That’s very plausible. I was thinking that the location was ideal because it was impenetrable and harsh. Besides the Gong family had ways to sustain their lives. However it made sense that there is something they are guarding. Very intriguing!
Right now, GZY is still too hot-headed and immature to take over so I guess YWS will help him navigate his way through wisely. We still don’t know her mission but I don’t think it is as simple as killing the Sword Wielder. Maybe SGQ’s and her missions are to cause internal strife that takes down the whole Gong family. The story so far is well written and acted., There were still cliched characters which I can predict their development but they are not featured i enough to be annoying. More comic relief than anything else. I’m enjoying BBH’s and XZ’s interactions and they play characters that I can totally root for. Like you, I hope the show stays consistent to the end!
I started ep 1 yesterday and thought it was slow and tropey. Now that I’ve binged to ep 9, I would recommend this show. It’s an entertaining slice of life drama focused on gender, age and societal perceptions. Some characters are still cliched but you won’t be disappointed with the main characters. The leads are charismatic and the FL makes decisions that will cause you to cheer for her. BBH is a talented actress whom I have been watching for awhile. XZ who’s the ML has done different shows that proved his acting range and he’s charming in this one. Of course there’s his visuals too 😊 but don’t let that distract you from his acting ability. Overall, I hope the show stays on track. I look forward to the romance but even if it is slow burn, that’s fine too since the show highlights multiple topics that are already interesting in their own right.

No, I meant it’s aired up to 7 episodes and I’m wondering if there will be any progress in either lead’s life or are they still stuck in the same negative phases with the boss and husband? If we still have to deal with those cliched characters, then I will probably watch 2x speed until there is a transition. I like the actress playing the FL though so I’m going to continue for a few more episodes. Those who watched more episodes, will things finally get resolved in the next few episodes and both leads finally move forward to better things in their own lives? Or do we still have to suffer watching the FL’s husband and ML’s boss?
