Wow, loving the visual feast today...very good distraction from the bumps in our couple's love life. Good pacing in the show - brought the focus back to the mystery and demon hunting.

I am not even mad at Xuanye for being all so practical and listening to BX's father because Banxia's reactions were awesome! Our girl is no doormat and I love her initiative and candidness. Xuanye was just rendered speechless.

These latest demons are so fine, I hope they survive...They didn't even start out showing evil intentions...just getting rid of scum from the world

Some viewers mentioned that episodes 5 and 6 were particularly emotional, but I already found myself teary-eyed by the end of episode 4.

I initially started watching this drama because of Qin Hao and Han Geng, but it quickly became clear that there is so much more to appreciate. The storytelling is deeply compelling, with human interactions portrayed so well through excellent acting. The music soundtrack perfectly complements the mood of each scene, the lighting is used so effectively, and the cinematography is simply stunning.

This drama has truly drawn me in far beyond what I expected. Now onto eps 5 & 6 which I am sure will wreck me even more.

Could be but her wariness seems too extreme. Aloofness I get but her mothr seems to have some kind of fear...

Oh my gosh, that brings back memories! Yeah - our world is not inclusive enough to give us a proper HE when it comes to cross species...

By the way, I'm just starting ep 24 and I wonder if BX's mother being so afraid of her is because of what you suspected, that she's a demon

She could have become part demon when Manying/Xuanye's blood went into her left eye. Maybe his blood fusing with her body.

It will be interesting if she was naturally half demon or full demon. Then I can at least imagine a happier ending for the couple.

Otherwise, it is still 50/50 whether we will get a HE or SE (open ending)

Ah so that's how it went down. That's even worse :( Poor Xuanye being the noble idiot, and poor Banxia for having to go through the misunderstanding. I don't know what Xuanye said to break up with Banxia but I hope it is not too heartbreaking like he never liked her that much or she is not suitable for him or his life etc.

The third story was by far the best. I have not watched ep 24 yet so I have something to look forward to - the rare scene of Allen doing something he is known for not doing :D

I guess Constable Chu is interested in someone else for now...I wasn't expecting that but it may motivate Xuanye a bit.

Saw ep 25 preview - Must Banxia's parents be obstacles to their love as well? Banxia knowing what she knows already, has bigger things to worry about :(

I pitied the villain in the first story, but the one in the second story and the little evil one in this third story really got on my nerves.

Not bad - I enjoyed the first two episodes but they were not entirely gripping. I’ll have to watch more episodes before deciding.
