Literally, Mata and Penneung have such a healthy relationship. Probably one of the healthiest ones I've ever seen…
So true, they communicate unlike so many other couples 😁 Unfortunately Tri blaming the wrong person is also because of his toxic mom. I don’t like Pang. Even though I think we are supposed to see her as a strong female character, I don’t like her portrayal. Unlike Penneung who decided to just numb his feelings, pretending to go with the flow but silently doing his own thing, Pang fights back but somehow ends up hurting herself even more. You’re right, she needs to be with people who support her and show her that is ok to be vulnerable.
Mata and Penneung are such green flag leads! Mata has her fun crazy family who loves her so much and Penneung luckily has his friends and colleagues including the hospital director for support. At least they know how his father is like, and Penneung does not have to suffer in silence having to pretend to be part of a happy family. In a way I feel bad for Tri and Pang who don’t really have anyone.
Different opinions about the ending but for me this drama deserves its high rating - 1) well executed 2) great pacing 3) interesting characters 4) very engaging dialogue 5) amazing fight scenes 6) on-point humor, melodrama and intrigue 9) excellent chemistry among the actors 8) visual feast for those who care about aesthetics and 10) incredible acting
Why are we getting more new characters when we should be seeing more progress between JW and KH?? I guess the show will focus on them solving the case together and then on the last episode during the last minute, there will be a hint of them getting together lol
One thing this show does well is the introduction of new characters who tie in nicely with the cases. No one seemed superfluous and they were interesting as well. I like this latest addition with Zhan Yun Fei
MLC is a must watch! So consistently good every episode, and the bromance is awesome. I am slowly watching LYF since I know we have to wait for Season 2 ;p
