her over bearing childish & spoiled. She's still one very tough women with her own mind & freedom. Many woman envy & hate her because of this.

While Rong Xia (RX) himself is very calm man that at first have grudge & plan that not so good. But in here we can see how a man never blind by revenge & clouded his own judgement. Like when he decided to let his grudge against emperor due to all the other feeling he has toward emperor himself; father figure, gratitude, etc.

Really like Shi Jin. He is one gentlement to the core. Even with all his family problem he still can choose the right choice.

Really like the interaction between HH & RX. I don't think their relationship is a lovely-dovey kind, even though we can see many scene that make us awwww so romantic kinda feeling, but for me their relationship more like friendship & one very deep trush with each other. Really like how RX respect & protect HH all the way to the end.

What i don't really like, but doesn't effect my feeling toward this drama is only one actually. All the man here, except several man, is quite stupid. Like ban heng & HH dad. How a man in a royal family so free & easy going toward every thing. All the emperor's son kinda dull in one way or other, Jiang Luo [the 2nd Prince] (JL) actually stupid but with all the ambition & Jiang Zhang [Crown Prince] so coward & kind without all the ambition. All that stupid man sometimes really make the scene so hilarious.

Several thing that kinda bothered me actually.
- All the war fighting is kinda stupid & very fast forward. Yeah i know this is not one war / fighting drama. But stil...
- Everybody else, except Ban family & friend, seems missing from the picture. Like the queen mother, or even Shi Su Yue [Crown Princess]. If after the fued end with the JL she said no one can obstruct her from queen posisition where is she when Xie Wan Yu became queen...?

Here we can see many unsual that make this drama kinda different than many traditional costume drama. For examples: when the wedding they don't cover the woman face with vail or fan, the one open the house of royal family household can be the owner (I know that maybe because of badget etc), very free spirit woman that respect by many people, all the stupid man that actually kinda depend on the woman. And many other.

Overall this one refreshing traditional costume drama that can cheer your day. Very recomended drama. Re-watch...? Maybe some cute & funny scene

Wanting to watch something lighter i decided to watch this drama after see the trailer about teacher changing the perception of everybody about the bad students. Long time not find this kind 'GTO' drama. Really happy this time the teacher is women not man, because usually (the one that i know) this kind of drama the teacher is man.

This drama is so light & funny, but also fill with a lot of problem that we can really relate on. Every bad student usually have heavy problem at home. Here we can see the abusive father, the abandon parent & very strict parent. But of course not all the problem is like what we see at first.

I glad the writer also put physiological problem, in this case of course i talk about Qi Bai. Physiological problem sometimes is a very taboo problem to talk about.

But of course every drama have lack or plot holes. In here i think every problem solved a little bit too quickly. It's like every parent is just obediently listen to Mo Mo & their child. Yeah i know every parent want the best for their chil, but sometimes changing old people though is not that easy, especially if that for 'the good' of their child. The problem of feng bai & momo also resolved too quickly, just by one kiss & everything ok... Haia.... After that big misunderstanding just one kiss & everything ok... Not even need to explained anything... :(

I really hope they have like second season or maybe 1 more episode about they dig the time capsule or maybe the wedding of feng bai & momo... ^_^

Never expected i'll gonna like this drama. But this drama have all the aspect to be like. Like all the character here. From the main lead, second lead until the antagonist. For the story itself yeah still ok.

Ren Jialun played as Lu Yi (LY) is so perfect. Even though he have like sour face for almost the entire drama, but i really feel his face even though sour but still likeable ^_^. His sour face can't make us hate or make our eyebrow flinch with not like :p. I really like the changing in his character. From really cold & strict to the book, he even not slightly soft with Yuan Jin Xia (JX) who is he know is a girl, to became soft and approachable, especially when he with JX we can see the face became so much softer. I also like how the writer show us LY struggle in the last episode where he have to protect JX but at the same time he didn't want to hurt JX.

This is the second time i watch Seven Tan, i really like her, will gonna see her other drama. I like her character JX, she is goofy, tomboy but also sensitive & a little bit sly sometimes ^_^. Like when she want to trick Lin Ling to treat LY with the gun.

Like ChineseDramaFan i also rarely to like an antagonist. The character Yan Shi Fan (SF) played by Han Dong is perfect. Even though he so vicious but somehow he didn't make me hate him like other antagonist character. SF himself really arrogant to the core, even until the last where LY arrest him, he still not show regret or fear, not even just a little bit.

The only one i really can't stand in this drama is the water scene. Oh that water scene really hurt my eyes. So so bad.... The other still ok.
