Surprisingly but in a good way, the show did not feature her parents' opinions much in the way she's handling LiXian. She's totally ignoring them :D

I like Xuanye but boy, can that guy preach...he mansplains quite a lot too, especially at BanXia. Thank goodness, Banxia calls him out and gives him a well-deserved scolding every now and then

I'm worried that she is going to trick him out of giving her his skin/appearance permanently and then she'll get rid of him before heading to play for the emperor :(

Not yet - next episode. So far he's been happy-go-lucky and quite likable actually.

Well kind of, she's being hot and cold...I also think it's quite smart of BX the way she's handling Xuanye...she's not totally avoiding him, and still acting normal but every chance she gets, she reminds him of what a big mistake he's made

I hope so too - she should be grateful for what Chilian's done and is willing to continue to provide for her, but nope - her human desires and greed will destroy him. I really hope that he survives and she, as a man or woman will get her karma!

Maybe...but why dd she forget the women that she just saved...not sure if you watched that part yet but you'll see what I mean. The story is unfolding in a new direction with her not remembering slowly...

It was a cute moment because we incuding Xuanye thought that they had made up :D

Actually I think her steps are quite big - doing what she did to LiXian and telling Xuanye, despite all his self-righteousness, she was still better than he was!

He's so innocent and accepting. I hope things end well for him!

Ah, seems like human nature will prevail in the end...XingXian looks like s/he is up to no good...I feel bad for Chilian...he got a second chance from Xuanye but I guess he won't end well anyway

True! Speaking of likable, BX is becoming more endearing each episode! The way she told Chi Xue he can continue starving since she’s not made up yet with XY. 😆 At least that motivated XY.

Li Xian is actually quite likable...I hope he would back out gracefully in the end.

At first I thought it was way too easy for Xuanye to kill Banxia's problem but it turned out to be just the start of something more complex - so the severed connection is making Banxia forget certain things?
