Mate.... Im so tired from crying ... Used all the boxes and had swollen eyes all day.... I could not even type…
My heart has been heavy since yesterday and today topped it off...I was engrossed in Dilraba's and also Gong Jun's performances. These two just deliver on the emotional scenes.
Like you, I cried along so much with Ziyuan as she grieved. You're spot on about Wenshuo - I kept thinking that for someone younger, he was matured and able to sort through the emotional mess between the Di and Han families.
Hanye - it was all about Ziyuan but also for his country. His was brilliant and yet, he never really lost his innocence. I think right up to before he decided to risk it all, he thought that Ziyuan and he could have a chance in the future. Sadly he lost that hope after Ziyuan's cold rejection. I don't blame Ziyuan, she has good reasons but sadly she is feeling so much regret now.
Tomorrow we will continue to grieve with Ziyuan...
Preview for ep 37 apparently - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8b19JyBaKo We are racing to the finish but I still don't know in which episode I would be crying for another one of my favorite characters
WOW! For a big reveal to be delivered in such a lowkey kind of way, yet have that emotional impact is huge. HY…
Agree! Many comments/complaints about how Wenshuo's identity should have been revealed earlier but now that it happened, I think it was done in the best way possible!
Ep 35 - HIS ultimate sacrifice and HER ultimate regret
The actors delivered again - today's episode was so well done emotionally. Especially the scene between Hanye and Wenshuo. Many were complaining about why Wenshuo's identity was not revealed earlier by the characters who knew but I really thought that the reveal was done in the best and most impactful way possible.
Recurring theme -throwing something in the enemy's eyes lol Amidst my tears I have to laugh at how comical Mobei became...for a brilliant mastermind, Mobei ended up being so easily defeated by Hanye's strategy. It's disappointing how the build up to the war led to such an easy loss for the Northern Jin.
But Mobei is not dead yet...when will that happen? Will it happen?
I also thought that the reunion between Ziyuan and Wenshuo was done well - they were happy but not estatic. Their sadness about Hanye dimmed their reunion.
Soo Young is crushing it as Jin Hee! Love our FL and I don’t know why Eun Mi doesn’t get why her daughter would be upset. Even Mi Jung understands. And the father - he just shows up and expects Jin Hee to deal with it. Jin Soo is too cute - I don’t even find him annoying especially when he’s triggering something in Jae Won lol
I’m all caught with ep 8. This show is different and very interesting. The show focuses on humanity and I cried so much. Still the cases were well written and the pacing is good. Taiwanese shows are underrated.
LLH has such a talent for spinning stories 😂 Poor DFS - he's got good instincts but he has no choice but to go along with LLH's tales for now. Love how FDB is so defensive of LXY - no one can talk badly about him, not even LLH...
I thought we have seen the last of WQM when they said a proper goodbye but now we have her insecure fiance...sigh...I don't want a love triangle...
So far, no complaints about the drama - pacing is good, plot is well-executed. A litte predictable but I like how they get to the conclusion for each case...
@Dedra 70 ,About the poison Han don’t get the credit because LMX wrote her in the letter that it was himself…
Her judgement has been clouded by the recent events. I don't think she even knew that Anning did the ultimate sacrifice for her, ordering LMX to go save her instead of Anning. She was resentful about Hanye killing LMX that I don't think she would have made that leap about him knowing. To me, she was putting a brave cold front so that she does not give in to her true feelings. LMX and her companions also see that.
WTH...that would been epic! Why would they ruin it??? Now I am mad...I cannot imagine that there would be a no kiss contract for the leads...So annoying!
