You might want to read the article becasue it was a clear copyright violation of the author's own creative works, which was inspired by history but still his own designs. The show acknowledged it and apologized which luckily, the author accepted. So it is resolved.

It's pretty predictable what happened to the teacher. The ML is clearly a good guy playing a role to "keep the enemy closer".

Actually I think the show was already hinting at that way before ep 12.
