just because Yang Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat

At first this is really a boring drama. Thanx GOD this drama is played by Yang Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat, if not maybe I'll already drop or hold this. However this drama compensates for everything in the end.

This drama gets better Yu Tu realizes his feelings & gets better again after they are in a relationship. But still the aerospace things still bore me, I don't understand a thing about what they try to explain.

What I like:
+ Yu Tu (YT) & Qiao Jing Jing (JJ) both quite mischievous, they like to tease each other, even their family is no exception.
+ JJ is really down to earth as a very big artist herself. This shows us even the big artist doesn't mean always have to be all over the top.
+ JJ is a very fast thinker person. She can give a very fast response of a problem, its like just in a blink of eye she can think some response. Like she has response in the tip of her tongue. So funny to see her quick response & how YT expression of every instant response that JJ give ^_^.
+ No such thing as a love rival.
+ No other couple. They do not even try to create a second lead couple.
+ YT & JJ relationship is really one healthy relationship. With no stupid misunderstandings or conflicts that makes the relationship become complicated. Not even the money problem
+ really like how in the end the story doesn't stop at their wedding, but continues a little bit more to show us how important YT's job as aerospace scientist is.
+ how people expression when YT tells them that JJ is his GF. Especially Da Meng's expression, really funny.
+ How chill JJ with their relationship. She's really not afraid that her relationship become public consumption.

What doesn't quite makes no sense but doesn't make the story bad:
* YT so handsome but have no fan girl in his office ^_^
* all other friends keep disappearing after some time. Like Zhai Liang / "Panicky" who disappearing after he moves to Shenzhen. But that's life isn't it, not all the people we can keep in our life forever.
* No paparazzi ever hanging around their relationship. The only paparazzi ever try to get the scoop even get caught & can't publish the photo & article.

Overall I am really happy Yang & Dilraba Dilmurat in this drama together as a couple. But for the story itself I can't say this is the best. The story pace itself is actually kind of slow for only 30 min drama and 32 ep. Re-watch...? No, I don't think I'm gonna re-watch this. Next I hope I can see Yang-yang with Zhao Li Ying, Yang Mi or Yang Zi ^_^

Long time hesitate to watch this because of Zhang Binbin. This kind of story usually not really my cup of tea, but I really curious about the chemistry between Zhang Binbin & Jing Tian. So finally decided to check this out & turn out much like my expectation, finally decided to drop it.

Story about the the plant-alien hybrid (Yi Clan) named Si Teng (ST) , whose been slept for 80 years. Qin Fang accidentally wake her up & their journey begins...

What journey...? Unfortunately that's when i decided to stop care & watch, so i don't really know what their journey about. According to MDL summary it's about unrevealed ST memory. But the moment where I stop watch also talk about ST's taking her revenge.

Unfortunately for me the whole story over time not increasing my curiosity about Yi clan or ST herself. Instead they make me more and more careless about what happen in my screen. Although I quite like the chemistry between Zhang Binbin & Jing Tian, it still not enough to save the whole drama for me.

My Sept 2024 Recommendation Challenge

Long time this in my PTW, thanx to TianD and Recommendation Challenge, I've finally watched this...

The reason this so long in my PTW, because the duration of each episode. Make me watch more than 1h per episode, it's quite tormented. Haha... It always bored me at some point.... And as I predict, some episodes of this drama quite bored for me, those episodes make me feel when this will end and continue to the next one... Haha... So yeah, that's quite lowering the score for this drama for me. But of course there're also some episode that can evoke my emotion, so yeah it quite help the score for this drama.

Story about Kim Shin (KS) a general that's curse to be a goblin, due to his sin of killing innocent person just because he's stubborn & want to approach the king... With that curse, KS live immortality to wait for his bride to be born to kill him. After 900 years, KS help a woman & her baby, and with that decision, KS made his destiny, cause the baby that he saved is his bride...

19 years later, KS meet Ji Eun Tak (ET), the baby that he saved & also his bride. ET can see ghost as long as she remembered, and all the ghost always greet her as the goblin's bride. Cause when KS saved her, he also give her a mark & that mark indicate that ET indeed is the goblin's bride.

But that's mean everything went smoothly for KS & ET...? Of course not. ET has prove herself as the goblin's bride for KS, and little by little KS & ET are getting closer & closer to each other. They start to prove they're indeed the soulmate for each other & little by little their feeling for each other also grown into full blossom... So... How their relationship ended in the end...? Can they avoid the fact that ET born to kill KS...?

I think that's pretty much the story without giving any spoiler. Haha... Now let's talk about what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ The chemistry between Gong Yoo & Kim Go Eun. They quite suitable for each other.
+ Gong Yoo & Kim Go Eun are good actor/ess. I can see how captivated KS of ET from KS's first glaze of ET. And the grow of their relationship. How devastated when ET has to lose KS. Everything portrayed perfectly...
+ The interesting story of Grim Reaper & Sunny. Really funny to see Grim Reaper act like an idiot when they first met...

What I don't like:
- The long duration of each episode...
- The unclear Samshin Lady... Who the heck is this lady. See even MDL don't give the name to her... At first I thought she is the GOD, but turn out no... So who the heck is this lady...?????

Overall, this just another drama for my list. TianD said, "Goblin is a hit or miss." For me this is a miss.. Haha... And really until I finished write this, I even don't know what score to give this drama. So a little fair warning, I can still change the score many months from now... Haha....

yang yang can't help

OMG i can't count how many times do i build up the interest to watch this drama since this yang yang drama. But even yang yang can't help me getting interest with this drama. Especially when i know in the end yang yang will gonna died.

Why i don't like...? Hm.... i don't know. But i try to watch & the story really can't pick up my interest. The main actress is not so beautiful & her expression kinda dull for me. Sorry don't judge me, i still like to see beautiful face in my drama.

Since now so many more interesting drama that i want to watch i don't think i ever look back to this drama.

Xu Kai and Seven Tan of course here I came…. So far this is one the best mature business romance dramas this year. Mature ML & FL make the drama not so dramatic and problematic. But still it has unnecessary understanding & prolonged episodes… Haha…

Ok. Let’s talk about drama….

Story about Ji Xing (JX) & Han Ting (HT), university friends that separated & meet up later on. HT had feelings for JX since university days, but they were just acquaintances. On the day of their separation, HT had to go to Germany for study. He tried to reach out to JX to tell her about his situation, but because of the unfortunate turn of events, JX’s phone had been stolen so she never gets the info & always thinks HT just goes without saying goodbye.

Now, many years later, HT met JX again & all the feelings started to come back or should I say, never actually gone… HT & JX come across in their company, with HT as the investor in the company she works on. But like MDL told us, JX who was frustrated with unfair treatment in the company she works on decided to quit her job & start her own company together with her junior, Su Zhi Zhou. After circling around to look for investors for her company, JX finally accepted HT's offer to invest in her company.

Now, as usual, typical ML as investor & FL as the one he invests money in… HT teaches or ‘mentoring’ JX closely… And as MDL told us, with HT backing, JX’s entrepreneurial journey begins to gain momentum. And as HT & JX collaborate closely, their professional relationship starts to deepen, and of course in the end romance sparks fly.
But unfortunately even though HT has deep feelings for JX, he still can’t forget his identity as businessman & investor. One thing led to another, eventually that’s what caused misunderstandings between JX & HT. That in the end at one time made JX run away from HT & they broke up. Just to be reunited in the end… Haha…. Ok. That’s pretty much the story about JX & HT.

Now, the other side story…

JX has 3 best friends, Li Li, Tu Xiao Meng (XM) & Wei Qiu Zi (QZ). But in the drama it’s more about 2 of them, Lili & XM. Cause you can say QZ love story not crossed with HT & JX story.

1st Wei Qiu Zi (QZ). When JX separated from HT, she had a boyfriend, Shao Yi Chen (YC). When JX was about to start her company YC really saw the differences that cannot be crossed between JX & himself, so YC just broke up with JX. QZ, who turned out had long feelings for YC, began chasing & finally they ended up being together.

2nd Tu Xiao Meng (XM). XM is an online influencer & JX’s roommate. Lu Lin Jia (LJ) originally didn’t like XM, due to her bickering with LJ idol. But when they get closer, LJ finds out XM has her own charm & starts to fall for her. XM that thinks LJ as one of her friends never really thinks more about LJ as a man. But time goes by and so the friendship becomes closer & the feelings start to spark too… With the help of LJ’s mom, they finally end up together.

3rd Li Li. Lili is one of the top sales marketers. But because of one problem, she quit her job & later she decided to join JX’s company as their sales director. Su Zhi Zhou (ZZ) long admired Lili, but Lili is in a relationship with Xiao Yi Xiao (YX) & Lili thinks ZZ is still quite immature. So their relationship bloomed late.

Ok. That’s pretty much the story. Now let’s talk about what I like and don’t.

What I like:
+ The mature JX & HT. Although there’s some misunderstanding about HT’s intention for JX’s company, in the end JX understands about HT’s real intention for her company.
+ The communication between JX & HT. Once again, although there’s some misunderstanding between JX & HT, I really like how in the end JX communicates what she dislikes about HT’s behavior & intention. And how HT starts to fix what he lacks…
+ The growth of JX. We can watch how JX blooms to amazing women on our screen.
+ The growth of ZZ. At the beginning of the drama, ZZ was indeed not so ‘mature’, but when he took care of the business & when JX left he started his own maturity & till the end proved that he can be relied on.
+ Lili is a complex yet interesting woman. I really adore her when she can cut loose YX & later just treat him as a fellow businessman. She knows what she wants & she grabs it fully with her heart. & she proves herself as a worthy companion & true friend for JX.
+ Xiao Yi Xiao (YX). XY adores Lili & wants to be with her. But he is also a mature man that knows what he wants & not. & I really like him when he dares to tell Lili the truth about what he wants for their relationship.
+ Lu Lin Jia (LJ) is a childish man. But when he set his heart to the right place he bloomed & became a man that knew his responsibility. I love his relationship with his mom. His mom is also one adorable mom…
+ Shao Yi Chen (YC). Oh I adore him when he can let go of his ego, feeling & decided to break up with JX. He knows JX is not fit for his future & aside from how long his relationship & his own feelings with JX he dares to break up, that’s really adorable…
+ Wei Qiu Zi. She’s one good friend. Although she’s long crush on YC, she never really acts on it. Until YC & JX broke up. Although I’m sure many condemn her behavior. But for me, when you have a long crush (serious crush not just puppy love or admiration) with your best friend boyfriend & can wait calmly and not act anything harmful to your friend or their relationship. That’s something you have to admire.
+ Tang Song (TS) [Han Ting's assistant]. Oh this one very capable assistant. Not many in dramas have I seen an assistant as capable as TS. Usually, it’s either become friendly with ML or they just simply never told us the story. The assistant is sometimes just like an unimportant character in the background.

What I don’t like:
- JX is a childish woman sometimes. She ‘eats’ fully what Zeng Di (ZD) said & not trust HT in the end. But yeah I understand the manipulation that ZD did.
- ZD. UGH…. I hate that woman. She is one stupid woman that doesn't want to let her ambition & feelings for HT. She can’t even see one nice guy in front of her, although he already gives her his real intention.

Overall this is really one good business romance drama with many interesting characters to be told…

Story about 4 girls, about friendship, about women's perception & expectations from the world…

Haerang, Ji-eun, Doh-yung and Hwi first met when they're assigned to group projects. And this short drama tells their story. Each girl gets 1 ep…

1st. Haerang
Haerang is an aspiring actress. Like many girls, she's struggling with her body image. Fortunately for her, Yoo-jin helped her.

This 1st story tells us to accept who we are.

2nd. Ji-eun
Ji-eun is a lesbian. She has a girlfriend, but pretty much still in the closet. She's having problems with her girlfriend because her GF feels insecure about their relationship. Not only because they're in the closet but also because her GF feels Ji-eun can get someone better from her.

This 2nd story tells us about who will stand by our side in the end.

3rd. Doh-yung
Doh-yung is the eldest daughter in her family. Her family is not so rich, so to help her family she tries to support herself & her family. She feels so much pressure from the burden.

This 3rd story tells us that burden sometimes doesn't need to be carried alone.

4th. Hwi
We don't get much from Hwi, because this episode tells about women's perception about their decisions to not be married. Hwi made a documentary about why women nowadays don't want to be married.

Each girl gives their perceptions. Haerang had bad relationships with boys, where they're not respect women. Ji-eun can't be married because she's a lesbian. Doh-yung heard many negative stories about married women in the workforces. Hwi herself, doesn't want to be beaten like her mother.

So yeah, this short drama gives us a little bit of an explanation about the rising topic about not-married relationships, especially from women' s point of view…

how to find the 'perfect' match

Quite wonder about this. Finally have time to watch this one… Let’s start my review… Fair warning, this gonna be a long one...

Set during the cultural peak of the Northern Song Dynasty. The story begins when Madam Li, a wealthy widow from Luoyang, decides that her local pond is too small for her five talented—but notoriously difficult to marry—daughters. Seeking better prospects and a grander stage, she uproots the entire family and moves them to Bianjing, the empire’s bustling and sophisticated capital.

Madam Li’s mission is to secure "perfect matches" for her daughters, but each daughter presents a unique challenge to the traditional matchmaking standards of the time.

The eldest, Shouhua (SH), calm, responsible & carries the grace of the family but she is a young widow. Her husband died due to chronic illness & now she must navigate the social stigmas of being a young widow.

Later, SH finds an unexpected connection with a gentle scholar, Du Yangxi (YX). Li's family saved YX, due to obligation & repaying their kindness, YX betrothed to Kang Ning (KN). But KN married another, so in the end he reluctantly married SH. Proud & initially resentful of the arrangement, YX first keeps SH at arm’s length. But over time, YX’s pride softens as he recognizes the depth of SH resilience and the quiet strength she brings to his life. At the end he stops seeing her as a compromise and begins choosing her as an equal partner.

The second daughter, Fu Hui (FH), is sharp-tongued, intelligent, and unafraid to speak her mind. She’s the only daughter that’s already married. Her husband, Huang Shengchi, is the "man-child" of the family. He is well-meaning and kind-hearted but lacks the ambition and back-bone that FH desperately wants him to have.

The challenge for her is how to ‘straighten’ up her husband, making him have more back-bone as the man of the house. Through shared crises, Fuhui learns to temper her temper and communicate rather than retreat into defiance, while Fan Lianghan matures from a carefree husband into a protective, accountable partner. Their romance is not about finding perfection, but about choosing to grow together through small compromises, honest apologies, and the quiet realization that they are each other’s safest harbor.

The third daughter, Kang Ning (KN), is intelligent, bold, often speaking her mind and acting with confidence, overall she possesses a sharp wit that intimidates most suitors. Her path crosses with Chai An (CA), a shrewd and pragmatic businessman who values profit, logic, and control. Their relationship begins not with attraction, but with tension—frequent disagreements, competitive interactions, and clashing perspectives, especially in matters related to business and decision-making.

At first, KN finds CA cold and overly calculating, while he sees her as troublesome and unpredictable. As they continue to challenge one another, their rivalry gradually softens into mutual respect. Over time, this respect grows into a balanced partnership. Their love story is built on equality: neither dominates, neither yields unnecessarily, and both learn that partnership is stronger than solitary ambition.

The 4th daughter, Haode (HD), is the doe in the family. Unlike her sister, HD is gentle, soft-spoken, deeply observant, and quietly resilient.

HD met Shen Huizhao (HZ) through a legal case involving the Li family. HD accompanies & defends her mother in the Kaifeng government office where HZ serves as the iron-faced, impartial judge. His principled demeanor and quiet authority leave a deep impression on her, and she develops an immediate admiration for his character.

While HD is smitten, HZ has sworn off marriage entirely due to a traumatic childhood experience. Unbeknownst to him, his grandmother—hoping to soften his rigid worldview and continue the family line—arranges a marriage with HD while he is away on official duties.

When HZ returns home, he is shocked to find HD already as his wife. He immediately rejects the arrangement telling her the marriage does not count since he never consented. HD, at first feeling humiliated and heartbroken, runs back to the Li household alone. On the way, she injures her foot—but HZ, despite his cold words, follows her and quietly tends to her wound, revealing the first crack in his emotional armor. This moment of unexpected tenderness, paired with his grandmother's firm support for HD, sets the stage for their contractual marriage to gradually evolve into genuine partnership.

HD’s compassion gradually softens HZ's rigid worldview, while his steadfast integrity gives her the confidence to voice her own convictions. Their love is a slow accumulation of trust, respect, and mutual understanding.

The 5th daughter, Li Leshan (LS) is the youngest of the five Li sisters, defined by a bold, unapologetic personality shaped by privilege and fierce familial loyalty. Her temperament is fiery and impulsive, unlike her more reserved or strategically minded sisters, Leshan is outspoken, physically assertive, and quick to defend her family—earning her a reputation as the "troublemaker" who believes "violence is the answer" when provoked.

LS and Yang Xian's story begins with conflict. Yang Xian (YX), the notorious young noble of Bianjing, encounters the Li family when he publicly flirts with and harasses the eldest sister, SH, on the street. LS, fiercely protective of her siblings, does not hesitate, humiliated him in public. This is the first time the privileged YX has ever been publicly shamed, and he immediately vows revenge against the Li family. The grudge deepens when YX, who has been pressured by his father to accept an arranged marriage, decides to rebel by taking a concubine first. He targets the Li daughters, attempting to force KN into becoming his concubine as retaliation. However, the clever Kang Ning outmaneuvers him.

Their paths cross again when HD and LS, visiting a temple with Shen's family, are trapped by bandits. Leshan, the only one to escape the ambush, flees into the town try to find help—where along the way she literally runs into Yang Xian and his group of carefree nobles out riding. Recognizing her as "the Li girl," YX seizes the opportunity for revenge: he has his men tie her up. LS, defiant even in captivity, refuses to beg. Instead, she negotiates: she promises to serve as his servant for three years if he will rescue her sister HD and the others. YX, intrigued by her boldness, agrees. He leads his men to storm the bandits' hideout, successfully rescuing HD and the Shen family women.

After the rescue, LS has no intention of honoring her promise. To her, YX remains a bully who took advantage of her desperation. She avoids him at every turn, and YX, waiting for her to come to him, grows increasingly frustrated. Meanwhile, both families move forward with marriage arrangements: LS is betrothed to the gentle, respectable He Guangyuan, while YX is engaged to a noblewoman from the Yan family.

Knowing time is running out, YX orchestrates a daring plan: on the day of LS's wedding, he bribes members of the procession to switch the bridal sedan chairs. When the veils are lifted, LS finds herself not in the He household, but in YX's home—married to him by circumstance and imperial recognition of the ceremony.

The forced marriage ignites their true dynamic: LS refuses to submit, turning the Yang household upside down with her fiery temper, while YX, initially amused, gradually finds himself drawn to her authenticity, courage, and unwillingness to be tamed. Their romance is not built on pursuit or grand gestures, but on friction, mutual challenge, and the slow recognition that beneath their combative exteriors, they share a desire for genuine connection and freedom from familial expectations.

Last but not least, Qiong Nu (QN), is the Li family's adoptive daughter, taken in by Madam Li at age six after being orphaned and left to wander the streets of Luoyang. Unlike the five biological sisters who each have distinct, bold personalities, QN is defined by quiet competence, gentle humility, and a deep sense of gratitude.

QN's backstory is intertwined with profound loss. Madam Li originally intended for her to marry her only son, Fan'er, making QN not just an adopted daughter but a future daughter-in-law. Tragically, Fan'er died while attempting to rescue QN from danger—falling into a river, his body never recovered. This shared grief creates a complex emotional dynamic: Madam Li loves QN deeply and secretly prepares a dowry for her equal to her biological daughters, yet she cannot fully suppress a flicker of unconscious resentment, knowing that QN's survival came at the cost of her son's life. QN, acutely aware of this tension, carries quiet guilt alongside her gratitude, which makes her hesitant to assert her own desires.

QN represents the quiet struggle of those who exist in the margins of family narratives. Her arc explores questions of belonging, worth, and whether love must be earned or is inherent. While the five sisters' romances take center stage, QN's journey is subtler: it is about learning that she does not need to "earn" her place through sacrifice or silence, and that her value is not diminished by her adoptive status.

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.

What I like:
+ How every daughter have their own arc & story to tell, including QN in the end
+ The relationship between all the daughters & son-in-law…
+ The surprise plot twist in the end… with QN’s match…
+ All the tricks & problems for the couple…

Overall this is a really great drama. Watch it, never regret it…

In the Beiyuan Kingdom, a dark and tragic curse looms over the royal family: every emperor dies young. Because of this, being named Crown Prince isn’t an honor—it’s a death sentence.

And so, the princes do everything they can to avoid the throne.

Xiao He, the eldest prince, plays the role of a lazy, irresponsible playboy—constantly seen partying, flirting, and acting utterly unfit to rule. He’s not really useless—he’s just faking it perfectly.

While Xiao He plays the role of a “messy playboy,” the second prince, Xiao Yu, adopts a more refined version of uselessness. He pretends to be fragile and sickly—coughing on cue, fainting at banquets, always needing rest. By appearing physically "unfit" to rule, he ensures the Emperor will never pick him to be the next successor. But behind closed doors, he’s strong, sharp, and fully capable.

Then there’s Xiao Mo, the third prince—the only one who actually wants the crown. Eager and ambitious, he sees his brothers’ “failings” as proof that he should be chosen. He constantly tries to prove himself the most competent. In his constant attempts to prove his worth, he unknowingly plays right into his brothers’ plans to stay out of power.

What the princes don’t realize is that their father, the Emperor, sees through all of their schemes. After all, he was once a prince himself—terrified of the throne and the curse that comes with it. Unbeknownst to them, the Emperor has his own plan for choosing a successor.

That plan begins with Fu Qi, a spirited and clever princess from Dongling Kingdom, who arrives in Beiyuan for a political marriage alliance. However, her reason for accepting the marriage is far more personal than diplomacy.

Fu Qi’s father, the King of Dongling, has been stripped of his power and is effectively under the control of a corrupt and powerful Prime Minister. To reclaim her kingdom, Fu Qi needs external political influence and military backing—something only a powerful marriage alliance can provide.

To make that happen, Fu Qi becomes the ‘Lucky Princess’ that makes sure her husband becomes Crown Prince. And the "lucky" prince chosen? Xiao He, the eldest prince.

So now, the game shifts.
Fu Qi must turn the kingdom’s biggest slacker into its next heir—no matter how much he resists.

Now the questions:
> Who will succeed in the end?
Will Xiao He successfully avoid the crown at all costs, or will Fu Qi manage to push him onto the throne, whether he likes it or not?

> What about the curse itself?
Is it truly real—or is there something far more sinister behind it?

> And what of Xiao He and Fu Qi’s relationship?
Will their marriage remain a political partnership, or will genuine love grow between them?

> And finally—what will happen to the Dongling Kingdom?
Will Fu Qi succeed in restoring her father to power?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers.

Overall for short dramas this is really interesting. A very unique story, usually we get the prince that put the dagger into their brother just for the throne, but this one we get the reverse act. We also get a complete plot with clear beginning, middle & end.

In the end this short drama is really worth your time to watch…

So much hype about this drama on the feed. Let's check this out.

The story is about Wu Qi Qiong (QQ), a young man from a poor family. QQ gets dumped by his girlfriend, Yue Yue (YY), simply because of his background. Not only that—YY who’s now dating a rich guy, repeatedly insults and even assaults QQ together with her new lover.

In one of these encounters, QQ is injured and ends up at a private clinic run by Dr. Guo Cheng Yu (CY). CY treats him, and they become friends. QQ also starts living at the clinic.

Humiliated and heartbroken, QQ decides to reinvent himself. He changes his name to Wu Suo Wei (SW) and vows to reclaim his dignity. He dreams of rebuilding his life and launching his own business one day, not for money, but to reclaim his dignity.

As SW steps into this new chapter, he frequently crosses paths with Chi Cheng (CC), the spoiled heir to a powerful family business. When SW finds out that CC is now dating his ex, YY, he decides to take revenge—by seducing CC himself.

Even though SW has no interest in men, he commits to the plan. He even asks CY for advice on how to seduce another man.

But here’s the twist: **CC is actually gay.** He’s only dating YY to keep his parents off his back. And truthfully, he’s been interested in SW from the very beginning. And so begins a playful yet dangerous game of cat and mouse between them.

As SW spends more time with CC, he begins to see the real man behind the cold, arrogant façade. CC isn’t just a privileged heir; he’s trapped, lonely, and hiding who he truly is.

And before SW realizes it… To his own surprise, his feelings begin to shift. What started as a game of revenge slowly turns into something real—something romantic.

So, how will this unexpected love story unfold?
Will CC’s family accept them—or will they face serious opposition?
And also…
What happens when CC finds out why SW first got close to him?
Will CC be hurt? Angry? Will CC be able to forgive SW—or will it tear them apart?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoilers. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ How cdrama finally dared to put BL drama into the air…
+ The interesting story of the 2nd couple, CY & Jiang Xiao Shuai (XS)
+ Interesting friendships between CC & XS or SW & CY
+ interesting choices of names. You can read more in https://kisskh.at/discussions/793270-revenged-love/142836-the-hidden-meaning-behind-the-names-in-revenged-love

What I don't like:
- Interesting concepts. But quite lacking in implementation. Especially in the end. It feels like they skip a few steps ahead.

Overall I feel this is more like an overhyped drama…

Hm... Where should I even begin this...

Story about Archaeological expert Professor Chen who discovered a jade pendant. Since he discovered this jade pendant, he started having dream about a girl and a general.

In this dream, the girl [Meng Yun(MY)] is running from a man (Huduna). Later we find out that Huduna is a king who wants to married MY. Huduna wanted to merried MY not only because she's pretty, but because MY also hold the key to greater treasure that been kept by Great Shaman.

In the real world, Professor Chen also try to discovered this treasure. But of course not because he wants to keep it for himself, but to give it to the country and to learn about this missing history. So how the treasure hunt ends...?

That's pretty much the story without giving anymore spoiler. Now what I like and don't.

What I like:
+ Great landscape. Especially in the end
+ Good acting skill. Jackie chan movie never disappointed me with their character acting skill and combat scene.

What I don't:
- Quite boring story. This basically remake of myth with a little different story.
- The joke on the AI generated face. They try to make Jackie Chan younger but this one of the the bad results of the failed CGI. From the comment, the younger general is played by Zheng Ye Cheng. Such unfortunates for Zheng Ye Cheng.

Overall just watch if you're the fans of the actor/ess played here

See this on the feed. Wow... Wang Yi Bo & Dilireba.... Of course I have to watch this... Luckily for us this available on YouTube with eng sub. Here the link for you who want to watch this... https://youtu.be/VhGLnkTzEes?si=UKPbTsCIE7f5GsCq

Like Sidhika Trisha wrote this is definitely long advertisement, especially for Oppo & they obviously already said that from the beginning. This adv very creatively highlights a few features about the phone, especially the camera function. But that's doesn’t mean this only about advertising, this adv have story to tell that's really enjoyable to watch...

Well like Sidhika Trisha also already wrote, 'this is about a guy who loves dancing and would do anything to continue learning dance.' One day that guy, Lin Jin (LJ), meet interesting girl, Xiao Zi (XZ), that's promise to help LJ find his core dance if LJ do several task that XZ gave for him. And like karate kid story, every thing that XZ ask LJ did, eventually to help him with his dancing... And in the end LJ learn to include every little thing that his do in his daily life to his dancing moves....

And yes see Yi Bo & Dilireba together for this short duration make us want to scream: "GIVE US DRAMA WITH THEM AS MAIN COUPLE!!!!!" Haha....

One trashy short drama

Long time not watch short drama that so trash like this. Find it on the feed & watch it for my mini series Challenge.

This like collection video shoot for tik-tok, where i think the uploader not upload completely, or at least the one that I've watch. So yeah it's like missing a few chunk of the story or video to make some scene make sense. Like why the ML suddenly decided to give distance to FL, why he suddenly collapse... The one that I've watch have no explanation about it. And the moment they fall in love also feel abupt & no special moment.

So yeah if you need this to complete the challenge like myself you may watch it. If not just moving on & find other better short drama

Not too interested watching this. But a few pitching from YouTube makes me want to watch this. So here I am finished watch this drama. As expected this drama not really my cup of tea, but this drama quite makes sense & Liang Shao Xue & Tian Yong is just so cute, they're the one that actually make me hang till the end.

Make sense logic:
+ The first thing that makes me very berry happy is they use English when they meet foreigner.... They not make the foreigner speak Chinese fluently, but as happen in the real life they must use English to communicate instead.
+ Liang Mu Ze (MZ) & Xia Chu (XC) not just jumping into relationships when they realize they like each other. Many thing must be considered, especially regarding MZ job as military man.
+ One woman that really hard to understand is Xiao Xiao. She's like a backstabber & selfish b*tch that willing to do anything to safe herself. But that's a reality of life isn't it. Sometimes drama make the story so beautiful, that FL/ML have all the friend in the work that seem willing to do anything for them. But in real life sometimes friend at work not your friend, they just colleagues that will safe themselves if necessary. And that not always mean they the bad friend or bad people.
+ I really want to change the ending for Tian Yong (TY). But once again that's life. We can't always save everyone. And sometimes that bitter pill we need to swallow.

what I like:
+ Liang Shao Xue (SX) & TY is just a cute couple. Like how they complete each other, the hyperactive SX & the quiet TY. We can see how they kinda influence each other, how TY make SX more calm & mature & SX kinda make TY more open. TY also make SX understand the sacrifice that her dad must do.
+ Johnny Huang & Li Qin quite a cute couple. I quite like their chemisty. Really like how cute MZ kinda protect XC from his mom after they together.
+ The friendship between XC & Mi Gu (MG). That's one tight & true friendship with all the support they need & have. Even beyond man, no man can break their relationship as 'sister'

The minus:
- The idealist that we gonna recognize the boy or girl that we like after that long year of separation & not meet or have their picture. Haha... I mean the first time Zhuo Ran (ZR) & XC meet again after high school, they immediately just recognize each other. How...? Yeah I know sometimes we don't change much, but that kind recognition is kinda weird & 'magical'. Haha...
- XC too idealis as a doctor, but at the same time she also use too much feeling for her patient sometimes. Like with the lung transplant girl (I forgot her name).
- The weird rejection from XC's dad toward MZ and the weird behavior from XC's dad overall. We never really got the explanation about XC's dad weird behavior, all the paranoia regarding his research, and more over why Lao Ye (the drug lord) need his research in the first place. Also the reason for his rejection regarding MZ & XC relationship, is it because ZR kinda whisper bad thing about MZ or just cause the MZ job itself....?
- The stupid slave love that MG has for ZR. She know for sure ZR has feeling for XC but still hang to that feeling, even let ZR played her several times. Although I kinda happy how in the end she still use her head to make a decision instead just use her heart.
- Sometimes the scene not make sense. Kinda like there something in the middle but they cut it in post production. Like when MZ suddenly get worse after his operation. Or like how sudden MG change her thought regarding ZR. Yeah I know they explained later on, but still kinda missing something in the middle.
- The weirdest and no reason to go for MZ & XC in the first place...

Overall this mature drama, that not filled with the angst but mature thing & some scene regarding military....

many plot holes

I love this drama, but for me this drama has a little too many plot holes that make me have to lower the score. I can't bring it to the 7⭐️, so I settle with 6.5⭐️. A little warning! I'll gonna write a spoiler. If you don't wanna know just skip reading my review then.

The good point:
+ Lu Wan Wan (WW) & Han Jing Mo (JM) is a cute couple. Really love how JM stand up for WW, especially the confessing scene in the award ceremony, that's a lot of balls to pull to make such announcement at the big event, even bolder that he do it before consulting with his agent.
+ JM openness to WW's parent. Really admire him when he admits that he rather lose than cheating the chess game.

The plot holes:
- The confession scene between WW & JM feel like anti climatic. It just happen like that, like nothing important.
- The reveling of JM as Mo Bai Zhi Jian also feel like something amiss
- The difference in JM character. At first JM is like a little boy that really like to annoy the girl that he likes, but suddenly after he gets jealous he change to just a protector of WW.
- The weird connection to their childhood. Why not make it something bigger or more important, like JM look for this girl & so happy to find out that it's turn out to be WW. If don't want why don't just erase it at all. The childhood story feel like just a flash & unimportant part.
- Zhao Jing Hang (JH) feeling toward WW is never really clear. Is it love or is it just sibling love...? They always said it's only sibling love, but when WW & JM finally together we can see how sad JH is.
- JH & Guan Yi Wei relationship in the end is also never clear. I know they not the main focus, but is the relationship finally bloom or not we get the final result.
- The weird relationship between Lu Guang Han (GH) & Xia Lin Xi, they suddenly together without warning...
- The weird relationship between GH & Gu Qiao Bei (QB). If I must put a word into this it feels like GH is a weird stalker of QB. I never saw a man that more insist into recruit new actor to his firm as much as GH want to recruit QB. At one time GH make me feel like he's not only try to recruit QB as his actor but more of he tries to chase QB as his boyfriend. Haha...
- Is WW still a student or not...? I think she already graduate cause she never go into class or give clue that at least she's not graduate yet, but a little conversation from Zhao Jing Hang (JH) or Lu Guang Han (GH) (i forget who said it) indicate otherwise. I think she's not graduate yet, so why not she's in school...? Or if she only need to practice why don't we at least get to see the graduate scene in the end? Does she drop it in the end...? Very not clear.

Overall this actually quite good drama, with comedy & romance. But nothing feel amiss if you don't watch it...

How crazy are you willing to do for 'love'?

Finally finished watch this after delay it for quite sometimes. Thinking & thinking to watch or not because of Chen Yu Qi. For me this girl is no FL material yet. I love her character in ashes, but as long as she play the lead role / FL, almost feel lack of something. Sorry for her fans. But at the same time I want to watch Dylan Wang after Love Between Fairy and Devil, so yeah finally I decided to watch this & hang till the end because of Dylan & Peter Ho.

How crazy are you willing to do for 'love'? Here we have Murong Gao Gong (GG) that willing to do anything just to make sure Bu Yin Lou (YL) be his, even with the lack of cooperative & willingness from YL herself. GG is an unfavored princes that have opportunities to take the throne, due to all his relative is dead & he is as the closest heir. GG himself has very week personality & when he takes the throne he became quite insecure. Unfortunately he choose the wrong way & pick power to control everyone that don't obey him.

At the same time we have Xiao Duo (XD), head eunuch & have all the power to control the military & court. He has one purpose to find his brother killer & take revenge. With time he encounter YL & fall in love with her. In the end they found out the one killed XD's brother is related to YL & he decided to just give up the revenge in the name of love. And last he finally give every thing that he has just to be with YL....

OK. Now our girl, Bu Yin Lou (YL). She is one free spirited girl that love freedom, she is smart & witty. She is falling in love with XD, the man that up & down try to do everything for her & give his best to give her freedom. Unfortunately we got Chen Yu Qi as YL, she can't portray YL perfectly. Although I quite like her in the end, where she like crazy & the talk with GG is done well. But maybe if someone else be YL, it's gonna be better...

What I love:
+ The chemistry between Dylan Wang & Chen Yu Qi not as bad as I imagine. Quite like to see them together.
+ Peter Ho give amazing performance as GG. We can see how insecure he is, how he crave love from YL, and every little feeling that GG has we can feel it.
+ The adorable Tong Yun & Cao Chun Ang

Overall this drama pulled by Dylan Wang & Peter Ho performance.
