That conversation between Mu Dan and Chang Yang in ep 13 was intense and full of suspense. He obviously was testing…
He didn't actually find her...that was only in her nightmare. However, he clearly knew that it was her, but still gave her an out by telling her that she should remain a wise person forever.
I think we can guess what really happened to Master Xu....I was actually hoping for Mudan to cave under the interrogation so that JCY would tell her the truth....hopefully she will find out soon. How Mudan described LC's feelings for her in ep 13 was so true...it can also be applied to the Princess' affection for LC. I really hope he gets a redemption arc and works together with JCY to take down the villain (I won't spoil it here).
There’s so much to praise about ep 31! The opening scenes alone, with such effective use of music and silence, matched with the camera work…hilarious! Kudos to the director, Deng Ke!
So cliched but so fun to watch. I guess they are seriously going to continue having Lee Eun not know but yet still feel affected by HDS, questioning himself. I really like Jun Hwa and his dimples but alas, he is destined to be the good friend. Like everyone else, I think Mae Hwa is not the villain, and she has a secret agenda of protecting the FL. We shall see...
Ahh so true, I groaned when I saw them. But trust me...these men are only echos of their past. Both women have…
Like the ML, I had faith in the FL and knew that she would rise up against the latest incident. I was more worried about Wu Niang and all the scheming against her, but then Da Fu showed up :D I am looking forward to the FL assembling her group of women and, together, like you said, forge a new path!
Too few moments between Ling An and XQA. I just like the way their big eyes gaze at each other, and their expressions speaking volumes without the need for words.
So much fun in eps 29 & 30 - even the serious characters are not so serious after all! - Panda eyes Nangong - Cheesy couple - Hopefully enemies to lovers couple (luckily they didn't complete the sworn siblings ceremony)
She starts a new life from ep. 6-7 onwards. And FL’s scheming was good to get out of the marriage and divorce.…
I'm glad that she escaped the Liu family, but I really wanted some punishment for them. Seems like only Liu Chang will suffer, and I actually feel bad for him. Yes, he has a lot of flaws but the same traits that made him kind of decent were also his downfall since he had to yield to his parents. The FL still had to go through so much after getting away from that family, but hopefully, since she now has the ML close by, she can turn her life around. I really don't want to spend the majority of the show watching the FL constantly suffering like in Brocade Odyssey.
I’m watching ep 1 and the Liu in-laws are so hateful! Those who already watched more episodes, can you spoil by sharing if I would get the satisfaction of seeing them suffer soon? Thank you!
I enjoyed this slice-of-life drama. It’s like chicken soup for the soul, with interesting characters and its focus on family, romantic love and individual aspirations. The best part of the show for me was the two main couples, and that’s where the show fell short for me. I wanted more of the romance and the show felt rushed in completing their stories. This is one drama where I wish was longer. That way I could continue appreciating the leads’ chemistry annd each couple was so likable together. Ultimately I did like the ending but was left not feeling completely satisfied. Only because I wanted more of it.
