I like the camaderie between GZY, Master Xue and his sidekick. They clearly support him over GSJ and think that he would be a better leader...I hope that they will continue to be on his side...

I think Jin Fan does like Zishang or at least he doesn't mind her attention on him. Once that is gone, he will feel it for sure!

Yrah, let's agree to disagree ;D In my case, the women in my family are like that - it takes a lot now to rile them up. Between my sister who is 7 years older and my cousins who range from 5 - 10 years older than me, they have gone through enough disappointments in life to advise me not to care so much. Their motto is "this too shall pass" and it is more important to "do what is best for yourself".

I suspect that this drama will be similar to other slice of life dramas more focused on the growth of the ML and the self-discovery of the FL. So either they get together only towards the end (one show waited until the last episode!) or the FL will have to declare she doesn't care, and they get together sooner...we shall see!

I actually think it’s realistic for matured women to react like her. She’s not too perfect to me, just rational enough to realize that since they are divorced, there is no reason to stop those two from get together. She acknowledged her hurt and anger openly with them but since she clearly doesn’t care anymore about her ex, she is able to move on. She’s also smart to know not to react foolishly and give up on her successful standing in the company. Remember, she did react initially by wanting to leave the company but consistent with her character, she remained rational im the end.
As for her saying her ex was one she trusted the most next to LSS , I took it as in the past context.
As for the relationship with the ML, I think we can probably expect them to be truly together once he’s more established and successful. He pretty much set that up for himself and the audience during his confession . Of course she can change that whole trajectory by telling him she does not care 😁

In ep 19, I don't get how Liang Shan Shan did not even know about Xue getting engaged to Jian Bing if they were such good friends and long time working partners.

I actually thought that the FL handled it very well. She outright called them out on what they did without getting hysterical, she did not assume that they were already sleeping and cheating even before the divorce. She focused on the main points which was the loss of trust she had for them and her anger that they were too cowardly to even tell her aout it.

I hate the way the BF shared all her sob stories just to justify what she did. That was the most annoying part for me but I get that it was realistic since people often do that.

For me, I like how the FL decided to move on. She no longer cared about her ex husband so there was no emotional baggage to drag her down.

It's the scumbag Xue that was totally inappropriate the whole time. How he tried to toast to their friendship and then repeatedly thanked her. That was just shameless. Not even an apology...I am still waiting to see that! 😡

I started off not liking SY's mother because I thought she was so cliched but now, I realize that she is such a great portrayal of an Asian mother. Her recent conversations with SY were heartwarming and I love how she with no hesitation would throw her husband under the bus lol

My favorite part of this drama is definitely SY's family dynamics.

Sadly, I do not enjoy the scenes of JB's sister and Houjie, the whole ice hockey theme and that uncle. I never like it when the show tries to leverage a big name to promote someone new and it's even worse when that new person is taking up so much air time.

Very entertaining and one of the better lakorns I’ve seen in a while. Great chemistry between the leads and Punjan as well as Ball are just visual treats! The story is well developed and despite flaws, is entertaining. It deserves a higher rating!

Haha - she was dreaming of him when in the hospital and before that she was wishy washy wanting to text him but not sending the message..
I think Song Chen (his friend) was spot on when he told SY that he probably scared JB off by his seriousness. He should have given her more time...

Yeah, frustrating episode! Actually not just for SY but also for JB. These two episodes were low points for them. I hope there’s some justice for SY later!
