Ep 21 - another emotional rollercoaster ride packed with humor, happiness and tears. The reunion between our “little” couple was so heartwarming. Then I was happy to see the four hooligans again, and then I teared up when CY was with them after.

I guess…for me there was nothing really to admire about a girl walking barefoot haha.
I can understand his admiration growing over time, but at the same time, seeing how the show nicely developed the relationship between YZ and CY, him being in love felt a bit unrealistic.

I guess I had high expectations seeing how they built up the romance between YZ and CY so nicely. So I was surprised by there was none when it came to LHA. It was like boom, he’s interested!

Yeah but there was no build up to it…feels a bit sudden…

Right? I felt like there was no catalyst for his interest other than he was asked to take care of the Fan sisters. Then he became more vested in Chang Yu’s affairs but nothing to really make him admire her more.

Did I miss something - how did Li Huai An start caring for Chang Yu more? I know he could just be a good person and wanting to help her but I get the impression that he’s interested. I know from the novel he’s supposed to be her admirer but I don’t remember any scene that would have pushed him into that yet?

I appreciate the show highlighting Bai Liang Liang’s background but I don’t pity her at all… her reasoning is the saddest excuse for doing what she did.
Before her, I want to see Rao Yu Ci take her scumbag ex first!

There better not be any redemption arc for them!
