Sheng Yang's family dynamics are so relatable and very much like the typical Asian family (mine at least). We don't flat out apologize, say please or thank you...Instead, we show it through our gestures and actions. My parents like SY's would often just start talking to each other and doing things for each other like nothing happened even if they had a cold war just before... I have to admit that the scenes made me reflect on how much my siblings and I have taken my mum (and my dad to a certain extent) for granted!
I cannot wait to see how YWS explains herself! Itās been so long since a drama keeps me on the edge of my seat, unable to predict the next scene. The writing is tight too providing details that make sense after they have been revealed to the audience.
I like the FL character! Sheās spunky and willing to own her feelings but rational enough to know when itās time to end her shenanigans. Her actions were not even that cringey compared to other FLs in other shows.

So true. Sheng Yang said things would be better if his parents communicated more effectively. However he didnāt understand his mumās feelings. Many times men are really that clueless!
